Stayed for Christmas with all the family, great to have all en-suite rooms, plentiful kitchen.\n\nSetting is lovely with nice views from each room over the countryside.\n\nNice farm shop up the road, lots of supermarkets 20min drive away in Buxton + grocery delivery available which we organised.

We stayed there with 5 children for day trips to Alton towers. It had enough room for us all, easy drive to the theme park, great amenities, beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It fit our group well and had enough space for everyone to hang out without feeling like we were on top of each other. There was an issue with the heat not working when we came back from a day out and no one came to fix it until the next day which made for a very cold night and morning as well as very cold showers. Other than that we enjoyed our time here.

It was a fantastic stay at Staffordshire Knot in Sheen. The place is a cute village cottage that has a newly refurbished, well decorated interior. The rooms are spacious and very well cleaned, with all the amenities needed, like hair dryer, cutlery, coffee, tea. It’s very well equipped for 5 to 8 people and we are definitely coming again when we go to Peak District next time.

Fabulous place to stay in the heart of the Peak District! We met friends here for a walking holiday and it was great. The airbnb was extremely comfortable, spacious and enjoyable to stay in with stunning views all around. We especially liked the environmentally friendly bathroom supplies! Excellent value for money, would recommend to everyone!

Positive: Great location, lovely venue, great for work discussions and socialising in the evening! Very well presented inside and plenty of parking. Table and benches inside was great for board games in the evening. Negative: Kitchen door let in a lot of wind and noise as it was Ill fitting in the door frame, other than that it was great. Would benefit from some benches outside so you can sit out and enjoy the views or even a BBQ would be nice.

Brilliant base for exploring the Peaks plus a spacious accommodation with good facilities.

Absolutely lovely space with lots of room. All messages were replied to quickly, can’t fault my stay. Would highly recommend!

The property was easy to find and had a pleasant atmosphere, which made check-in simple and convenient. However, I did feel that it wasn’t quite worth the price. The floor was quite uneven, and there were a number of dead flies in the kitchen when I arrived. It also would have been helpful to have a few more cleaning supplies available for checkout. With a bit more attention to maintenance and other little things, it could be a really lovely place to stay. Apart from that it was nice with many little villages and towns nearby, probably best to bring your own food as there’s not many takeaways nearby

Positive: Lovely clean and comfortable flat. Well equipped. Serving dishes might have been an extra little luxury but more than enough plates cups and glasses so didn't have to keep washing up. Negative: Directions and the pin point in particular was out by about 50 to 100m. Not a large amount but three of us had gone up neighbours drives in the dark. What three words would be useful.

We had a lovely time here, and thank you so much for being flexible with our check-in time, it made such a difference for our time! the place is spacious, clean and the views out of both sides were simple stunning. we were pleasantly surprised to find out how quiet it is both day and night - no traffic noise for snoozes!

Excellent stay, really nice accommodation and great staff. Positive: Spacious, great facilities and clean. Nice decor. Negative: Only VERY minor stuff. Could have done with a little more disposables like kitchen foil. Not clear where to put rubbish/recycling. Postcode didn’t get us to the place but we found it easily enough. Maybe some guidance about walks in the area and local taxi options. Just needs some research though.

The place was great, and the host was extremely communicative answering any questions we had during our stay. Great parking and location too - would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This place was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable. Everything worked except for the fire escape, which fortunately and predictably we didn't need. Host communications were great and the issue was due to be resolved 9am Monday - we left Sunday morning. A later checkout time would have been nice, but it wasn't available operationally. Can't ask for anything more. A very positive experience.

Amazing experience here! Very clean and comfortable! Plenty of space and lots of useful items such as a kitchen with all the equipment needed to cook a dish. Beautiful location too! One of the best places I've stayed for a while! I'm still amazed about how comfy the beds were. You can really tell they take pride in this property and presenting it to guests. The hosts were useful, professional and quick to respond to any question. Thank you again for a great stay! Looking forward to coming again someday!

Nice place which was recently refurbished to good standard. There are some small issues such as the kitchen door cannot be opened using the key provided and non-working towel rail etc. Also there were some hot water and fire alarm issues, which were sorted out quickly. Overall, a nice place to stay with Charlie's place.

Lovely, large and spacious accommodation. Set in countryside with cows as neighbours. Accommodation as described with all amenities provided and modern furnishings. Ideal for trip to Alton Towers or exploring the local countryside

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with all the facilities you could need for a comfortable visit. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and very well set up. The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, one thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit remote — we weren’t able to get any Ubers in the area, so having your own car is a must if you plan on doing any sightseeing. Other than that, everything was great. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable stay.

Really lovely place to stay. Loved the fact that it use to be a pub. The views out the back are stunning. The bedrooms were great and had really comfortable beds. Great location and close to Hartingdon (a lovely little village) and Buxton aswell should you wish for bigger supermarkets. We loved it!

Beautiful home and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would come back in a heartbeat. The host was super responsive and attentive. The house is kitted out with everything you can need and is as beautiful inside as well as having fabulous views. Thank you for having us!
