Arranged the stay for my colleague who was visiting. No complaints, property as described and clean.

Great location for easy access into the city and also country walks along the river Trent

The property was just the job for our 2 night fishing trip. It was clean and comfortable, with good communication. A short walk to the local pubs and very close to the river.Our host was very good and made us well aware he was happy to be contacted.

Great place to spend a couple of days. Lovely village, Very comfortable and clean property. Happy to return again. Excellent service throughout with Charlie the owner. 5 Stars

Positive: Quiet location and property was on the ground floor which made life easier with getting luggage in and out. USB sockets were a handy touch. The photos on the listing are a fair representation of the property and although it is very dated aesthetically, everything was functional and mostly comfortable. Negative: We arrived on a cold night in December and it was clear that the heating had not been on in the property for some time. It was so cold that I slept in my jumper. I think it is courteous for the heating to be set to come on in advance of guests' arrival. The radiator in the second bedroom didn't seem to be working well and even when the property warmed up, that room remained cold. Cleanliness was an issue - the mugs in the cupboard had not been well cleaned and the tea towels STANK. The sponge provided for washing up had previously been used - a clean one for our stay would have been appreciated. Overall the standard of the accommodation was not high enough for the price paid.

I arrived at the accommodation at 21:25 after being on the road from 5am to find a French family was in the house. The company had actively double booked. We both had correspondence from the host and the family that was already there even met Tony. They must have known that they had double booked as they liaised with both parties frequently. I got no help or relocation to another place to stay. I was left exhausted in a very dark area with no help for hours. I was finally told very late on to go and find my own accommodation and pay for it myself. This led to even more time on the road to travel from Nottingham to Grantham struggling to keep my eyes open to stay at a Travelodge. This double booking forced me into a very dangerous situation which could have had terrible consequences.

The house was very clean and comfortable, and it suited our requirements down to a T. I will definitely be booking again

We needed a good nights sleep and somewhere to relax and eat in. The beds were comfy and we had all we needed to feel home from home here.

Not helped by being unable to find the place to start with - pin on map was on the wrong side of a main road. Helpful phone call, albeit that it entailed being sent photos which are of little use if (a) it's dark and (b) you're nowhere near the property. Flat was very cold - heating very efficient, but if we stayed again we'd have to have it on all night because the place became Baltic very quickly. What we were provided with was ok, but, for example, only having one bowl for three adults is at the lower end of expectations.

Foi uma ótima experiência! A casa é completa. Cozinha todos os itens básicos para cozinhar e com eletrodomésticos bons e novos. Todos os cômodos possuem aquecimento a gás. Sala confortável, com uma TV gigante. Um pequeno quintal para a precisar a noite ou o dia, perfeito para fumantes como eu. Os quartos também são ótimos. Todos equipados com cobertas pesadas que adorei e colchões são muito bons! A casa é excelente mesmo. Nosso anfitrião é uma pessoa muito bacana! Apesar de não termos nos conhecido pessoalmente, ele nos orientou muito bem e nos deixou muito a vontade durante a estadia.
