The best weekend ever! We achieved what we wanted to do at this place and that was to relax and connect with nature. Perfect if you want to bond and spend quality time with your family. I will come back again! Thank you for your warm welcome and friendly words for when we settled in.

Had a fabulous 3 day stay here and couldn’t have asked for a better time. There were 6 of us, 2 adults and 4 children and they had the best time ever in and out the hot tub and lounging around the big open plan kitchen/living room. The chalet was lovely and clean on arrival with towels and dressing gowns for each person. Had to communicate with the hosts a couple of times and they always got back to us and were so helpful. Would definitely re book and recommend to family and friends.

The lodge was a great size, with plenty of room, great surroundings, very quiet and easy to find. Beds were very comfy and clean. Didn’t feel overlooked. Great for families.

Beautiful lodge, immaculate, lots of robes and towels available, great scenery, had an issue with the lock and someone was there to fix it within 30mins couldn’t speak any higher of the place will definitely be returning!! Thanks again for an amazing break with family

Me and 6 friends celebrated my Birthday here for the weekend. Gorgeous views, clean, tidy but we did have a slight issue regarding toilet roll. We had 2 rolls to last the weekend between 7 of us. Luckily a friend drove so she was able to nip out and get some. We could have done with 1 extra. Not ideal but it is what it is. Other than that the place was spot on. Views were amazing. The ducks were always over saying hello 😊 Hot tub was a bonus! Thank you for a lovely weekend. I’d definitely book again (and bring a spare loo roll next time) 😂

Very peaceful stay

Great location, very spacious lodge. Reasonably clean, just a couple of little clean issues, but nothing we couldn’t sort and it did not spoil our stay at all. Bedding and towels were fresh and clean. Bonus of the dressing gowns for everyone. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of comfortable seating in the lounge area and large dining areas inside and out on the huge wrap around decking. Secure gated decking, which is great for little ones and pets. Kitchen is well equipped. Hot tub was fabulous and the kids and grown ups thoroughly enjoyed our time in there. Grounds and surroundings were perfect and felt very safe for the children to play. Over looking little lake, and beautiful views. Lovely little park on site too. I would definitely recommend and return I’d recommend taking your own tea, coffee etc, toiletries (obviously) and a couple of bin liners if you plan to eat in, which we did. We liked everything, a nice house, a jacuzzi, a wonderful place to relax, but I would like to have tea and coffee, because in the morning I want to drink a cup of aromatic coffee or tea and admire the views, but in our case we had to go buy coffee, and there was also no sponge for washing dishes and there were only two garbage bags, I would like more bags.

Our party of 6 stayed here for the weekend as we had a darts competition. The place was amazing. Great location, hosts made sure everything was ok throughout our stay and were happy to help with anything we needed . Will definitely be returning for future events

Me and my friends stayed here for the weekend for my birthday and we couldn’t have had a better time. Check in was very simple and the lodge was lovely, clean and extremely spacious. We made good use of the hot tub which was huge and we appreciated the robes provided. It was in such a beautiful location with a view of Roseberry topping and plenty of nice walks in the area. Plenty of space for parking too. The only thing we thought could have been better was the road leading to the lodges had a lot of potholes and could have done with being filled in especially driving a small car but everything else was perfect. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family!

We had a nice peaceful and relaxing few days, the lodge was spotlessly clean and tidy, modern decor and had lovely views of the lake and countryside. The host was very responsive when we called with a few problems we had. There is a play area for children and a dog play area as well. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and were lucky enough to be next to the sauna so we didn’t have to go far to get there in the dressing gowns provided. When we booked via air BnB it was advertised with an air fryer and a coffee machine however we were informed by the host that the site in which this lodge is on is currently going through a change of ownership and a refurbishment. We were not made aware of this when we booked. There were plenty of cups, plates, glasses, cutlery etc but there was a shortage of things like serving dishes, mixing bowls etc and instructions for the appliances. You should also be aware that the main bathroom does not have a shower, the only shower is in the en-suite bathroom

Really nice clean cabin. Comfy beds. Good location. Hot tub was nice. It may have been better if there was some staff on site to resolve any queries. We didn’t see anyone all weekend and weren’t able to check out at reception as there wasn’t anyone there. Although it was lovely, we felt a few finishing touches were missing for the price like a tea and coffee welcome pack and some basic toiletries in the bathroom.

lovely lodge, we really enjoyed our trip. a great location for a base, from here we visited Whitby and York. We were just slightly disappointed as there was put up beds in the office room. Unfortunately these could not be removed which meant this room was unusable.

Beautiful place and surroundings. Nice and clean. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely accommodation in a secluded area. Minor points, no tea or coffee or any welcome pack but it’s a business not private. Only one tea towel and minimal cleaning stuff, no washing up liquid. Hot tub and sauna great, communication outstanding.
