Stayed for Christmas with all the family, great to have all en-suite rooms, plentiful kitchen.\n\nSetting is lovely with nice views from each room over the countryside.\n\nNice farm shop up the road, lots of supermarkets 20min drive away in Buxton + grocery delivery available which we organised.

We stayed there with 5 children for day trips to Alton towers. It had enough room for us all, easy drive to the theme park, great amenities, beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It fit our group well and had enough space for everyone to hang out without feeling like we were on top of each other. There was an issue with the heat not working when we came back from a day out and no one came to fix it until the next day which made for a very cold night and morning as well as very cold showers. Other than that we enjoyed our time here.

It was a fantastic stay at Staffordshire Knot in Sheen. The place is a cute village cottage that has a newly refurbished, well decorated interior. The rooms are spacious and very well cleaned, with all the amenities needed, like hair dryer, cutlery, coffee, tea. It’s very well equipped for 5 to 8 people and we are definitely coming again when we go to Peak District next time.

Fabulous place to stay in the heart of the Peak District! We met friends here for a walking holiday and it was great. The airbnb was extremely comfortable, spacious and enjoyable to stay in with stunning views all around. We especially liked the environmentally friendly bathroom supplies! Excellent value for money, would recommend to everyone!

Positive: Great location, lovely venue, great for work discussions and socialising in the evening! Very well presented inside and plenty of parking. Table and benches inside was great for board games in the evening. Negative: Kitchen door let in a lot of wind and noise as it was Ill fitting in the door frame, other than that it was great. Would benefit from some benches outside so you can sit out and enjoy the views or even a BBQ would be nice.

A lovely private and peaceful place, was perfect for our little group to get away chill and also go and explore/ walk some of the trails near the peak district, we will definitely be rebooking and 100% recommend.

The property is a lovely, spacious place in a beautiful location. We had two adults and six teens or children and had plenty of space for us all. Bedrooms are large with ensuites in all but one, but the main bathroom is also massive and there is a further separate toilet too. The house had everything we needed. There are local walks around the village and also the sun sets behind the house so you get amazing views over the fields, and even inside from the lounge. Hartington is close for more walks and farm shops/pubs etc. We were really pleased with our stay. Check in was easy, plenty of parking and a really beautiful property so we would definitely recommend it (and we would happily return).

The Staffordshire Knot has been refurbished immaculately to create a modern and comfortable space with all facilities. The location is quiet with fantastic views and 5 minutes from lovely Hartington.

Really lovely spacious property. Beds were comfy. Loads of seating. lovely views. Kitchen well equipped (pair of kitchen tongs would have been good though). Large fridge a bit strange but I think it was because we had a tray of pepsi against the back so the fridge wasn't cold enough and the bottom part was actually warm. The other fridge was fine though and when we moved the cans the situation righted itself. Nice pub down the road (Manifold Inn) did a good breakfast but booking advised for evening meal. Hartington a short drive Devonshire Arms nice place to eat. Hartington Spice not so good ,food was really salty and service bad. Lovely place to stay though would definitely recommend.

Comfortable beautiful countryside setting

It was a great place to stay, we spent the weekend bouldering in the peaks and this place was ideally located. Good amount of space, plenty of parking and more than enough bathrooms!

We recently stayed at Staffordshire Knot Airbnb while visiting Alton Towers and honestly the property was exceptional. The views and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful and made for such a relaxing stay. Me and my family loved every minute of it. The location was perfect for Alton Towers and far more enjoyable and better value than staying at the overpriced on-site hotels. The property itself was clean, comfortable, modern, and had everything we needed for a family stay. We’ll definitely be back again in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great access to Alton Towers and the surrounding area.

This property was ideal for our party of 8. It was clean with 4 nicely furnished bedrooms, 2 en-suite and the other 2 right beside bath/shower rooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor while the rest of the property is upstairs so would not be suitable for someone with mobility problems. The kitchen is well equipped to a high standard and there is lots of parking space. We would happily stay again at the Staffordshire Knot.

Set in peaceful residential area. Beautiful views. Good for walking, cycling. No outside seating or play area for children. Stylish & spacious accommodation. 4 double bedrooms; comfortable beds, 4 bathrooms. One bedroom+en suite downstairs. Other 3 upstairs, off the living room. Bathrooms - some toiletries & good towels. Toilet just inside entry. Space for shoes & coats near front door. Large living area with comfy sofas. Dining table with bench seating. TV only works with Apps. WiFi very good. Kitchen large & well equipped:two fridges, plentiful crockery & pans & 2 tea towels. Some milk sachets, tea & coffee are provided as a welcome pack. Dishwasher tabs & washing up liquid are supplied. Fire escape from kitchen to car park. Historic Hartington is about ten minutes drive: beautiful; super farm shop with a cafe for brunch & lunch, sells local produce. Pub good for dinner. Broken floor surface & ceiling flaking were brought to the attention of the owner who promised to fix asap.

Unexceptable standard of cleaning, dirty linen and hazardous loose flooring! Positive: Location Negative: From moment we arrived; 1.Bed configuration wrong 2. Brother with MS had full stairs to tackle despite being informed previously only a few steps 3. Loose flooring so bad was a hazard and health & safety issue. One member slipped on loose flooring exposing extent of how bad it was! 4. Cleanliness was sub standard so much so that bed linen left on dirty, cobwebs and excessive dust in all bedrooms, smeary marks and glass ring marks on all side tables and bedside tables. Dirty face mask left thrown in corner of one bedroom 5. Made complaint straight away and no response until 10.45pm.......too late to remedy anything that night. 6. Trip was 26 - 29/3 and still waiting our refund......Unexceptable treatment.

Absolutely lovely space with lots of room. All messages were replied to quickly, can’t fault my stay. Would highly recommend!

The property was easy to find and had a pleasant atmosphere, which made check-in simple and convenient. However, I did feel that it wasn’t quite worth the price. The floor was quite uneven, and there were a number of dead flies in the kitchen when I arrived. It also would have been helpful to have a few more cleaning supplies available for checkout. With a bit more attention to maintenance and other little things, it could be a really lovely place to stay. Apart from that it was nice with many little villages and towns nearby, probably best to bring your own food as there’s not many takeaways nearby

Positive: Lovely clean and comfortable flat. Well equipped. Serving dishes might have been an extra little luxury but more than enough plates cups and glasses so didn't have to keep washing up. Negative: Directions and the pin point in particular was out by about 50 to 100m. Not a large amount but three of us had gone up neighbours drives in the dark. What three words would be useful.

We had a lovely time here, and thank you so much for being flexible with our check-in time, it made such a difference for our time! the place is spacious, clean and the views out of both sides were simple stunning. we were pleasantly surprised to find out how quiet it is both day and night - no traffic noise for snoozes!

Excellent stay, really nice accommodation and great staff. Positive: Spacious, great facilities and clean. Nice decor. Negative: Only VERY minor stuff. Could have done with a little more disposables like kitchen foil. Not clear where to put rubbish/recycling. Postcode didn’t get us to the place but we found it easily enough. Maybe some guidance about walks in the area and local taxi options. Just needs some research though.

The place was great, and the host was extremely communicative answering any questions we had during our stay. Great parking and location too - would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This place was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable. Everything worked except for the fire escape, which fortunately and predictably we didn't need. Host communications were great and the issue was due to be resolved 9am Monday - we left Sunday morning. A later checkout time would have been nice, but it wasn't available operationally. Can't ask for anything more. A very positive experience.

Amazing experience here! Very clean and comfortable! Plenty of space and lots of useful items such as a kitchen with all the equipment needed to cook a dish. Beautiful location too! One of the best places I've stayed for a while! I'm still amazed about how comfy the beds were. You can really tell they take pride in this property and presenting it to guests. The hosts were useful, professional and quick to respond to any question. Thank you again for a great stay! Looking forward to coming again someday!

Nice place which was recently refurbished to good standard. There are some small issues such as the kitchen door cannot be opened using the key provided and non-working towel rail etc. Also there were some hot water and fire alarm issues, which were sorted out quickly. Overall, a nice place to stay with Charlie's place.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with all the facilities you could need for a comfortable visit. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and very well set up. The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, one thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit remote — we weren’t able to get any Ubers in the area, so having your own car is a must if you plan on doing any sightseeing. Other than that, everything was great. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable stay.

Really lovely place to stay. Loved the fact that it use to be a pub. The views out the back are stunning. The bedrooms were great and had really comfortable beds. Great location and close to Hartingdon (a lovely little village) and Buxton aswell should you wish for bigger supermarkets. We loved it!

Beautiful home and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would come back in a heartbeat. The host was super responsive and attentive. The house is kitted out with everything you can need and is as beautiful inside as well as having fabulous views. Thank you for having us!
