We had a wonderful stay at Sunset and we will definitely be back! It was perfect for us and our two dogs - plenty of room and a footpath leading from the apartment to the beach - no walking on the road required. Great location, 10 mins walk from the beach, or a few minutes into central Newquay with all the pubs, cafes and restaurants. The hosts were great and provided us with all the info we needed for a seamless check in, and the scones, cream and jam were a very sweet and welcome gesture! Only thing we would say is the toiletries and loo roll were a little sparse, but there’s a Spar round the corner so no massive drama. We didn’t have the best weather, but we still had a wonderful few days with this lovely cosy and comfortable apartment to return to after a blustery walk on the beach. 10/10 would recommend for an awesome dog-friendly family holiday, at any time of the year!

Phenomenal place. Huge apartment, beautifully decorated. The most amazing views and so well located where you can walk literally everywhere (even with little legs in tow). 100% recommend

The apartment was perfect for us and our 1 year old baby and young cocker spaniel for a 1 week stay. lots of space, well kitted out kitchen, high chair, good washer dryer. the place is decorated in a tasteful coastal style and felt homely. the location is ideal for fistral beach and Newquay town. it's a private development with access to a path that goes directly down to beach via the golf course. last but not least I must mention the balcony and amazing view of sunset. great stay and we'd definitely return.

Family of four - have stayed in the building before but at a different apartment. Loved the space and set up of this apartment. Everything was clean, comfortable and looked lovely. Perfect location for us and what we like to do in Newquay. Very good amenities and equipment. We struggled with the WIFI, this could do with upgrading, but otherwise a fabulous stay. Would highly recommend!!

We’ve had a great few days in a spacious and well furnished apartment. It was in a brilliant location. Great views. Close to the town centre and also Fistral beach. Perfect. We know the area well and enjoyed visiting The Fish House ( mussels were superb) and The Stables Pizza . Our dog had a great time on Fistral and Towan beaches. We look forward to returning to this property soon.

What a perfect stay!! The apartment is in the best possible location in Newquay - right next to the town so you can easily walk in and out with the supermarket really close but then set off the main road overlooking the golf course and down to Fistral beach so you feel totally secluded. A path goes directly to Fistral from the apartment block which is amazing. ‚Basket‘ is opposite too which is perfect for your morning coffee! Communication was superb from start to finish with clear instructions on how to check in and out and all details you need to know for such a stay, plus local restaurant tips and much more. Definitely want this to be our new go-to apartment in Cornwall!

Another fantastic stay. The accommodation was pristine and so comfy. The Xmas decorations and cream tea to welcome us were a lovely touch. This is the best accommodation we have found in the Fistral Beach area location wise. It’s close to both the beach and the town. We had a lovely lunch at the Fish House. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic, close to everything and really convenient for exploring the area. The apartment is bright, beautifully presented and very comfortable with a lovely welcoming feel. It’s also excellent for guests with dogs. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the dog bowls. Check-in was smooth and communication was great throughout. We would happily stay again and definitely recommend to others. Stayed for a long weekend for my birthday. Absolutely fantastic location, sea views from the balcony and a picturesque 10 minute walk to fistral beach. And only 15 minutes into the town centre. Apartment itself was spacious and very cutely decorated with nice little decor and ornaments. The communication with the host was also superb, rapid responses to any questions or worries, and just all in all very helpful. Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend.

Proactive, clear communications. Easy to check in. Lovely location and apartment with excellent facilities and views overlooking Fistral and The Headland. Great value for money and can highly recommend for a relaxing break!

A very well equipped holiday apartment with lovely views over the golf links to the sea. Comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Only quibble was that the wifi connection dropped out a bit, but that might just be an issue in the local area.

Wir (4 Erwachsene) hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche in Newquay und die schöne Wohnung hat mit dazu beigetragen. Es war alles, wie beschrieben bzw. auf den Fotos zu sehen. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, perfekt ausgestattet, war sehr sauber und der riesige Balkon bietet einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer und den Golfplatz. Die Kommunikation mit Host&Stay war sehr gut (schnelles Antworten, viele nützliche Informationen) Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort Urlaub machen.

A lovely Cornish retreat with great views Positive: Perfect location for Fistral beach and the town centre. Lovely views, especially at sunset. The apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It really felt like you were in Cornwall and by the sea and very homely. Nice welcome pack with scones, jam and clotted cream. Unfortunately I fell in love with the Gtech vacuum they have which collected the sand from my dog brilliantly, I ordered one as soon as I got home! One of the nicer apartments I’ve stayed in and was way better than the one I stayed in the 3 nights prior in Perranporth. Negative: These are not things I didn’t like, just to note for future guests, minor things that can easily be fixed. They are the reason I only gave a 9 and not a 10. The towels are tired and need to be replaced with hotel quality white fluffy ones. There was only one toilet roll. Maybe it’s because I was a solo traveler. I hope they give more for families. There was a bulb out in one of the under cabinet lights in the kitchen. It would have been nice to have some premium hand wash, body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms.

We had wonderful stay & cannot wait to return. Positive: Lovely homely apartment, comfortable beds, great size rooms, very well equipped, spotlessly clean, great location. Negative: Nothing I didn’t like.

Third time we have stayed here.

Nice and big, looked lovely but then the problems started. Sliding patio door broke so couldn’t open it on the hottest night there and no other windows there to open in the lounge. Maintenance came the next day and informed us that this is a repeated occurrence and he has told them it needs replacing. Found cutlery still dirty from previous guests. Shower mat had black mould on extractor in kitchen covered in dirt so didn’t work and the fridge makes a very annoying high pitched noise. Was very disappointed by the fact they advertise as luxury when this was basic. Gave feed back via email and message and have been completely ignored which is disgraceful and rude. All we wanted was an apology and to give them feedback before there next guests stayed. Unfortunately would not stay with this host again.

Upon arrival we had been given the wrong code for the gated entrance. Luckily someone pulled up behind us and gave us the code or we would have been stuck. We had major problems with the patio doors in the living space. They became jammed we couldnt open them. We contacted host an stay to no avail. We had to contact AirnB to ask them if they could sort it out. We didn’t get it sorted . They came to fix it when we had left despite being there for 11 nights. We were ignored by both host and stay and the owner of the apartment. The weather was extremely hot while we were there, the fact that we couldn’t ventilate the room at any point during our stay was very uncomfortable and unliveable. The place wasn’t particularly clean with dirty sink plugs in both bathrooms along with a dirty frying pan, rubbish left under cushions on the balcony,a receipt under the bed from the 20th May! Would I recommend booking with host and stay or this apartment no I would not. It was a shambles!

Had a lovely stay here . The location is the best in Newquay and I have been coming here and stayed at many different locations. Spotlessly clean , all amenities to hand . A view over the beach to watch the sun go down . A quiet location with parking . Very responsive host . Highly recommend.

Apart from the keys it is a fantastic location to stay in Positive: Location , views Negative: Wrong gate key code given , has to have a 0 at the start of the number,spent 20 minutes trying and eventually had to find someone who was already there ,who told us there was a 0 at the start of the number. Apartment keys in unmarked key box had to try all of them to find which opened with the number given

Three nights at this apartment and it was fantastic. Not a single thing I would change or do differently. Great, friendly host. Fantastic location and views. Very nice apartment. We will definitely be coming back again - can’t wait!

Great base for trip to St Andrews, whether that be golfing, sightseeing or visiting friends and family. Very close to everything going on in the town, restaurants, bars and places of interest. Fantastic place to stay, will revisit for sure.

Although hilly, the apartment is in a great location with Fistral beach and Newquay within walking distance. Secure allocated parking, the apartment is large and bright with lovely views of Newquay Golf Club and the sea. The apartment is quiet, clean and had ample space for storage. We have stayed in lots of holiday homes in Newquay and this is by far our favourite, we look forward to returning in the future.

Apartment was great, not good housekeeping services.. Positive: Great location, lovely spacious apartment Negative: Towels were dirty. We arrived on a Sunday and the housekeeper didn’t change the towels until the next day. There was no welcome pack. We booked an extra night but unfortunately, there was no heating on for the evening or hot water provided for our last morning (cold showers)!! they hadn’t allocated the extra night🙁

A beautiful flat in a great location close to Newquay town centre and Fistral Beach. A very modern flat with everything you need.

Fantastic place to stay, comfortable & well equipped and the view was amazing. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

We have just returned from a nice, relaxing break in this lovely apartment. We found everything within the apartment great - the kitchen has everything required and is well stocked with cutlery, crockery etc. There is ample space within the cupboards and fridge/freezer. The beds were comfortable and the heating responsive during one colder, windier, day. There is plenty of space and everything is well laid out. We went to Sainsbury’s just prior to 1600 hrs check-in and so had some frozen food to get into the freezer - The only issue we have was that the code for the gate was wrong in the pre-briefing material and the text from Charlie and so we had some delay trying to enter the property on arrival. This was resolved within about 30 mins luckily. Aside from this, we had a great time relaxing and taking the short walk to Fistral and Newquay. We would recommend the apartment and would like to return soon. Thank you.

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft Positive: Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, toll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Schöne große Schlafzimmer und Bäder. Wunderbarer Balkon und ein toller Ausblick. Nah zur Küste und zum Einkaufen. Ein gesicherter Parkplatz. Alles hat uns an dieser Unterkunft gefallen und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Absolut empfehlenswert! Would highly recommend this was a great location and would love to come back soon! Positive: Great location and wonderful view from the large balcony. Comfortable beds, lots of space for clothes and really lovely decor. Overall was well kitted out for our stay. Negative: Bath towels could have been larger and softer. Toilet roll in each toilet would have been ideal on arrival and glass chopping board not plastic or wooden in the kitchen and another couple of saucepans and frying pans too would have been more convenient

We come to Newquay frequently , often looked at this building from the outside , great location , west aspect so perfect for evening sun and sunsets looking over fistral , only downside which is nothing to do with the hosts is that the parking bays are extremely tight . Though with good cooperation from neighbouring parking bays it all worked out fine . Will look to see if available next time.

Was such a shame we had a problem with the electric gate number to get on the premises being incorrect leaving us waiting for a while after a 5 hour drive not ideal but it was sorted by the following day so can’t fault the efforts in helping us. Nevertheless what a great apartment it is, really spacious bedrooms and the living room feels very homely, all whilst having an amazing view of fistral beach and a large balcony area, the best thing for us was the location, 10 minute walk to fistral beach bar and 10 minute walk to town with a great Thai takeaway literally next door, would definitely stay again we loved it

This is the second time we have stayed here and have loved it each time. Fabulous location, very clean and decorated well. Cosy and welcoming with great facilities. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment. Couldn’t find which key safe related to which apartment as wasn’t labelled. Bed was a little uncomfortable and pillows not great. Towels a little threadbare. Everything else good. Thank you for a lovely stay.
