Lovely house, perfect for our family getaway with everything you could need. Great location for walking the dog through the very pretty Saltburn Valley gardens down to beach. The hosts even left tips for dog friendly cafe/restaurants.

Beautiful spacious home, a lot of thought has been put into the interior design - it really is lovely and a very fair price. We had 4 adults a child and 2 collies and there was ample space for us all. Full cooking facilities, better pans than at home haha! Really, really lovely and would love to come back soon. Less than 10 minutes walking to the sea front and shops and an amazing chocolate shop! Not too far from other places too, we visited Sansend, Whitby, Robin Hood Bay too, all within 40 minutes or so. Returned very relax and happy. Thank you!

Ahead of our arrival, both Charlie and Lynzi were incredibly responsive to my messages; and very helpful in their responses. We had a very comfortable stay while visiting family in the area. It was a perfect base for exploring the area with our children, and a comfortable place to rest after all our activities. We would not hesitate to book again!

We loved our stay in this house. There was plenty of space for a family of 4 + a dog. It was dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden - something I’ve found hard to come by. The house was clean and had everything we needed, including washing machine tablets and a fully equipped kitchen. The local takeaways are very nice. It was a 2 minute drive to the beach which was stunning. There were lots of dog friendly places near by. If we visit Saltburn again we will definitely stay here. Thank you!

We were the there for a wedding at Rushpool Hall, it was very convenient for there only 10 minute taxi journey away Positive: Spacious and homely with nice decor on the walls Negative: Key safe extremely difficult to get into and could not get through to the owners to explain we we’re struggling to get in the property! Stair treads are very narrow to the point your toes hung over the end of each tread. Quite dangerous

Four nights in August Positive: The house is very stylish and comfortable inside, almost everything we needed was there. All the rooms were clean and tidy. The washing machine and tumble dryer came in very handy. We have stayed in this area before so we know it's good for us, the beach, cafes and shops are a short walk away. Negative: Our only issues were the downstairs bathroom with a recently potty trained toddler and an older person in the group. Finding a way to make an ensuite in the huge main bedroom would be a great addition. The stairs are very steep and a baby gate, or even two, would be really useful. A few pots of plants in the front garden and in the back yard would be nice.

5 of us stayed at 1 Montrose St, Saltburn. It was a good size for our group. Simple and basically decorated and furnished but had everything we needed although it could have done with some hooks to hang up towels and clothes etc. The kitchen and family room was a great space and well equipped. Shame the garden/yard didn’t have any furniture or a bbq especially for summer bookings, it also could have done with a washing line to hang wetsuits and beach towels. We love Saltburn, it’s a beautiful, clean and charming Victorian seaside town with a lovely chilled surfer, bohemian, artisan vibe. 1 Montrose St is a good 10 mins walk from the seafront then a steep walk down the cliff to the beach (there’s a funicular to take you up and down the cliff). I would have stayed nearer to the seafront as we went to the beach everyday carrying lots of beach/surfing stuff. If that’s not your holiday bug then it is a good location as also only 5 mins from the centre, shops and restaurants.

We had a great stay! The kitchen is fully equipped, and because we are Canadian, we really appreciated the tumble dryer. The house was clean and spacious, and the location was great! I did have one question for the host, who responded very quickly. Highly recommend!

Great accommodation, very clean, well kept and homely. Well equipped , could not find any fault. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great place to stay, so close to the local amenities! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook in and all bedrooms had comfy beds! Would recommend a stay here!

Everything we needed for our stay

This place is ok to stay but don't expect anything fantastic. I am not sure if it's mentioned in the advert but it should be made quite clear that there is only 1 bathroom and it is downstairs next to the kitchen. We also discovered that pretty much all of the glasses hadn't been checked after the dishwasher and put into the cupboard because they had hardened on food remnants on them. We had to soak them to scrub it off. Both the bleach and the kitchen spray bottles were empty so we could not wipe down the kitchen surfaces effectively. There's also quite bad damp in the lounge bay window and the paint has fallen off in many places. It cracks and falls off very easily. We felt the standard was not worth the over £650 we paid for 4 nights.

Great property. Fully equipped kitchen and nicely decorated. Saltburn itself is lovely lots to see and plenty of places to eat. Beach is 10 min walk away. We hired the hut for the day and loved it. Well situated to explore surrounding area like Whitby etc. We went to York by train for a day too from Saltburn station. Local Sainsbury’s is well stocked but there is a larger Asda and Aldi 8-10 min by car at the edge of Saltburn which we discovered afterwards. I would recommend the house and the location.

House was in a great location, only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Saltburn. The house was clean on arrival, was adequately equipped and was comfortable. If we found ourselves back in Saltburn we would definitely stay at the house again.

Excellent place to stay , would recommend and will be planning on using again .

Negative: Some outdoor furniture in rear yard ar property would have been good. We had lovely weather but had nothing to sit on/at in rear yard. 5of us couldn’t fit on a bench at the front. Other than that the house was lovely

ok Positive: the property was very clean and well equipped but the downstairs bathroom wasn’t expected. Typical of old property the stairs where steep and to have to go up and down in the night and to the far end of the house to toilet was less than ideal Negative: well equipped

Positive: Roomy property within walking distance of amenities. Comfy beds. Negative: Not as clean as I would of liked.

Fabulous little house just been totally refurbished to an excellent standard, i will definitely be looking out for this Host's property's when I'm back in the area, very professional company really well run very smooth operation, thank you,
