The house is gorgeous. With lots of nice touches ( very nice curtains!) , everything you need on arrival like coffee, milk, cooking oil and biscuits. My son enjoyed chilling out in the games room. Thank you.

Lovely cottage for a family of 4. Clean, warm and well equipped. Peaceful location with loads to do only a short drive away.
What a beautiful place! The property is absolutely immaculate and in a very quiet, peaceful spot. All the neighbours we spoke to were really friendly. There was a little park down the road which was great for our little girl. We also arrived to a little hamper too which was greatly appreciated by our 2 children after the journey. Honestly couldn't fault the place at all! We would 100% recommend this place and would love to return in the future. Thank you.
Serious mess up with the booking process through fault of the agent. Broken toilet. No hot running water for the first 24 hours of our 48 hour stay with children. Definitely won’t be booking via Host and Stay again and wouldn’t recommend them either.
Cottage was immaculate, with top quality furnishings and fittings. Spotlessly clean and welcoming. Huge basket of goodies too! We really appreciate being able to bring our dogs and there was lots of great walking from the cottage. Locals very friendly, human and canine. We'll definitely be back.
Sunshine cottage was a lovely place to stay. We were attending an event nearby and this was ideal for our time in the Dales. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. the welcoming basket of goodies was much appreciated after our long journey. We would love to return next year.
Fantastic Cottage This was a fantastic cottage with all the mod cons and incredibly clean, lovely beds and towels and biscuits and milk left for us also.We did think there would be a back garden with grass as we had taken our little dog with us but there was'nt. My husband did find a very large field with right of way about 2 mins walk away so little dog loved it so not so much of a problem.

Lovely quiet property, everything new and a good quality. Very well appointed kitchen. Photos are accurate other than the scenery, there is no view ( we knew this). Comfortable bed and powerful shower although the bedroom door can’t be closed due to the bed. Didn’t use the second bedroom or the upstairs room but these also looked good. Friendly chatty neighbours. Good location for walking and cycling. Parking fits a large car easily. The ‘host’ is a company, Host & Stay. Not so good. Informed of a broken toilet seat as we were driving there, told it would be replaced/fixed the next day..it wasn’t. Had to call them that night about an issue with drainage from the shower, told I would get a call back..never did. The price for the property includes a £60 cleaning charge, there were month old newspapers left on the TV stand.
Excellent well equiped cottage , ideal for exploring Wenslydale and Swaledale. comfortable and furnished to a high standard.
Positive: The cottage was lovely and really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer! Would work well for families as well as couples. Negative: No dislikes!
Eine kompakte Ferienwohnung für 3 vielleicht vier mit kleineren Kindern. Außen ein historisches wirkendes Cottage, innen modern ausgestattet. Eine Küche mit Top-Ausstattung, ebenso das Bad. Viele hilfreiche Ausflugstipps in einer Mappe und online. Im Ort selbst keine Pubs aber gleich ein paar Meilen entfernt. Auto braucht man.
Very quiet spot, the village has no shop, pub or anything! Leyburn is very close, so all facilities are closely available. Neighbours exceptionally friendly. The property was delightful and fitted our needs perfectly. We had the foresight to take a fan with us and it was very necessary!
Een geweldig gelegen cottage in een mooi dorp met betrokken en vriendelijke buren. Met Leyburn in de buurt alle winkels die nodig zijn dichtbij. De ruimte voldoet volledig aan de kwaliteit die de foto's uitstralen en we hebben hier met plezier 2 weken verbleven. De voordeur en terras zijn op het zuiden gericht, zodat het aangenaam vertoeven is op het terras als de zon schijnt. Alles was super schoon en rook fris en alle apparatuur werkt naar behoren. Er waren ruim, voldoende handoeken en bij aankomst voelde we ons direct welkom. Wij gaan hier zeker nog eens terug komen
Perfect getaway, a home from home. Lovely location with plenty of walks in the local area. Lots of amenities provided which made a big difference. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful cottage, clean and very well equipped with a lovely welcome basket full of goodies. Location is a little remote with no shop/pub within walking distance, but Wensley is only a 5 min drive away.
What a beautiful place to stay, whilst there may not be facilities such as a shop/pub, this did not detract from how beautiful the accommodation is, location was perfect for what we wanted to do. I would highly recommend booking.

Fantastic accommodation and just as hoped for. Everything that you’ll need has been considered. The location was great for exploring the Dales. nb There was a damage waiver fee of £25 or pay a damage deposit of £250 which is reimbursed after 14days!! and with a £10 admin charge 🤨
The cottage was lovely, well-equipped, and in a beautiful area. We will absolutely stay there again whenever we visit.

Cracking cottage in a rural location 5 minutes drive from Leyburn where you can eat, drink and shop for essentials.
Clean, bright and functional cottage in a good location. Needs a few more loving touches like bedside lamps next to the beds and some lamps in the lounge. Also would benefit from a fire of some kind as the place lacked a bit of character. Had pretty much everything we needed, although one or two washing capsules is generally expected, as is at least two toilet rolls.
Fabulous accommodation in a great part of the Dales. Fixtures & fittings to a very high standard. Great verandah to sit outside & enjoy the view of this friendly village.
A great base for a trip to the dales. The cottage has plenty of space for relaxing and a lovely kitchen which is modern and well equipped. The location is lovely in a quiet and very pretty village
