The perfect cosy escape! Positive: Incredible place, great location, very cosy, great value Negative: Nothing

Profundamente decepcionada. No lo recomendaría. Positive: La ubicación es muy buena y la zona muy tranquila. Muy cerca hay un par de pubs y permite llegar fácilmente a todas partes. Negative: Escogimos el alojamiento sin leer las críticas y a posteriori las hemos leído y coincidimos plenamente en todas. 1. Las fotos son engañosas. El salón parece enorme así como la cocina y habitaciones y en realidad son minúsculas con muebles sacados del contenedor y desmesuradamente grandes para el espacio que hay. 2. Al abrir la puerta hay un fuerte a humedad. 3. Ojo con las escaleras. Personas con movilidad reducida, ancianos o/y niños pueden fácilmente tener un accidente. 4. El dueño no tiene la deferencia de enchufar el calentador antes para sus huéspedes con lo cual el primer día no te puedes duchar pues no sale agua ninguna. 5. El responsable del alojamiento mantiene una actitud fría y distante con los clientes. Cuando contactas con él adopta un tono sarcástico y no gestiona nada. En resumen, leed las críticas del alojamiento antes de reservar. Yo personalmente no os lo recomiendo.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Music Room. However we do have a few suggestions that would enhance the experience for any future guests. We felt some more kitchen utensils would greatly facilitate cooking , things like small saucepans , a milk saucepan, , a pudding basin, wooden spoons etc. We really missed the convenience of a microwave but we thought perhaps it was something that you as a family didn’t use. Anyway…. we had an absolutely wonderful stay and would be only too pleased to come back. Thank you for everything and also being so flexible. Bob and Margaret.

This accommodation is perfect for anyone wanting to visit the city center; the kitchen is well-equipped and the beds are very comfortable.

Located at a strategic location, walking distance to the city centre. The host was nice and very accommodating to my request.

We had a lovely 2-night stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The host was friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our time here. With a few small touches, it could be an even better experience. We would happily stay again.

Prima huis op een mooie locatie dichtbij het centrum. De auto konden we gratis vlakbij parkeren. Canterbury ontdekten we te voet. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien, prima voor ons gezin van vier. Op kruipafstand van de 14de eeuwse pub ‘The Parrot’ :-)

Basic, but with significant charm and ideally located, the cottage was exactly what we expected. I think - for a visit to Canterbury - you'd be hard pushed to find a better location! Recommended.

Lovely cottage in a great area, peaceful but an easy walk into town and plenty even closer by too.

I'm sorry to be so negative as have been pleased with your property in the past.Plus points. Beds clean and comfortable and location perfect But door lock didn't close properly, the shower leaked and and most importantly for us the t.v would not tune in to the wifi Apart from the bathroom, it needed dusting and I feel there should be a warning about the stairs being so steep and dangerous though I appreciate it is a period property.I hope I have a better experience in September.

Poor value, no wifi, uncomfortable beds and chairs, ground floor damp and musty Positive: Location good Negative: Key safe was in an obscure location around 2 meters from front door. The property was advertised as ST Radigunds House, and we looked for that, but there was no notice by the door that this was St Radigunds House. So house hard to find The Wifi didnt work at all, and the Host and Stay people's texts did not solve the connection problem Beds were very uncomfortable. It was damp and musty. Uncomfortable chairs. Lighting too dim to read by

Worst trap of my life! Negative: The owner doesn’t answer, no assistance! When I arrived, he gave me 5 wrong safe codes to remove the keys, I was outside practically all day! It was cold and raining, he didn’t send anyone to help me, the codes didn’t open the safe, I was able to get into the house at 21:00 at night and I only got it because a friend of mine called the owner several times insisting! For the escort girls: run from this place! Hole! The owner has the habit of renting and calling the police, my friend was deported!

Fede mofo Positive: I honestly didn't like ANYTHING about it. This house is horrible, it smells musty, and you can't stay inside it. The movies are very old, and the living room window doesn't open. I booked for five days but couldn't stay even two nights. My sinusitis got worse, my throat became inflamed, and I had to find a hotel. On top of all that, I lost my money on a crappy house like that, even though they knew about the problem, they didn't want to refund me the rest of the daily rate... Be careful, this house is a trap. Hosts should to clean out the garbage and wash down the outside backyard alcove before next guests arrive. They also have instructions for leaving garbage to be picked up by the town, but I believe the information is outdated.

I had a wonderful stay at Dale’s place in Canterbury! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything I needed for a relaxing visit, and the location was nice and quiet, yet close to all the local attractions. Dale was a great host: friendly, responsive, and very helpful with local recommendations. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The property is a good size and situated in a very desirable location. However, the ground floor has an unbearably strong odour, the front door is not particularly secure due to a temperamental night latch lock, and the advertised free parking resulted in a fine, as the provided permit was invalid.

Beautiful decor but the furniture wasn’t the most comfortable. Was an amazing location with walking distance to almost every but there was not noisy. The kitchen appliances were slightly dirty and dusty and the cutlery had to be re washed.

Lovely cottage but has issues. From previous reviews it’s clear Host and Stay aren’t interested in elevating this from an OK place to stay to a great one plus they charge an extra insurance fee. They gave no check in info re parking and no response to our messages. Once we were inside we found a parking permit and some deduction worked out it was for behind the houses opposite, which itself has confusing signage. The lock on the bedroom window is broken so the property is never secure! Bedroom blind was broken and held open by a cocktail stick! Although it was ineffective when we did get it closed. Blind in lounge was broken though we fixed it easily. Lounge was very dusty above and below eye level and had a lingering musty/damp smell. Furniture is very uncomfortable so don’t expect to cosy up in the evening! Beds are uncomfortable too so no respite! Rope rail to loft room was broken so the stairs are dangerous. Rubbish left overflowing in courtyard. Shower was good. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay at 6 Duck lane however it wasn’t without flaws. At arrival we noticed the bathroom tab was leaking and although someone came to have a look quickly the problem didn’t get fixed and we cldnt use sink and washing machine for the time we were there. Also what wasn’t mentioned in the ad is the extra payment you have to make for insurance for breakages. This is after payment for accomodation had been made and confirmation was send. This didn’t seem appropriate so we contacted Airbnb. They advised us not to pay as it’s against their rules of charging money after complete payment had been made. However Host and Stay wouldn’t give us the details to enter the accomodation until we made arrangements for this so called insurance.

Positive: Location. Bedroom was fine Clean Negative: Lots! Car park pass but no indication of which car park it related to so wasted loads of time working that out. Rang host and stay - they were supposed to fey back to us and didn't. Lounge was dark and smell musty. Uncomfortable seating so did not want to spend time in the house. Stairs really steep! No hot water to bathroom sink. If you plug in the heater under the sink, water leaks all over the floor. Was clean but felt like it had been done on the cheap

Absolutely great customer service and satisfaction. Quick and positive response always. Almost 24/7 customer service. Responsive and helpful and respectful staff. They do their job promptly without your asking, and they check up on you regularly. Thank you, Host and Stay! It was amazing dealing with you.

Positive: Skvělé místo, klidná a autentická destinace. Bezproblémové ubytování a fungování. Když odladíte všechny nejasnosti fane tím, že vám pokoj nikdo nepředá, docela to ujde. Rozhodně je to ale spíš na přespávání než na plnohodnotný pobyt a bydlení. Negative: Nejasnosti kolem parkování. Při příjezdu nevyvětráno a nevytopeno. Nekomfortní vybavení (chybí gauč, nečistá konvice, výhled do dvorku, kde byl příšerný nepořádek...). Průtokový ohřívač vody v koupelně funguje zvláštně. Možná by bylo potřeba, aby nám to někdo ukázal a vše by mohlo běžet hned a lépe a na první dobrou. Takhle je první dojem rozpačitý. Ale postupně se dost vylepšil.

Perfect location in Canterbury, easy walk into the middle of the city, and convenient for a few good pubs/restaurants when you didn't want to. Furniture is a little unconfy if you want to laze around as it is a little old fashioned and formal. You need to be mobile to use the second bedroom as it is a very steep climb up there, but it is fun if you can. Heating is a bit odd and I'm not sure it would be too good in the middle of winter but any other time of year is fine.
