excellent accomodation, perfect central location, we had 5 adults 2 children and 3 dogs between us and this house accommodated us all beautifully. clean, well presented, nice layout the only thing I could ask for extra was handsoap and washing up liquid!

Very comfortable and modern , well prepared and spacious house in a quiet residential area with a nice park adjacent. The tennis rackets, basketball and bucket and spades that the hosts provide are very welcome too. Recommended accommodation if staying near Hartlepool and Seaton Carew beach is only 5 mins walk away and miles of golden sand.

Beautiful location, fantastic home and the hot tub was brilliant - very residential area! Positive: The location was absolutely perfect. You are a couple of minutes walk from a stunning beach, the back of the house is directly onto basketball, tennis courts etc and a fantastic green space and park too! Negative: The house was a little cold in the night in some rooms but this is a minor quibble! Also, I think it's important to mention it's a very residential area and we had four excited kids with us and arrived fairly late at night. The neighbour did pop round and say we had disturbed them due to the kids exploring the house. We are very conscientious people but the walls are very thin and the floors extra creaky. It's definitely something to bear in mind if you have a few children, young children etc! The parking suffered from this too as it was frowned upon (understandably) if you parked outside of the direct front of the property, difficult if you have more then one car for any reason.

Wonderful hidden gem This place couldn't have been more perfect for our needs. We were a group of 6 with a toddler and five year old. The property was minutes from the sea front, with plenty of parking. The living room area was a really decent size and all the bedrooms were comfortable. My dad is from Hartlepool so we've found a great base for when we visit in the future.

Lovely house with everything you could possibly need and only a hop skip and a jump to the beach. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of a busy day too, the only problem being that we didnt want to get out again! My grandaughter loved the house so much she says she is going to live there forever when she's older......enough said!

Positive: The hosts had thought of everything. A welcome hamper for us and biscuits for the dogs, air freshers in toilets, very well stocked kitchen. It all just made out stay so much easier. Loved the hot tub, especially after a new year's run. Negative: Some of the furniture is ready to be replaced. It all works, but feeling ready to update. Didn't take anything away from the stay. Another kitchen towel would be good too.

A brilliant house, very clean, well organised, full of all essentials and utensils that you could possibly need, extremely spacious and location for 4 adults and a dog was fabulous right next to a large park / playing field /tennis courts and 5 minute walk to the seafront. The location felt very safe. The rear garden was secure for our dog and the adults all enjoyed the extremely large, clean hot tub ! sofas and beds were all comfy and bed linen was clean and fresh. This house had everything we needed and would definitely recommend and stay here again.

What a perfect home and host. The house was exactly as described, with a lovely, dog safe, outside space in which to enjoy the sunny weather, overlooking the park. The host was amazing, welcoming, friendly and helpful, who went the extra mile by supplying (amongst other things) tea/coffee/hot choc, milk and cakes on arrival, which was perfect after our long drive. There were lots of towels, which surprisingly not many hosts supply and extras like sports equipment, e.g. tennis racquets and footballs which added to the fun! Oh and did I mention the hot tub!? Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this property.

Positive: Place was lovely nice and clean handy to the beach hot tub bonus as well and everything for dogs as well and secure back garden . Negative: There was post to be tumble dryer but machine broke when we landed replaced bye Monday that was good but just washing machine if weather not so good how post to get clothes dry .

The house is spacious and clean. Close to the beach which is very long and a good walk for the dogs. The accommodation had everything we needed, very well equipped with spacious garden front and back. Tennis/basketball courts literally next to the property and big open parks nearby. Hot tub is a great addition. Communication superb offering an online visitors guide which tells you everything you need to know. Check in/out easy and simple.

We have a fabulous stay, the house was perfect for our long weekend break, fantastic for the dogs, so close to the park and beach. Lots to see and do. Neighbours very welcoming. Big spacious rooms and downstairs was great for socialising. The hot tub was super clean. Nice touches we had milk on arrival and treats for the dogs.

I made the booking for our employees who were assisting with the project in nearby port. they couldn't have been happier with the place - nice, comfortable and clean. Hot-tub added the extra cherry on the top :-)

We absolutely loved our stay at Stonehaven, it was 7 of us and a dog, we honestly had the best time. It was a much needed family getaway and was in a perfect location only a 5 min walk from the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and made memories with family members which we’ll cherish for a lifetime. The only small changes needed we felt were: 1: A dishwasher would be very helpful especially seeing as the home can hold up for 7 people and 2 pets I think a dishwasher is necessary. We also found some crockery and plates that were left slightly dirty from previous guests, a dishwasher would eliminate that ever being an issue. 2: The shower is very slow, it was just something all of us felt we struggled with as the power from the shower is like a leaking drip from a tap it took all 7 of us 4 hours back to back to just shower (no hair wash etc). Overall would definitely recommend the place as the teeny tiny cons could never outweigh the positives of this wonderful house.

We had a very nice stay. It was a quiet neighbourhood, handy for the excellent beach, and a small local park. There were nice seafront walks. The house was well-equipped and comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. The tennis racquets were a nice bonus, to use on the adjoining courts. The grocery shops were a 10 minute walk away.

Property in great location for park and seafront. Hot tub was a big hit. Car parking an issue, off road parking was only suitable for a small car and was difficult parking on road, neighbour even came and asked us to move our car so they could park, even though we were parked in front of the property! We knew this was a pet friendly place but had hoped it would have been cleaned enough to cover smells, unfortunately not, had to go and buy air fresheners for various rooms and bleach for kitchen sink. The whole place was quite grubby, dirty glass on doors and windows, cobwebs in bathroom and paintwork dirty. There was a lack of checking out rules, unmake beds or not, wasn’t too sure about the taking rubbish home with you if you had too much! No bag in food waste caddy.

We stayed here for a visit to the local area, and the location was ideal for what we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped, with plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans and everything you could need to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the hot tub, so can’t comment on that. Communication from the host was excellent throughout, with clear information and quick responses, which made everything very straightforward. The property itself could benefit from a little TLC and more attention to detail in places. A few areas felt a little tired and would be improved with some maintenance and a refresh. Overall, though, we had a pleasant stay and found it to be a good base for exploring the area.

A lovely place to stay. The hot tub being ready to use was a fantastic bonus at the end of the day. The host was very kind, leaving milk, fresh water in the fridge, and biscuits for tea. The house is comfortable and well located for exploring the local surroundings and coastline.

The property was nice and tidy, location was quiet with well kept green areas. One minus was the hot tub seemed to be leaking water so had to be refilled regularly by the owner. Also temperature regulation was difficult to synchronise and at times the water was lukewarm.

Stonehaven was above and beyond our expectations. It’s tasteful, modern and immaculate interior looks as though its been done by a professional. Our host left us wanting for nothing, fluffy new towels, plenty of loo roll, tv’s in our rooms,a welcome hamper and even spices and essential condiments to name but a few . We would certainly give it a first class rating and go back in a heartbeat.

Nice property and location. WARNING - you have to take out a damage waiver policy with an external company (superhog) before the host will allow check in. 2 options; they hold £250 on a card for a £10 admin fee, or £25 fee for £500 of protection. My reading of the small print was any damage above these values and superhog deem you liable and will chase you for the balance. We didn't have any damage issue so do not know what happens if there is a problem but did have to pay the fee.
