Host & Stay | South Riggs — Guest Reviews

We had a great stay at this property while working locally. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything we needed for a longer work stay. Communication with the host was excellent throughout, and check-in/check-out was straightforward. The location was ideal for our work and we would happily stay here again.

We were in Bedlington for a family gathering and the house was a perfect base. It was exactly as described with lovely decor and fittings and it had everything we needed for our stay. The information pack and general guidance was really helpful, I made use of the work/office area and everything worked perfectly. We'll definitely be back to stay soon.

This is a lovely home away from home. It had great remote working facilities and it was close to a street of shops and restaurants with everything you'd need. The house was immaculate, everything was new.

Stunning check in and definite value for money. Check in was easy and communication was great. Would highly recommend

Enjoyed the property, good value for money, would come back again. Positive: The house was clean, tidy and well presented. Negative: Winter quilts in the summer.

Positive: As soon as we arrived there were Christmas decorations all over the house with little candy canes. The kitchen and the entire house work cozy and fully equipped could not have asked for a better place. Very welcoming. Negative: Initially it was difficult to understand how the waste system worked but, after a couple of messages with the staff it became clear. Also, that was the issue of Christmas holidays which meant the collection wasn't done one week.

Lovely two bedroomed house in the surprisingly lovely Bedlington. Immaculately presented and thoroughly modernised. we would have stayed longer if it wasn't already booked. Lots of nice dog walking locally, dog friendly pubs in walking distance. Highly recommend.

Extremely comfortable, well appointed house. Loved the clear instructions for all the amenities. Well located for highlights of coastal and inland Northumberland. Within minutes walking to a wide choice of pubs and restaurants - recommend Ashianna highly. We had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, loved the atmosphere and charm. Area was good and handy to everything we needed Positive: Spacious, good location and comfortable Negative: Initial clean was okay thought it could have been a little better especially outside courtyard where it looked like it never had been cleaned

A lovely place to stay. The house is very nice, clean & in a quiet area. All things necessary are provided for your stay. The house is within a couple of minutes walking distance to the Main Street in Bedlington, with shops, bars & restaurants all local to the area. Would recommend to family & friends.

Positive: Very clean and had everything we needed

A fantastic location to visit places in the North East Coast. A lovely house with great facilities.

Stayed at this property for a family wedding. Central location for all our visits. Home from home really. Lovely furnishing, good kitchen pots and pans. Quiet location and close to local shops. Definite stay again.

Great communication from start to finish. Accommodation was well equipped, extremely clean and homely, very comfortable lounge and beds and easy to find with plenty of parking. Great instructions for how everything worked and we appreciated the tea and biscuits. We had a lovely stay, would highly recommend to others and would definitely stay again if in the area. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

A lovely property which is an excellent base to explore the stunning countryside and coast Positive: This is an excellent property, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Negative: The property is very well located for journeys by car, however the town of Bedlington has very little other than supermarkets.

Parfait ! Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir charger notre voiture électrique sur place.

Just lovely! Positive: Clean and bright, with lots of helpful notes about how to use different things

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at 9 South Riggs. The home was absolutely perfect — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with all the amenities we needed. It’s only a few minutes’ drive to the beach and just a short walk to the grocery shop, which was very convenient if you needed anything during your stay. The house was so peaceful and relaxing. The beautiful earthy tones created such a warm and calming atmosphere, and the little details throughout the home truly made a big difference. You can really feel the care and thought that went into making the space welcoming and comfortable. We would definitely recommend 9 South Riggs to anyone visiting Northumberland. It was a lovely place to stay, and we would happily come back again in the future.

South Riggs was a lovely house, me and my son stayed while moving house. Inside was beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest level. The area was very peaceful. The house had every facility that you would need on a short or long stay. I’d definitely visit again if needed and would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to visit the area or use as a base when exploring the Northumberland countryside and coastline

Beautiful place for a few nights away ,we loved it

Perfect place for our lodging during our UK tour. Positive: The house was very roomy, clean, modern kitchen. Loved having the washer/dryer combo. I didn't mind that the bathroom was on the lower level. Wifi was strong. Instructions and signs were very clear. I love having a French Press to make my coffee! Negative: Wish we could have been there in a season where we could enjoy the patio.

A really lovely house extremely well refurbished

Positive: Comfy beds Very clean xx Negative: Couldn't work the normal channels on the tv's

Never do I give something 10 out of 10 but this place, and its host absolurely smashed my expectations. The host was very helpful and supportive. The property was outstanding in every aspect. This was my first experience of an Airb&b and its a gem. I literally am unable to fault the place or the host.

Je slaapt boven maar er is geen toilet wat ik een groot nadeel vind. De EV lader viel telkens uit maar daar laten ze naar kijken en we krijgen daar ook een vergoeding voor. Verder alles prima in orde.
