Nice house in a nice little town. Positive: The house was right in the centre of Saltburn and has parking (but is tight) and a secure dog friendly yard, clean with a well equipped kitchen we liked this house. If arriving by train it's probably closer to the platform than the ticket office, the Thai close by nice food . Negative: Couldn't find any oven gloves.

We had a really nice time. Lovely walks along the coast with the dog, Positive: Simple to do.

Fabulous beach which the dogs love. Positive: The property is well equipped and in a perfect location.

Relaxed break to Saltburn with dogs Positive: The cottage was in a perfect location, opposite the train station and central, near bars, restaurants and shops and 5 minutes to the cliff tops. It had everything required for a relaxed holiday. Clean throughout, wifi, good information, spacious, outdoor patio area with seating, all the facilities for a self-catering break. Negative: Nothing.

The house is perfect. We stayed for the weekend, visiting family. It’s so cosy, has everything you need, and the location is spot on- close to the beach, and the town centre, which has some great bars. We will definitely stay again.

Brilliant little house, really nicely kept. Everything we needed. Nice extra touches with kids books and puzzles and a cake when we got there. Perfect location very close to shops and beach. In terms of Host and Stay, only involvement was the emails they sent and tried to ring them when finding the place and they didn’t answer. Was easy enough to find really (satnav just said it was on the roundabout, was off to the left just opposite railway station), but wanted confirmation about which parking space we were supposed to use.

We had the perfect seaside stay in Station View and we would definitely visit again! Positive: I was given a code to access a lock box the day before arrival. The house was very easy to find and the lock box was located on the outside of the door. Negative: The house had a home from home feel about it, which was perfect for our weekend stay. The location of the house was perfect, with a Sainsbury's and local independent shops on out doorstep. The house had everything we could possibly need and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were also well thought out and looked lovely. The beds were also very comfortable. We attend with our dog for the weekend and he was also made very welcome as the hosts left towels, poo bags and dog biscuits for us to use for him. Thanks for the use of Station View and for the chocolate and jam left for us.

Great few days in Saltburn and the weather wasnt too bad either. Went to Whitby on the bus one day. Positive: Great location. Travelled by train but a pity we couldnt get access until 4pm as had to wander around with suitcase. I did request early access but was told not possible! If we stayed again would check later trains but we booked cheapest available thinking we could get in at 2pm. Negative: One evening neighbour was hammering/drilling until after we had gone to bed. Presume this would not be problem once their works had finished

All in all we enjoyed our stay Positive: location was good Negative: by talking to people about our check in time. Which I had confirmation via message that we would be able to get into the property at 2pm. To find the property had been left by the previous customer with bathroom towels on the floor the kitchen bin was overflowing bottles left in the kitchen. beds just left as they had got out of them. Not a good greeting. To cut long story short left our cases and phoned Host and Stay and was sorted later on.

Lovely comfortable stay at Station View - would highly recommend. Positive: Location was very good and is an excellent position for visitors to stay for access to the town, beach and the train station. Lots of nice places to eat here and was nice to try out Betty's Bagels which I'd been following on social media. We have family in Saltburn so needed a place to stay for a wedding we were attending. The house was well equipped and clean. Beds were comfy and we had a lovely welcome gift which was much appreciated, thank you. Negative: I can't think of anything I didn't like. If I had to say anything, maybe the cushions on the sofa might need to be changed as they seem to be well used. Just a thought. Also, we much appreciated the supply of tea, coffee and sugar but maybe a pint of milk would be a nice touch for future guests. We just had to nip out for milk after arriving to make a cuppa.

Fabulous location in Saltburn and just as described

We had a great time in Saltburn and the dogs love the beach. Positive: It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The property is in a perfect location close to the station and the town.

This property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The welcome treats were much appreciated as well. It was perfect for the two of us and our small dog but it might be a bit small for 3 or more adults.The location was wonderful, within walking distance of shops, bars restaurants and the beach. We did have an issue with lots of noise from the neighbour who appeared to be doing some building work during our first 2 evenings but appreciate this was probably a one off. We didn't use the parking space as we got a spot right outside the door and didn't use the car during our stay. We really loved this property and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We had three nights and it was good nice clean and tidy with all you needed. Would we go again YES No noise from the trains and right opposite a supermarket and places to eat and drink. 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏😃😃🥂🥂🥂

Really enjoyed the property and plan to visit again, hosts left a lovely arrival gift of a local sponge cake and home made jam. 5 minute walk from the sea front and really convenient locality with shops, restaurants and coffee shops etc.

Had an excellent time with the family at the property. Only 10 minutes to the beach and close to plenty of places to eat and shop. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Station View Positive: The ideal location, close to all amenities. Liked the fact the accommodation had both a power shower as well as a bath. Negative: The bars in the area can get a bit too rowdy on a Friday and Saturday. Could have done with a washing line to hang washing up outside. There was a clothes airer, but when there are 4 people sometimes it isn't enough.

What a beautiful little gem in the very centre of Saltburn. The house was clean, tidy and stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The little added extras of chocolate and homemade jam just made it even better. Would absolutely stay here again.

A little gem Positive: First impressions were brilliant: spotlessly clean and tidy, with such a warm welcome – homemade cake and jam, plus tea, coffee, milk and sugar all ready to go. Such lovely thoughtful touches! The house is immaculate: bright, airy and spacious, yet feels really cosy and comfortable. Every room has everything you could need – the lounge, bedrooms, and especially the kitchen, which is fully stocked with all utensils and appliances. The bathroom is a real highlight! My partner loves a good bath, and the shower was powerful and perfectly set up – a total delight. We also loved the private courtyard garden: comfortable seating under a large parasol, ideal for relaxing with a cuppa in the fresh air. The electronic guide is fantastic – well laid out and packed with useful local tips and information. Location-wise, it’s perfect: shops, cafes and amenities are literally just steps away. Honestly, there’s almost nothing to criticise – it’s pretty much perfect. Negative: Nothing at all

We had a fabulous time, weather was perfect if not a little too hot! Positive: Very clean, well equipped and in a perfect location. Accepts pets so our dogs can enjoy a holiday too. Negative: Nothing.

Such a great location for dog walking and easy access to the dog friendly beach. Lots of cafes and eating places within walking distance also dog friendly. The train service such a great bonus right outside the door for getting further afield. You don't notice the half hourly trains from inside station view. Great bus service to Staithes which takes 35 minutes (need to be fairly fit to walk back up the hill as no cars beyond the car park at the top of the hill if you're travelling by car. We'll definitely be back.

We have stayed in lots holiday accommodation over the years, Station Square is the best we have ever stayed in every thing is on the doorstep, train station across the road, shops cafes and restaurants two minutes away and beach is five minutes away, what more could anyone want, Thank you.

We had a lovely time at station view! With cakes and jam as a little present when we arrived. The house was spotless and in an amazing location for walks round the town and across the front. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the weather but that can’t be helped in the uk!

Station View was in the perfect location to access all Saltburn by Sea had to offer. The interior was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a really lovely stay as a family of four. The homemade jam and cake on arrival was a lovely touch. Really comfortable, clean and well thought out. Thank you.

Our go-to place to stay in Saltburn. Positive: Ideally placed opposite the rail station and very close to shops and restaurants. Have stayed here before and likely to again. Saltburn is very nice and also handy for other places along the coast between Middlesbrough and Whitby by bus or car. Train connections via Middlesbrough or Thornaby. Negative: A bit late receiving the keybox code owing to patchy mobile connection. Took a few attempts. Once in, all was fine. This time we paid the compulsory breakage/ damage insurance up front as part of the price, which was better than last time when this was an unexpected surcharge.

We love Saltburn & have stayed in the area many times, This is the first time we have stayed at Station View & we will definitely stay again. The house was immaculate, very comfy beds, all you could need in the kitchen, outside space with seating, parking for a small car & with able on street parking available, perfectly located opposite the station & near to shops, restaurants & short walk to the beach. Hosts went above & beyond with a lovely note & gift of a amazing cake & jam. We would highly recommend staying here & we will definitely stay again Thank you 😊

Positive: Perfect location. Lovely house, very clean and comfortable. Private car parking space, although quite small space. Paved back garden with table and chairs. Loved the hanging/shelving units in bedrooms. Beautiful bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Comfy bed. Within walking distance to beach, funicular and Valley Gardens. Train station and Sainsbury's just across the road. We would definitely stay again. Negative: Only one toilet roll and very little in toiletries and basics like salt, sauces etc but not really a problem because Sainsbury's store just across the road. A few pots with flowers would have looked good in the back garden which was all paved.

Ideal location for travelling to busier resorts -Redcar, Whitby - without the crowds

Station view Saltburn. Positive: The location in Saltburn was excellent, very central and close to all amenities, railway station and Sainsbrys opposite the property. Negative: We found the property to be smaller than it appeared in the photos. The kitchen looked new, with all modern units; however, we felt that the table and chairs in the kitchen were a tight fit, making it difficult to access the back of the property. We believe that placing the dining table and chairs in the lounge, alongside just a sofa and a small chair, might be a better arrangement. Although the sofa was well-used and comfortable, we found it too low and struggled to get up from it. The bedrooms were very well decorated and adequately suited for our stay. The bathroom was clean, and both the bath and shower worked well. The only downside we experienced was the noisy boiler and toilet system. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay.

Perfect property in a great location Positive: Station View was perfect for our short break in Saltburn. The property was spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The location is great - central in the town and only a short walk to the beach. I was initially a bit concerned about how close it was to the station and whether it would be noisy, but we didn't hear anything at all. I would highly recommend Station View, and we would definitely book again.

It was a great weekend helped by the quality of the accommodation Positive: Excellent position in the centre of Saltburn . The cottage was modern and clean with great shower and bath facilities. The only thing is the pillows could be a little better but minor issue

A house that is perfect for 4; whether for a short or long stay. All you need in the house, parking and an enclosed back patio with seating. A great spot! Thank you for letting us stay there - we'll be back!

Brilliant location lovely place will be back

Business like accomodation with great location, we ate out every night of our 3, so cannot comment on facilities, but kitchen can be a squeeze with table, plus beyond the size of a fiesta or smaller, the offroad parking not an option, so you have to take your chances with parking spaces out front. Big plus is having Coco & Rum (Thai) next door, also the Ship Inn & Seaview restaurant nearby, all very reasonable. We travel extensively around the UK, so have experienced a lot, we found the constant marketing of this facility a chore, but otherwise functional

Home from home at Saltburn by the Sea Positive: The house was very homely and the interior was a high standard. It was very clean and the beds were very comfy. Parking was easy and the location was good for shops and eateries. The rail station was opposite but the house was quiet and the area was peaceful. It was nice to be able to walk to the Promenade and beach where the views were amazing. Negative: There wasn't anything to dislike.
