Negative: Cleanliness eg. Cobwebs on kitchen and bedroom ceilings as well as dust and hair especially behind single bed in double bedroom. Bag with dog poo in garage as well as dog poo x2 outside beck door which we had to clean up. Dirty grill pan. I feel strongly that our cleaning charge should be returned.
Lively house in Amble with plenty of room for 5 people and a dog. Everything you need for a little stay away. Within walking distance to the town, shops, pubs restaurants etc. lots of beautiful beaches in the vicinity.
In a good location only 10 mins walk from the town centre and harbour. Well equipped and spacious. Secure garden for dogs and in a quiet residential area
Good location for us, just we were restricted for places to eat out with dogs. The outside area could do with a bit of a tidy up but the conservatory was really good and we used probably more than any other room. The only really complaint was that bed in the main bedroom was too small and uncomfortable. Would recommend to friends and family.

Good size garden for the two dogs we had with us. Within easy walking distance of shops, good access to beach for dog walks and easy to get back on main route for other places to visit.

Comfortable and clean house in a quiet area. Garden enclosed so suitable for dogs. Amazing beaches nearby but nearest dog friendly beach a 40 minute walk or 5 minute drive. All in all a good property for a holiday/ break.
Location in residential area within walking distance of local amenities. Great to have parking and a secure garden for our dog. House was very clean but could do with some TLC although did have a new bathroom. TV reception very poor; boiler leaking water (reported). Amble is a good base for exploring the local area.

Reasonable value and quality house - ideal for a family
Just some feedback on the facilities. The beds are really comfortable and the linen including towels was really superior quality. The bathroom facilities are excellent. Soap, shower gel and toilet roll provided. Inside the house was nice and clean. Nice size house for a family. Parking excellent. Nice quiet cul de sac very close to the beach and all facilities. Instructions and communication very good. I have a few constructive comments to make which will help improve the facilities: Freezer compartment in refrigerator or separate freezer Old fashioned wooden furniture in lounge needs replacing. Flower pots in front garden all full of weeds! Back garden in need of full makeover I hope you take my comments as useful
We enjoyed our stay in Amble. The house was a great size for our family of five and the outside space was welcome. Really comfy beds and clean linen. Ample towels and bedding available. Lovely friendly neighbours either side of the house. Missing a few home comforts (kitchen roll, pepper) and we found empty beer cans in a low down cupboard on arrival. Also didn’t appreciate the extra insurance we had to pay for. Surely AirB&B covers insurance? Also didn’t receive checkin details before arriving so needed to contact AirB&B for extra assistance.

Great value for money, very close to the beach and a verity of pubs. House was very clean and had everything you needed. Garden could do with some tidying but we stayed over the colder months so didn’t spend any time out there anyway. Great place to book if you’re on a budget but want to explore he Northumberland coast
We had a great stay here for a few nights. Everything was walking distance (beach, pubs, harbour) even with a 3 and 5 year old. A couple of problems we occurred were quickly sorted and communication was quick and efficient.

The property was well situated within walking distance of the harbour. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden albeit overgrown. We had to cut brambles & nettles back, & the patio does need some maintenance. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. We stayed for 2 weeks & overall we were comfortable. Not sure we will rent from this host again.

Positive: Location great Negative: The double bed needs replacing , you fall into the middle , we turned the mattress over to discover it was bed base not mattress. The single bed room was not much better . The dinning room chairs need some maintenance . Not the 1 st to tell these problems notes left in house from past people

Great stay!! Would return Positive: Has everything you need. Even things I packed like tin foil and dish washing liquid, location is brilliant for all the castles and day trips. Rooms comfy and clean Negative: TV is tiny. After a whole day out we just wanted to chill at night, TV was really annoying. There is only one downstairs. So our child had to use a tablet when in bed and unwinding. Garden is really dark. Could use some lights. Impossible to see the dog. There's very few plug points in bedrooms too.

Positive: The house was clean great location and well equipped bathroom spotless . Negative: There was no blinds or curtains on the upstairs landing window the next door neighbour could look straight in to the bedroom . The garden was a mess the grass as not been cut for months. The houses could do with a bit of a makeover.

Great location, quiet residential area close to beach and town centre. Important things were fine - shower, comfortable beds, plenty of space etc. But in general the house needs some TLC and then it would be fabulous
Location excellent. Property clean, comfy beds and good linen. the house had very shoddy finish to all decor, kitchen and bathroom needed attention. Mismatched furniture and lacking glasses. Garden overgrown, lawn needed mowing, needed weeding, sweep decking etc - not very pleasant to sit in at all. Garage which housed fridge/ freezer and washing machine also full of rubbish. If it wasn't for location and cleanliness wouldn't have stayed.
A real home from home. Well equipped comfortable beds. Private outdoor space. 5 minutes walk to harbour and lots of good places to eat. Also lovely walk from property to a fabulous beach.

Absolutely love Amble and this property is perfect location. Great size but could be so much better. Positive: Great sized property, excellent location. beds were comfy Negative: pictures didn't give a true image of the property. Didn't enjoy having to cut the grass on the day of arrival. Couldn't find the switch for power to the conservatory. Old furniture not needed in property. Main building clean and well kept but everything else left. Main fridge freezer in the garage with a strip light that kept flashing, not great. List of things that previous guest had left hadn't been sorted. All problems still the same. TV in livingroom far to small for room size. Wires for tv in bedrooms left exposed. Something i don't agree with is paying £30 non refundable payment for breakages just to get the info for the key to the property

Positive: The location was good, the bathroom is very modern, instructions were well communicated. The kitchen is stocked well for cooking. The bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage space. Negative: There were stains all over the carpet in the dining room. The outside seating area is dirty, full of leaves and cobwebs. The furniture is dated and there are hardly any mirrors.
Felt very much like a home from home. Positive: Handy location only 5 minutes stroll into town. Plenty of space. Nice to have a garden to use in good weather and the conservatory if not quite as warm. Negative: A few minor snags such as no curtain on landing window and a number of lightbulbs missing or faulty. The fitted wardrobes in the main bedroom mean that there really isn't enough space for the large chair to also be in there. Getting around the bed is a bit tight.

Back from a lovely 4 night stay here. Comfortable and enough space for us. Good location on a quiet residential street. Easily walkable into the main part of town and harbour.

This semi-detached property was adequate for our needs and situated in a cul de sac on a residential housing estate which was quiet and an easy 10/15 minute walk to the town or the beach. We had a big problem with a broken bed in the double room and uncomfortable mattresses on two single beds. However the home owner ordered a new bed base and mattresses which arrived within 48 hours. The kitchen was well equipped with an abundance of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. An extra fridge/freezer in the garage was handy, as was the downstairs loo. The upstairs bathroom had a roomy shower and good sized bath. There was a small conservatory leading to a decked area and lawn, which we made use of as the weather was lovely for our stay.

Amble is beautiful, the accommodation had everything we needed , the shower was lovely and warm. fully stocked kitchen , squeaky beds but didn't keep us up. large driveway and lovely garden . we would stay again. The host was very quick at responding too thank you !
The actual rental price was competitive however I was a little disturbed by the supplementary cleaning charge . Not too keen on the need to lodge a deposit for any damage incurred either . As we left the property clean and undamaged I hope to promptly receive refund of the damage deposit

Great location to visit the amazing sites of Northumberland. Be sure to take the Puffin Cruise to Coquet Island during nesting season to see the Puffins and Terns. Warkworth Castle and beach, Alnmouth Beach. The Old Boathouse for a fab meal and the market on a Sunday in Amble is fab.
Shower dangerous The property was in good area, close to Main Street and marina. The property was let down by 1- the shower. Dangerous, either boiling hot or cold, no happy medium. 2- Front door sticking and difficult to open. 3-TV reception made it impossible to watch.
