Positive: Comfortable, Warm apartment with everything we needed for our stay. The area was very quiet with no disturbances. The green area across the road very convenient as we were travelling with dogs. Negative: Met all our expectations and more

Superb stay in Scarborough. Very clean, tidy and spacious for three of us and a dog. Fantastic view of the coast at the end of the road. Would highly recommend those that want to stay in North Yorkshire but just outside the main town itself in homely accommodation with all the amenities required.

A great stay overall, and we would definitely recommend the property. Positive: We loved the fact that the property was spacious, clean and in a fantastic location. There was parking all the time, literally right outside the door and it was free. We took our dog and had no problem walking her in the area, there was a garden opposite the property for quick morning and evening walks, and transport down to the beachfront if we wanted to take her down there for a nice long walk along the promenade. Negative: The only issue we had was a lack of hot water on one of the nights. Despite following the hosts written instructions on how to heat the boiler if required, it didn't seem to work and we ended up having cold showers which isn't great after a long day at the beach. It's understandable that water is on a timer due to energy savings, but it's worth bearing in mind that when people are on holiday they often need two showers a day after beach activities.

Great place to stay. Very dog friendly. Positive: The location & appartment were very good. Especially with having the dogs and being opposite a small park area & the beach. Negative: Having had a back or front garden in every place we bought it was odd being in an appaprtment. However that is being picky.

Excellent relaxing stay. The dog loved all the fuss from friendly folk she met at Scarborough. Positive: The location was superb with stunning sea view picturesque Esplanade walks. Walking distance to shops, cliff lift to beach and spa. Dog friendly cafes at North and south bays. Negative: The weather could have been better but with such comfortable accommodations it wasn’t a problem staying in We did have a slight problem entering the building the entrance door key didn’t always unlock the front door maybe needs adjustment.

Home from home with great quality facilities. Positive: Great size for the 3 of us and dog friendly. Really good kitchen and incorporated all the appliances needed for a self-catering holiday. Large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine made the stay really easy. Plenty of good quality crockery, cookware and cutlery. Handy printed tips and house requests dotted around the apartment helped to work out how to operate everything during our stay. Good quality cleaning equipment in the store cupboard. Plenty of clean and good quality towels. Comfortable furniture and great size beds. All in all, a great home from home. Negative: Perhaps a little short on luggage space, though that was not a real problem once we worked round it

Positive: Very tidy and clean. Everything you need for a short holiday is there. We loved the high ceiling as well. Very close to the beach. Quiet area. Staff were prompt to reply. Not really a concern but it'd be great to have a high chair for toddlers. Everything's perfect for us though. Negative: Nothing

Excellent property, location, and good for the family Positive: The layout, high ceilings, abundant natural light, proximity to the south bay, convenient parking, advanced tech, excellent kitchen appliances, and overall homely feel were great. Negative: There was no hot water during the day unless we used the boost function, which didn’t work despite following the instructions. After returning from the beach, we couldn’t have a hot shower. We contacted the staff, but their response was slow and they provided the same instructions we had already tried without success. While the damage cover is understandable, having to pay it again if you extend your stay by just one day feels like an opportunistic money-making ploy. Regarding the value of the stay the furnishings are basic, the pillows and quilts did not match the overall cost, the beds were uncomfortable, and there were not enough towels provided for a family of four.

Had a lovely break. I am one happy customer and my kids loved the apartment. Given a chance to visit Scarborough again, I would definitely stay here.

Lovely apartment in a great location Positive: Well-equipped and attractive apartment with clean and comfortable rooms. Great location for the south bay and funicular lift to the Spa. We appreciated the Christmas tree and card and treats left for us on arrival. Negative: It would be useful to have waste bins in the bedrooms. Two sets of keys instead of just one would be more convenient.

Nice enjoyable stay Positive: The location was great The accommodation was comfortable and Negative: A more flexible check in time We had an event to go to , so the regimented 4 o’clock check in time made this very stressful. Also having to pay a damage waiver , this should be made clear at the time of booking !!!

Great location but disappointed with lack of cleanliness. Wouldn’t stay again. Positive: Location for walking and parking available for our time of visit. Negative: Lack of cleanliness in bathroom, mouldy dirty grout in tiles surrounding shower, glass shower screen too.mouldy and black non slip bath mat needs bleaching and scrubbing or just purchase a new one! Hairs in bedroom drawers and a dirty comb left at the back in one! Bedroom roller blind came away from its fixings and contacted guest services to be informed that maintenance would visit that same day. They didn’t nor the next day either, again, as promised. Sofa smelt of stale sweat and body odours so that was unpleasant! Needs attention to detail. Common parts hallway before entering apartment stinks of hamsters or gerbils too!

Ideal for our stay, we will return! Positive: Such a lovely apartment with partial sea views. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and we appreciated the full sized fridge/freezer. Everything was spotless. We will definitely book again for our next trip to Scarborough. Negative: It's a shame that the main bed is only a double, not the best for hot nights. Also wish there had been a fan to use and the lounge got very warm and the blinds dont block out all of the sun.

Peaceful, comfortable and overall very happy. Positive: Beautiful apartment! Very clean, spacious and airy. The front room window is lovely and really enjoyed looking out on the morning while sitting in the lounge chair. Bed was very comfortable so had a great sleep. Would definitely recommend and will stay again! Location is great too, worth the money!

We had a lovely stay two night stay at this apartment in Scarborough. The location was great just off esplanade and only a short walk to the center. The neighbourhood was quiet, the apartment was spacious and well equipped. Parking was easy and the permits provided took all stress away. We had a memorable Easter trip at a good price and would recommend to others. Thanks again for a smooth experience.

What a wonderful apartment, was so warm and welcoming. Huge living space and such comfortable beds, we felt right at home. The entire apartment was spotless and within a 5 minute walk of the cliff lift and easy walk into town. This place is a gem!

Very nice, ideal location for the Spa. Spacious and comfy. Positive: Wasn't sure which of the 4 key safes to use as none were numbered. Also had a little hassle getting the key safe to open. Negative: When the rug in the lounge/diner was moved it revealed a 2 inch gap in the laminate flooring. Nothing to do with the accommodation, but being a little out of season, the South Cliff tram was not running, except at the weekend. And the paths down to the beach wern't very pushchair friendly.

Thank you for a gorgeous place to stay! We had a lovely weekend away. Will definitely look to book again when we come back.

This is the third time we have stayed at a host & stay accommodation. They have all been fantastic. We’ve had a great stay in this beautiful apartment. It had everything we needed. Great location too. We would definitely stay there again.

A lovely apartment in a lovely location. Facilities good, in good order. Communication from agents absolutely fine. Not sure whether to give overall rating of good or great. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the place and eventually settled for great. Maybe just missing the wow factor I would be happy to go back there again and probably will.

This is a lovely apartment. Very clean, modern and comfortable. It was easy to park outside. The instructions were clear. It was a cold windy weekend and the apartment was warm. The beds were really comfortable. Lovely quiet road with the sea at the end Great to look out on to the green and trees in front of the apartment.

Disappointing, Positive: Location Negative: The apartment requires a good clean. Dirty cups, chipped plates. Dust on window sill's, bedroom cupboard's, and behind the bedroom cupboards not been cleaned in years. Bathroom floor dirty, shower screen leaked. We left early and returned home.

It was a beautiful apartment, very modern and cosy! My only gripe was the bathroom, the shower was amazing but the floor got very wet and the extractor fan didn’t work but would definitely stay again

Good location apartment Positive: Good location, good layout Negative: The last minute accident insurance farce that is mandatory to pay or else you won't be going on your trip, also the way it was messaged as a form to fill out to make your stay more better. And I still can't find any mention of that in the T and C, and that's with me looking for it. It wasn't so much the amount, just the way it was forced on you.

Great location, really clean and pleasure to always go back to after a great day out without having to drive and dead close to the sea front and the Italian Gardens and parking there was always a spot available directly outside the apartment.

Great stay, everything was self service, lots of information to hand. Close to all the major tourist attractions and not Positive: Very modern and great facilities. Negative: The bath had some minor blemishes nothing major.

Positive: The apartment was clean on arrival. The beds were comfortable. There was a range of available products for cleaning etc to get us started for our trip. Check in was easy and hassle free. The location was perfect for us. The process for booking and all of the help from host and stay was fantastic. Negative: I personally think the towels provided are not the same quality as everything else in the apartment. But this is only a small thing that could be improved.
