Beautiful location just about justifies the price. Positive: Unbeatable location No extra charge for dogs which is refreshing. Negative: Tired decor. No damp smell any more as per previous reviews as the dehumidifier has done its work well. However there were a few damp patches, such as by the front door and bizarrely under the sofa! Some of the glasses and crockery clearly hadn’t been cleaned from last visitors. They still haven’t fixed the trip hazard of the rug in the main room.

Loved our stay the appartment was exactly as described and contained everything and more for a great stay. Yes the bathroom is a little dated but the water and shower was warm and clean. The location is priceless 20 yards from a beautiful beach and the same distance from a local pub with terrific food and micro brewery. The dog loved the beach and miles of unspoiled scenery I loved the pubs we all loved our stay thanks see you again very soon 😀

The beach close-by is stunning. The flat had what we needed and was as described. The host was very responsive and helpful. Improvements could be made regarding instructions for the heating. There was no mention of the thermostat in the property, which was crucial to being able to control the heating. Other people have mentioned the trip hazard of the rug in the main room. And there are two torches by the back door, which is a great idea but they did not work. However, we enjoyed our two nights there and the surrounding area was definitely worth visiting.

The location is fantastic - Low Newton is gorgeous - the property is so close to the pub and the beach. The property was roughly as described but we did have some problems. There was a lot of black mould in the bathroom and also on many of the walls in the property, which were damp to the touch. I’m not sure whether it had been empty for a while before we got there, but once we got the heating on it felt less cold and damp. We had a problem with the electricity which went off while we were there – the neighbouring properties all had their electricity on sonot sure what happened that it came back on by itself fortunately. The kitchen and the bathroom could both do with an upgrade, taps in the bedroom weren’t working properly so we couldn’t use that sink, so the description of modern kitchen and bathroom were inaccurate. Overall, I wouldn’t book this property again but if you are not too bothered about the quality of the property and more concerned with their location then book.

The carpet edge was a potential hazard . There is black mold in the bathroom both bedrooms and the living room . The freezer wasn’t working . The bin under the sink was broken . None of the taps functioned properly. The blind in the master bedroom was broken . The underfloor heating in the bathroom didn’t work . The heating system was hit and miss and the heaters were rusty . Apart from that the apartment was cozy and area stunning .

Lovely little hide away, with a superber location. The living area was very cute and cozy. Bathroom and bedrooms could do with being refurbished. But I would return again.

Relaxing and de-stressing Positive: Self catering facilities very good Negative: For a longer stay, small deep freeze would be helpful. A bit confused about recycling - not sure where to deposit empty bottles or waste food. Small criticism ; main carpet corner kept rolling up and could be a trip hazard.
