Great location with amazing views Positive: Great location with amazing rooftop views over the abbey,plus the bonus of having your own parking space. Negative: Sofa was uncomfortable for a family of three.

Though not a quirky cottage in the cute little old streets of Whitby, this modern apartment has a gorgeous view across the roof tops to Whitby Abbey and is just a 5 minute walk from the heart of Whitby. And, unlike many quirky old cottages, is very quiet and warm, making it the perfect Christmas getaway! Easy parking space is also a massive plus in busy Whitby!

Dale is a great host and very easy to communicate with. This booking was on behalf of 2 employees working in the local area, who were very pleased with the property 😊

Amazing location, great value, perfect facilities.. cannot fault it.. Positive: We booked for a 2 night stay in Whitby, the location was awesome, facilities first class, everything you need, great beds (a little small if used to King size) shower was awesome.. but the added bonus was walking into the kitchen / living area, with a large balcony & seating area through the patio doors.. with a birds eye view straight at the Abbey up on the hill, it was a bit of a wow moment, and especially later when illuminated for the Halloween week.. Negative: The only word of caution is for motorists.. that the parking space allocated to us (8) was a little tight to get into, so any nervous drivers or where reversing is a struggle, they might find it a bit difficult and also anything above 2.0m would be a no no due to this particular space being under the canopy of the building at the rear.

Excellent location and the apartment was really lovely. Pros - location, five minute walk to the harbour. Perfect. Lovely and quiet location so no disturbed sleep. Kitchen was well equipped with plates and utensils etc. Good size dishwasher and the freezer was a bonus. Lovely shower, powerful and lovely hot water. Towels clean and fluffy. Views of the Abbey are stunning and the balcony is a lovely little space. Little extras like milk, tea and coffee, shower gel pouches much appreciated. Parking space worth its weight in gold but be aware it’s a tight squeeze if you have a longer car. But a good driver will be able to reverse in. Cons - few dust webs here and there, crumbs under the sofa, and only one wine glass, one beer glass and three glass tumblers. A small thing but annoying when two of you want a glass of wine! Will definitely stay here again.

Location was fantastic and the apartment was clean, bright and modern. Lovely view of the abbey. One of the selling points was a parking space but it is a tight space so be careful if you have a larger vehicle. Overall a great stay. X

Very poor, we left a day early Positive: The host was responsive when contacting. The bedrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The location was good and close to the town. Negative: Initially we booked this apartment for the balcony to enjoy looking out over to the Abbey, however when we arrived there was a lump of dog poo on the balcony with a handful of slugs around it. The outdoor seating was rusted and in a very sorry state so this was a no go area. We did email and explain the issues and although there was a quick reply, they were unable to help with the clean up or the outdoor seating, which I thinks is disgusting when you have to pay a £60 cleaning fee within your price. The living area was very small for 4 people, the sofa was uncomfortable and fine for 2 adults and a child, there was a small chair which was dirty on the arms and needs cleaning. The washing machine bounces around badly and sounds as if it was going to take off, I felt sorry for the people below us. We left after one night. So much better accommodation out there for the money they want.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Very close to the town, good view of the abbey and very nice and modern accommodation. Be warned, it’s a 3rd floor apartment so be ready for steps and the parking is very tight, we have a Nissan qashqai which just fit into the space, but anything bigger would probably not fit. Would strongly recommend and will look to return in the future.

Excellent location Positive: Excellent location just 5 mins walk from Whitby harbour. Stunning view from the balcony of the abbey. Apartment was clean, comfortable, modern & well-appointed, we had everything we needed. Negative: Sat nav did not find it, took us to the housing estate behind & we got quite lost! Some lovely locals helped us but it would be tricky to find without help so clear directions would have been really helpful. Very tight alley to reverse into the parking space too so we didn't get the car out once there until leaving but thankfully the location was great for exploring Whitby on foot.

Perfect location to explore Whitby and surrounding areas. Positive: Great location for Whitby. 5 minute walk from bus/train station and harbour. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Although no host is on site they reply to any messages promptly. Will definitely visit again. Negative: The parking space is a bonus but will be a little snug for larger cars.

Love Whitby, loved our break, apartment just needed a little bit more attention Positive: Location was fantastic. Negative: After reading previous reviews for this year comments were made on some things that needed cleaning or did not work, 6 months or so these issues are still not resolved. But overall the apartment was nice but not welcoming.

Great place in a fantastic location

Positive: Loved the apartment. Very comfortable, great location. Only 5 mins walk from town centre. Found the communication with staff was excellent as we had a small issue. Great to have the parking space which was big enough for our Toyota CHR. Would definitely use this apartment again. Negative: Nothing

Lovely couple of days! Clean, smart apartment near the centre of Whitby.

Really easy to find, and great to have a designated parking space. It took us a minute or two to walk around and figure out where the entrance door was, but once inside so pleased with the balcony and lovely view over the rooftops towards Whitby Abbey. Fantastic to have the outside space. Really convenient base to explore Whitby itself, the coast path and Cinder Track if you fancy a walk, or close enough to open countryside across the moors and York too.

We have truly enjoyed our stay with the host. Beautiful top floor apartment overlooking Whitby. Very clean and modern, we had all we needed for our stay. Great location in town with allocated parking which was super handy. We would love to come back again. Thank you very much .

Stained carpets, dust and cobwebs everywhere, bird poo on the clothes airer, mould on the bathroom tiles, broken dining chairs. Only one wine glass in an apartment for 4.

Location was perfect to spend time in whitby. Only thing I can recommend is if you do not carry a pen on you (like us) make sure you bring one as you need to fill out the Parking permit with your reg number - we had to pop to the shops to buy one!

A pleasant and convenient stay for meeting friends for a long weekend. Positive: The location is great, easy pretty flat walking quick access into town. It was quiet and convenient. Also came with a parking space which can be limited in Whitby. Comfy beds and it’s well decorated. With a balcony. Negative: There’s room for improvement with the cleanliness. It was average inside. Whilst seagulls also can’t be helped the balcony was filthy with bird poop and the glass all stained so hasn’t be cleaned. Quality of and lack of toilet paper, one roll for 3 nights isn’t adequate, no hand wash in the kitchen. For the cost of the stay and basic amenities it drives me crazy when the first thing you have to do is go to the shops for basics. Especially after Covid it’s common hygiene. Broken lamp in bedroom, shower screen also leaked water into bathroom floor.

Skyline, the place to stay Positive: It was a great place to stay. Close to town . The apartment was lovely and clean, plus welk equipped with everything you need . The host emailed lots to welcome with lots of info and say goodbye. I would definitely recommend it . Negative: All good , nothing we didn't like.

Great time Positive: The balcony had not been cleaned. We cleaned before we could sit out. The chairs on the balcony are going rusty, and would mark our clothes if we used them. One of the dining room front chairs legs is wobbly so couldn’t use it. Sorry wrong box. Negative: We loved everything else.

The property itself and position are good. However, as mentioned on other reviews there are issues which seem to be down to the management of the place - especially as things pointed out previously are still an issue. The parking is tight but we got a fairly large family car in ok. Any long car or wide car would have no chance. Once booked you get a link to a guide for the property. This has very nice pictures of what you’ll find like fancy coffee pods and lovely looking toiletries. Only things is there are none. No toiletries and cheap instant coffee sachets. That’s fine but don’t mislead people by saying there will be something there isn’t. Lots of cobwebs in the lounge, first 3 items of crockery we got out were dirty, table outside was covered in crumbs, small coffee table was broken, 2 of the 4 chairs had wobbly legs so couldn’t be used ( they didn’t just need tightening). The place just had a feel of being run to make money with no care for clients. Oh and the seagulls, very loud!

We had a lovely time staying here - the flat is as pictured and in a fantastic location. It is only a few minute walk to many restaurants including an amazing fish and chips and also a Parisian-themed cocktail bar! The flat itself is nice with all the amenities you could want. It has a beautiful view of the Abbey - watching the sun set with this view in the evening was lovely. Overall a lovely time! The only downside to our stay was the parking, having since read multiple reviews that have mentioned the same issue it appears that the listing has not been updated to inform future guests of the parking specifics. To put it short: my Mini Cooper with roof box is around 2.1m tall - this was the absolute maximum height that can fit in the parking spot as it is underneath the building. Any cars taller than 2.1m would be an issue in my opinion - the same goes for any car much longer than a Mini Cooper - there is a brick wall opposite which makes fitting into the spot a tight squeeze!

This wasn’t a cheap stay, to affect my allergies. Definitely wouldn’t stay again. Positive: The bedding was clean and the shower was powerful. Negative: The cleanliness was really disappointing, dust on light fittings, on kitchen cupboards, on headboard and blinds. Black mould around the shower and the oven was extremely dirty. Stains on carpet, rugs and chair. Really disappointing. The parking space was small and difficult to get into with a big car. The stairs leading to the property were filthy dirty and everything felt unclean. Check out time on the information sent says 12 but was sent a message to leave by 10.

Positive: Excellent location, only a few minutes walk into Whitby. Lovely interiors, especially bedrooms. Beds were super comfortable! Great to have a balcony too for some fresh air and great view of Whitby Abbey We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again. Negative: I know it can't be helped but the parking was very tight! I have a Peugeot 3008 and only just got in after a lot of adjustments and moving the neighbours grubby dustbins. If you have a biggish car then you've got no chance of getting it in - so be warned as this wasn't mentioned in the listing, only the reviews. Not ideal but a nice bonus as parking is sought after. Sofa wasn't very comfortable but we didn't spend much time inside, so no big deal for us. Also would have been nice to have come soap provided in the bathroom!

The apartment is very well located for a visit to Whitby, with everyone you want to see within easy walking distance. It is clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the Abbey from the balcony. Just be aware that this is not someone's home, so supplies are minimal.

Excellent location, perfect accommodation for us. Parking space was a bit small but we have a large car. Bedrooms perfect, both with small dressing tables and hanging space for clothes etc. Bathroom and kitchen really clean and enough chairs for us to have to the family round for a drink while we were there to look at the view! Would recommend!

Beautiful apartment, a stones throw from whitby centre

Skyline apartment is perfectly placed for a weekend in Whitby. The balcony is an added bonus with a fantastic view of the abbey. We will certainly be coming back to this fabulous apartment.

We stayed just for one night and the property was perfect. We were close to the town centre, had easy parking, and the surprise view of the Abbey from the living room and terrace.

We had a very pleasant stay at Skyline Apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the host communication was clear and helpful throughout our stay. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was provided. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to other guests

Nice place and great location. Mostly clean except the sofa had lots of stains. My main ‘negative’ is the host saying that I needed to pay a £250 damage deposit upfront, just before the booking. When I explained this requirement was not explicitly referenced on AirBnB upon booking, they apologised for the confusion and said that I did not need to pay. Easily and quickly resolved but not ideal as it caused a bit of stress. However, overall a good experience.

Great location, and bonus having a designated parking space. The apartment was fine and as described however could be improved greatly by a few small things. The sofa was quite badly stained and there are scuff marks on the walls, the windows could also benefit from a clean and it would look so much better!

This should be a home from home as well decorated and good amenities. Large bath towels and comfy bed. Fantastic view of the abbey. It is let down because it is not clean. The shower seal to the bath is filthy and the radiator on the bathroom hasn’t seen a hoover or duster in months. And neither have the blinds. The carpets also need cleaning. I could have let that go unfortunately worst was to come. The sofa was badly stained and very dirty. I had to take a throw from one of the beds to cover it before we could sit on it. I let Host & stay know and I sent photos of the sofa first thing Tuesday morning, they assured me they would get someone round to clean and would confirm as soon as the could get hold of someone. I am home now and still waiting for the confirmation. Host & Stay leave a card to confirm it’s been cleaned saying “we hope everything is finished to an excellent standard” no, it isn’t. If your staying say hello to the dead spider on a cobweb behind the table

Great little bolt hole close to centre. Some wear and tear when you look closely but overall a lovely place. Would be helpful to know the parking bay number did not match the door number so struggled to find the key lock in bay 8 for door number 3. Otherwise no complaints would defo book again.

We had a good time in whitby we love whotby Positive: Location was very good, appartment was nice & modern Negative: The sofa was filthy & the patio doors. Who ever was th ere before us smoked & the ashtray wasn't emptied.wen we had the storm it just filled up with water. Their was a permanent bad smell in the bathroom, also not sure if the cleaner check the pots their was a greasy dirty frying pan & sauspan which I had to wash before I could use, these issues really let the appartment down because it was a really nice place, just needs more attention to detail

Average Positive: Location was great, short walk to the town centre Negative: Beds were tiny, bearly doubles. Sofa was filthy, all stained. Worse thing was there was a foul smell of sewage coming from the bathroom - most likely from Drainage attached to the bath as the water when emptying took ages to flow away. We rang the hosts emergency contact number and left a voice message on arrival to report the issue as the smell was that bad. No one got in touch during our stay. We managed to dissipate some of the smell by leave the window open and light on which kept the expel air fan running constantly - no great and poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend staying there to others.

Staying at this apartment really enhanced our stay making it very enjoyable. Positive: Very clean and comfortable with all things thought of and great location making every where we wanted to visit easily accessible. Super communication throughout and lots of information on things to do during our stay provided. The property has a fabulous view and a great balcony to sit out and enjoy this on. The addition of a designated car parking space was also invaluable. We will definitely choose this apartment to stay in on future visits to Whitby. Negative: Was not a problem for us but several flights of stairs to get to apartment may be difficult for anyone less mobile.

Great location, lovely space to stay, very comfortable beds and the outdoor balcony space and view were amazing. Although advertised and stating designated parking space, it wasn’t. Taken by someone else. Permit provided for street parking but disappointed not to park where expected. Easy walk into town, less than 5mins. Everything accessible. Would recommend.

A perfect and enjoyable stay for our long weekend in Whitby. Positive: Great location - short walk into town centre. Excellent view of iconic abbey from the balcony! Bed very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen area. Apartment was clean, including the balcony. Negative: Car parking space is tight, but we were aware of this from previous reviews and were prepared for the manoeuvring, so it is do-able (for a mercedes c200 coupe).

Great location, comfortable and well presented top floor flat with all the necessary amenities. Negative: Arriving a little early to the general location, we ended up paying £4.40 to park and wait 28 mins for the apartment to be ready - we were told cleaners were on site until 4pm check in and we could not arrive early. Then to see that the fridge shelf was dirty, the under sink cupboard dirty and the balcony floor and ledges filthy with bird droppings - I would expected this to have been cleaner.

Positive: Everything was right about the property, cleanliness , facilities etc. Location was great with a view of the abbey from the living room window, The property was located near the train station ,which meant we didn't have to walk up any hills getting back at the end of the day. Negative: The property was clean inside but the small patio had bird droppings situated under the satellite dish. I mean a lot off bird droppings. If we had children we wouldn't have let them outside. The droppings should be cleaned up or move the dish or put bird spikes on it.

Needs to make people aware that the parking is very tight and only a small car fits into the parking area

Positive: There was a smell to the flat as if someone had been smoking in it, which left a stale smoky smell throughout our stay.

A great stay in a lovely apartment, just glad we went in our smaller car. Positive: Lovely clean apartment. Very bright in all rooms. The view from the balcony was superb. Negative: The parking space was very tight. We were only aware of that ahead of time due to reading other people's reviews. The parking space was labelled as number 8, but the flat is flat 3, which was very confusing. As a result it took a long time to find the key box, which is located at the back of the parking space and so hard to see as it very dark.
