Perfect place to stay! It is so convenient to train station, Sainsbury’s, beach and lots of restaurants and pubs. Pod 1 was perfect for me traveling alone and I think it would work for a couple as well. Communication with Host & Stay was excellent and check-in/out was smooth. Saltburn is a lovely village and it’s a great base for walking beach, coast trails and for venturing out by bus or car if you have one. Really enjoyed my stay of almost 10 days.

We really enjoyed our stay in studio pod 1! It was modern, clean and tidy. The location is excellent with it being opposite sainsburys and the train station. It is also only a few minutes walk to Saltburn beach and 30-60 min drive to gorgeous north york moors national Parks walks and coastal towns.

Positive: Perfect location, spotlessly clean and excellent value for money.

Great place, right next door to the station and Sainsbury’s and a 5 minute walk down to the sea. We stayed as a couple and it was just the right size with a good little kitchenette and dinner table :)

Helpful instructions how to get to and in the property. Local info good. The property was very clean and welcoming.everything we needed was in the property the only thing I would recommend is they put in a king size bed. But overall the property was great.

Very good location - less than a minute from the train station and supermarket. Very comfortable studio with modern amenities.

Had a lovely stay Positive: Perfect location near the train station and near to shops and easy to get the the beach etc. Well equipped and comfortable Negative: Had difficulty with the keys - the code was unclear - mistook a B for an 8. Main issue was the noise from the pod upstairs. No soundproofing so I heard every footstep - very loud.

Weekend away Positive: Lovely self contained studio done to a very high standard and everything you needed even complimentary tea, coffee and coffee pods and sachets of milk on arrival. The location is great on the main street. Good communication too at all times. Negative: We had to pay £20 to cover deposit for property none returnable or pay £150 for deposit and provided everything ok £140 would be returned taking a £10 admin fee - sorry don't agree with this and didn't see till after we had booked.

Overall I enjoyed my stay in the Studio Pod. It was beautifully presented and in a great location. Parking outside was always available but that might have been because of the dates that I stayed. There was a problem with the heating and hot water when I arrived which was quickly sorted out.

Bed comfy and ideally situated. Negative: Studio was not clean. Full of flies and no toilet paper. Luckily Sainsbury over road for some air freshener and toilet paper. Reported to Host.

Positive: Immaculate modern and great location. Negative: In their guide they didn't list cooker/oven instructions and as never used induction system I had to contact office.

Great little place to stay. In the heart of salt burn and close to everything you need. Supermarket, nice restaurant and beach.

Negative: No glasses apart from wine glasses

I was satisfied Positive: I liked the way it was designed very practical nice colour golden blinds nice size bath . Negative: Bed was comfy and clean

Positive: I can't recommend due to the deposit situation. Negative: They took a deposit of £250 plus a £10 admin fee which meant I had £250 taken off my card for weeks. I've never stayed anywhere that has taken a deposit off me like this and I have stayed in hotels in 86 countries around the world. It just isn't something that happens and it's really unfair as I had to take photos of everything in case of a dispute, I did get the money back but the anxiety that money could be taken for any reason was horrible. It was like renting somewhere and worrying you didn't clean it enough when you leave so not a relaxing holiday at all. Also, the property would be covered by insurance in case of damage, yes people do damage places but it isn't the norm and I would have cancelled it if it wasn't non-refundable.

Tone was insulting in communications. Positive: Clean lovely space. Negative: I call this a spreadsheet space. Everything is calculated to maximize return. No contact, tons of warnings rules, zero personality. Damage deposit, the only one I have seen, was excessive and held way too long. Warnings to be out because cleaners to arrive by 10am, okay fair timing but tone was awful. And if cleaners are there by 10am, why is the damage deposit held for so very long. As I said, squeeze all they can, treat guests like sheep, and hold their money. Great financing plan, for them. Will never agree to such terms again.

Wonderful place to stay, perfect location to get to the beach and shops. The pod had everything we needed while staying.

Can't fault Pod 1's amenities and in a great location for exploring Saltburn. Close to train station, Sainsburys and a Spar so well catered for if supplies needed. Would recommend the Thai restaurant literally across the road, Coco and Rum. Pod was clean and tidy. Clean cutlery, utensils and glasses etc and above standard for some Airbnb's. Communications with host were prompt in response and positive at all times. Area is quite at night. Wholly recommended experience and stay.

Very comfortable, warm, clean and tidy, nice and central for the town.

Nice pod and a good location, but won't book again due to noise and hidden costs Negative: Not impressed with the hidden costs. Not enough sound proofing between the pod and the one above. Noisy neighbours kept us awake. This property was our second choice as our initial booking was cancelled without explanation.

Nice little apartment. Cozy and well equipped, with coffee capsules for the machine, great location, proximity to train station, supermarkets and restaurants very good. The bathroom was very small, not possible to sit on the toilet, due to leg space. But good water pressure in shower.

I obliterated booked the pod due to the inviting photos of the room, it was lovely

amazing location, two minutes from the sea and saltburn is beautiful. The room doesn't get heaps of natural light as its a ground floor room if that matters to you :)

We enjoyed our stay and will use the Studio Pod again.

Lovely Airbnb. Perfect for a couple of days away. Close to the seafront & centre of town & free parking on the street outside. Sainsburys opposite which was handy. Really enjoyable stay & would like to return

Positive: Perfect pit stop accommodation in centre. Comfortable bed with excellent kitchen supplies. Negative: Happy wifh everything.

Excellent Clean Modern Rental Positive: The location was excellent. Right across the street was a Sainsburys supermarket and Saltburn train station. Along the street were some lovely new cafe bars and restaurants and several minutes down the road behind the property was the beach. The property itself was the perfect size. Small but spacious all newly fitted out with the usual mod cons. The bathroom was beautiful. All in all it was clean and relaxing. Negative: Although we didn't hear much noise, the outdoor bins were right outside our ground floor apartment which made me feel a little uneasy about opening the windows. It was totally secure but anyone from the other apartments who were taking their rubbish out would easily see through the middle window so we kept the blind down. We also noticed halfway through our stay the noise coming from the apartment above. Whoever was staying there frequently walked up and down daily and the noise was very loud.

The studio was beautiful, everything looked brand new and the location is very central with free street parking outside. 100% recommended!

The perfect stay in Saltburn and perfect location! 10/10 highly recommended.

Short break Absolutely everything we required. Property was as new and suited us perfectly. One very small issue - could hear tenants every step in the studio above us. Luckily they retired at a reasonable hour so lucky us. Would not get a ground floor next time. Regardless really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay and the studio was in the perfect location We stayed as part of a walking holiday (Cleveland way ) we ate at Jadoo local Indian which was really good lamb rogan josh for me 😋 The studio was perfect for the trains and busses will definitely be back

Lovely stay Positive: The location was brilliant- opposite Sainsburys and town (yet somehow quiet) and a 5 minute walk to the sea. It looked exactly like the photos- brand new, modern, fresh and clean, including full kitchen facilities. Parking was available on the street outside. Arriving and departing instructions were easy to follow. Negative: The windows are mostly frosted as the pod is by a bin area (seemed well kept so I wouldn't worry about smell). The toilet is really close to the bath which might be an issue for a larger person. No hairdryer I didn't like having to upload my driving license to a third party to verify the booking.
