Great property, great location, would highly recommend Positive: This property is absolutely beautiful. It's tastefully decorated with quality features throughout. I love the fact they accommodate dogs but don't skimp on the style and comfort which you get with some dog friendly places. Lovely touches were the thoughtful teacakes, biscuits and milk. The convenient location meant we didn't move the car all the time we were there as everything needed was in easy walking distance. Negative: Nothing not to like.

Positive: Well stocked. Clean, neat and well cared for. Quiet road and walking distance to everything. Dog friendly.

Sunbeam House was beautiful. Exceptionally clean and felt right at home instantly. The bed's were so comfortable we had the best night's sleep. Very peaceful location. The house was very well equipped. It was cosy and warm. The pretty little private and secure courtyard was great for our little dog and us to sit and have evening drinks and breakfast. The front garden is full of wild flowers where we sat and watched the bird's and butterflys from the front room. Great location for walking out and about or driving. Plenty of space for parking. We will definitely be booking another holiday at Sunbeam House.

Extremely pleased with the place. Very good location handy for the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Excellent park nearby to walk dogs in morning. Need to be aware that it is a steep hill to beach so need to be ok with a climb back up but you could always drive down and park. But you’d have to pay for parking. Lots of lovely places to visit within an easy drive. We traveled in an EV and found it easy to find charging locations in most places.

A true home from home, Saltburn is my happy place and this property will now be my go-to when I return. It was simple perfect. Walked to all my favourite haunts, met up with fellow dog slaves and totally relaxed. Even my 19 year old, who has mobility issues, managed as this house is within easy access to amenities and travel links. Will definately be a repeat booker for this beautiful home.

We had a lovely stay at Sunbeam. Perfect location for a weekend next to the sea. The house was beautifully decorated on a nice quiet street. Really enjoyed our stay and especially being able to have our dogs with us. Would recommend. ✨

What a lovely house, beautifully presented and tastefully decorated. There were very comprehensive instructions on how stuff worked. It's not far from the sea and parking was a doddle. Being a little away from the pubs and cafe's our house was quiet. I would absolutely recommend this property....it's awful to go away and be disappointed....we weren't. Thankyou for letting us stay with our dog.

Fantastic property Positive: Really clean property, perfect with dogs. Very big and bright. Negative: Wasn’t an issue for us but it’s a bit back from the front and is a little walk but not an issue.

Stayed in saltburn a few times and this stay tops them all! Such a cute and stylish house in a great location. Clean, cozy and bonus of the courtyard for the dogs. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend.

lovely comfortable stay Positive: the property is beautifully decorated and furnished. It felt like being at home right away. The house had all we needed , including a secure space for our dogs in the small back yard. We arrived to the home being lit for our late arrival. Tea, fresh milk, biscuits, and teacakes were a pleasant surprise. Our teenagers enjoyed the space and wanted to stay longer. The area is quite and family friendly, close to all you'll need in Saltburn. The owner of the property was quick to respond to all my questions and we met in person as we left, he was very friendly and felt like a very approachable person.

We had the most wonderful stay, the property was clean, fresh and tidy. It was perfect for a toddler and older family. Walkable to the centre and beach.

Wonderful stay at Sunbeam House. Really convenient for the prom and beach but very quiet location in residential area. Immaculate interior and comfortable beds. Loved being in Saltburn; such a calm, relaxing place to be and then lovely accommodation to return to after a good walk! Perfect!

We had an excellent week long stay and found the home to be very warm and welcoming. We had a new born baby with us so was an ideal location for meeting up with family who wanted to see the baby. House was spotless and felt like a home away from home with everything we needed. Iron, dishwasher, washing machine everything needed for a new born baby :) we also had a whippet with us who loved a good run on the beach. would love to stay again in the future. Saltburn is a wonderful town that brought back many happy childhood memories for us. Great places to eat and a lot of dog friendly m, accommodating shops and restaurants. Thanks!

Lovely place to spend our weekend and everything was within walking distance. Only thing to note was the WiFi password didn’t work, not sure if it had changed recently and the ‘note’ hadn’t been updated. All 4 of my party tried the Wi-Fi password separately several times to no joy. Only a little comment for future bookings. But other than that the house was lovely. Thank you.

The property is ideal, very clean and has everything you need for self catering, nice touch was hot cross buns, biscuits and milk as well as tea and coffee and basics. Beds are very comfortable. Location is good - ten minute walk to the seafront. There are lots of bars and restaurants- coco and rum is a Thai restaurant which was really nice. We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay again if we are visiting the area.

What a find ! This is such a great place, everything you could possibly want was there. This is the second time we have stayed in Saltburn and this made the break very nice When we return, we shall definitely check availability.

Nice comfortable well equipped accommodation but parking was an issue & the check-in was quite late Positive: Comfortable, had all things you would require for your stay, good location (handy for central Saltburn and coast), quiet area. Hosts provided milk and hot cross buns which was a nice touch but could work on their communication approach (see below) Negative: Check-in time is later than most properties - please note you have to pay an additional £30 to check in before 4PM! The neighbours were also quite noisy and you got the impression they did not like visitors staying next door as they made parking very difficult (parking further up from their house to stop you getting in or parking right up to your bumpers to make it difficult getting out). Parking is on a 'first come first serviced' basis as informed by the owners only the day before arrival. Therefore, if you do get a parking space you are reluctant to leave it to explore the area as you may not get it back (particularly after 4pm when the locals return and park up). We only stayed two nights (stayed for work) and in late September but if you are staying longer for a holiday at busier times, this may be a bigger problem. Also, the emails sent by the hosts are worded in quite a patronising way e.g. you are 'reminded' on the evening before you leave that you are due to leave the following day ... as if you do not know this!! Perhaps the email was not meant in this way and was an automated message but it did quite annoy us and spoilt the stay a little (this and struggling to get car out of the parking space being our last impressions), particularly when it was stressed we had to leave before 10am and we had already arranged to leave at 7.30am. The hosts could perhaps work on the wording of these email and respect us as paying guests and not school children!!

Comfortable restful oasis Positive: Great location, comfortable, spotlessly clean, clutter free yet with thoughtful things provided- basic condiments, plenty of dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder…. Even spare light bulbs and remote control batteries. My measure of a good holiday rental is ‘is this as comfortable as my own home and what can I learn about good design?’ So well presented… even down to useful private back outdoor space and lovely front garden…. Brilliant in every way. Negative: Everything good

Wunderschönes und hervorragend ausgestattetes und sauberes Haus. Positive: Wir verbrachten 8 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Das Haus liegt ideal in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und ist trotzdem perfekt gelegen un zu Fuß in die Innenstadt von Saltburn, oder hinab zur Promenade und zum Strand zu kommen. Ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg. Viele Geschäfte und Restaurants/Pubs in der Nähe, genauso wie ein ein Spar oder ein Sainsburys. Das Haus war super sauber und wirklich wunderschön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Viele kleine, Lampen sorgen für gemütliches Licht. Der kleine Hinterhof ist ideal um Wäsche aufzuhängen oder seinen Tee in der Mittagssonne zu trinken. Sehr bequeme Betten, ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten im Wohnzimmer. Sehr gut ausgestattete und großzügige Küche. Lichtdurchfluteter Sitzbereich. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit dem Ofen, Graham war so nett und kam innerhalb von 10 Minuten vorbei und konnte das Problem lösen. Wir bekamen sogar noch frische Handtücher während unseres Aufenthaltes. Saltburn eignet sich hervorragend, um Ausflüge in alle Richtungen zu unternehmen. ( Zum Beispiel nach Newcastle, Roseberry Topping, Castle Howard, das Moorland) Wir empfehlen Sunbeam House zu 100 Prozent weiter und würden das Haus auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Negative: Alles bestens, 😊

Wonderful stay! Positive: Sunbeam House was in a peaceful location, very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean making it a great base for exploring coast and countryside. We were fortunate with the wonderful weather enabling us to enjoy the Saltburn seaside atmosphere, including a dip in the sea! We loved the views on the cliff walk to Marske and searching for fossils on the way back along the beach. The steps up from the beach in Saltburn were quite steep and the lift wasn't working but we found a more gentle & very pleasant way back to the town walking through the Valley Gardens. Negative: We couldn't find any instructions for the washing machine but we worked out how to use it. The dots on the 2 main oven control knobs were very faint making it a bit difficult to turn to the right setting.

What a fabulous house! So tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. Lots of local amenities a few minutes walk - lovely shops, cafes and of course the beach. Highly recommend Sunday lunch at Brockley Hall Hotel and hiring a beach hut on the promenade. A great base to explore North Yorkshire. We loved Runswick Bay, Goathland and Northallerton. Cannot recommend this property highly enough - loved it.

We had a lovely time at Sunbeam House - our first trip with a baby! Easy walk into town or to the seafront and doable with a pushchair through if you take the route through the woods. We were initially confused about the mandate to either purchase a form of insurance from Host & Stay or pay an additional damage deposit, but when we asked Host & Stay they confirmed we didn't actually need to pay for either. FYI in case you are thinking of booking! It's a great place, we loved the decor and it is particularly well equipped for cooking at home. We did go to the Seaview restaurant and had a lovely meal on Father's Day!

The cottage is lovely, nicely furnished and well kept. Good location, close to the town centre, shops restaurants etc. street parking was no problem, easy to find a space. Overall a great place to stay, we would love to come back.

A really comfortable and welcoming stay. Positive: Very comfortable property. Nicely decorated. Lovely bed linen and towels. They make the best use of the space they have. Quality fittings and furniture. Very clean. Quiet area. Walking distance of shops and beach. Steep hill on the way back. Negative: Mostly things they can't really do anything about - they have a small back yard (all very clean and tidy) - it's secure which was good for the dog but no grass or gravel area. A couple of deck chairs might have been more comfy in the back. It's on street parking and it was a busy road so you can't always park outside but there was room just around the corner. Hot cross buns as a welcome gift was a nice touch but they are a bit niche. Check in time is 4pm which seemed very late given check out is 10am - would be nice to extend the check out to later too.

Lovely property, very bright, clean and tidy on arrival. All facilities excellent. Comfy beds, bed linen nice and fresh. Kitchen had everything you needed. Little treats left for us which we appreciated after long journey. Also cleaning products in property was great, didn't have to go out and buy any. Excellent stay, and will be booking again. One thing which could make it better is a TV upstairs in bedroom.

The house was in a very quiet street but close to all amenities . The house was beautifully presented . Very clean and well equipped and very comfortable . We had a great holiday and Nelly the dog loved it !

Sunbeam house is so lovely, decorated beautifully, pristinely clean. Everything is such good quality. It’s a perfect position for walking into the small town for early evening drinks and a bite to eat. 10 minutes or so to the sea front. Easy parking. Nothing to dislike. I’ll be back. Love Saltburn and this house is a gem.

Sunbeam House is stylish, comfortable, quiet and well located only a short walk from the town centre and sea front. It was spotless and we appreciated the welcome gifts after our journey. We would definitely stay again amd would recommend to friends and family looking for a stay in Saltburn.

Very well appointed house. The space has been very well executed with everything you need. The stay was short for us. Just 2 nights but the Beds are very clean and comfortable and the shower off the kitchen was great with beautiful white towels supplied. Sofas comfy but on the small side.

Great location, within 10 minutes walk of the beach etc. Easy parking straight outside the property. Accommodation has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. Cosy and warm with the heating on, would definitely recommend and we will be rebooking in the near future

We had a great time staying in Saltburn. The property was lovely, very clean, nicely decorated and with a nice welcome pack and basic supplies provided. Host & Stay communicated clearly with all the information we needed. Saltburn is an interesting seaside town with easy access to the north Yorkshire coast, well definitely be back.

The house was very well laid out and everything was spotlessly clean (although at £60 cleaning fee, I suppose it should be!). Shower (wetroom), was really nice to use with plenty of space. Kitchen had everything you could need and all the appliances were modern and of good quality. Very quiet location, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Easy walk to the town centre and the beach makes this place very convenient for all Saltburn has to offer. The surrounding areas of the North York Moors and other costal highlights are only a short drive away.

Beautiful, well equipped holiday home, 10/10 Positive: Such a lovely house, beautifully decorated, and so well equipped. The hosts had really thought of everything. Lots of coat hangers, towels, toilet rolls, hand-wash and other toiletries was such a nice touch. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and a couple of other treats meant you could sit straight down and have a cuppa without having to find a shop. The bath was very deep, and looked fabulous. It was a bit tricky for the older guests, but there is a separate shower, which was excellent with great water pressure, and lovely and hot. Two double beds had comfortable mattresses and pillows. Lots of drawer storage and hanging space, a hair dryer in each room and plenty of mirrors and sockets. The outside space was a perfect little suntrap to sit and enjoy. On street parking was convenient, and we always got parked right outside the property. Lovely quiet street. There was a small supermarket 5 minutes walk away and a fish and chip shop around the corner. A short walk into town means you can leave the car behind. Negative: Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like.

Can't recommend this house highly enough. Lovely house on a quiet street and an easy few minute walk to the centre of Saltburn, Valley Gardens, and the beach. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, great communal space, and nice outdoor area too.

Easy walking to the Saltburn coastline and town. Saltburn isn’t somewhere we had previously visited but will certainly come again. Close to Whitby and Redcar too.
