Wonderful little bolt hole for our family of 4. Really comfy beds pillows and linen, cosy fireplace and easy parking. Fantastic location for visits to Runswick bay and Whitby with our children.

The place was cosy and charming, with plenty of character. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed and beds were comfortable. The location was great for visiting Sandsend and Whitby. Pre-arrival communication from the host was great.

Lovely cottage with plenty of available parking , nice walk down to sandsend via the woods then joining the Cleveland way . Quiet spot on an evening .X4 bus stop right outside the stiddy was handy for getting into Whitby.All in all a great base for a seaside break

Lovely cottage, great location for Sandsend and the Cleveland Way. Got the kids to walk to Runswick Bay then bus back. Very easy. Only complaint was there were no matches for the log burner. Nearest shop was a 30 minute return trip to Whitby.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay in a cottage full of character Positive: The cottage was spotlessly clean and the two main bedrooms were very spacious. We loved the sunny front courtyard, perfect for a morning coffee. And being able to hop onto the coastal bus, just across the road. Negative: It would have been nice to have been able to book out at 11 instead of 10.

A really lovely little cottage with everything you need. Parking was easy. Walk down to sandsend is very nice, but if you're planning on a big meal down there, get a taxi or the bus back up! 😂
