lovely flat, beautifully decorated with everything one could need-like home from home. super comfy bed and sofa. squeaky clean-absolutely spotless. is located on the first floor up some stairs so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues but was perfect for us. located opposite the train station, and within walking distance of pier, seafront, pubs, restaurants, takeaways and boutiques. peaceful surroundings in a sleepy village. excellent chinese 3 doors down too! we loved the personal touch with the black book in the living room with emergency numbers locally like dentist etc, and hosts were really responsive if we needed them. Great price for location and comfort.parking for free outside on the street. we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to saltburn, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. The apartment was what we both wanted we were very happy with it and we really enjoyed Saltburn . Positive: There wasn’t a breakfast apartment was self catering. Negative: The check in time on the Sunday was no good we arrived at one o’clock with the checkin was four o’clock which meant we waited 3 hours to get in when it was a key code????? Also you took £20 for damage insurance when we left the apartment was left as we found it really you should refund my card not a very good practice by yourselves a money making scheme very poor indeed.

Great, will come back again Positive: Very comfortable, warm and homely. Plenty of space. Good location. Was lovely for a longer stay. Negative: Towel hooks in the bathroom, more towels and kitchen towels for long stays and bin liners would have been useful. Also a more easy way to dispose of rubbish.

Great location that was at the other end of the bars and restaurants so the flat was peaceful and quiet as a result. Bars were great and we enjoyed several restaurants at our stay. Good for walking and bike rides. Free parking outside the flat. So will deffo use again

Amazing place to stay Positive: Everything was brilliant. It was a very clean and cosy apartment to stay in with plenty of room for the two of us. Had milk there for us when we came in, the TVs worked perfectly. The bed was extremely comfortable. As for the area, what a beautiful place. Its close to literally everything in Saltburn. Can't recommend it highly enough! Negative: Nothing. Was brilliant.

Lovely spacious, clean accommodation. Huge bedroom and bed (firm mattress) nice to have a tv in the bedroom for a rainy morning. Comfy sofa and lovely decor and lamps. Kitchen had everything we needed, although we mostly ate out. Alessi Italian was fantastic as was the Spa hotel for drinks looking over the sea. Would not recommend Tomahawk restaurant, waited a long time any the meal was awful (worth £85) we sent it back but unfortunately it was too late to eat anywhere else, only bad part of the trip. Didn’t want to leave, would highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely weekend. Caz & Steve

Always enjoy a few days in Saltburn Positive: The property was good - it wasn’t the apartment I originally booked which I discussed with you as soon as the confirmation came through with the wrong property but in the end we chose to keep the booking. Negative: Smaller than what I had originally booked.

We loved our stay & extended it by one night. The apartment is central, 5 minutes walk to shops & restaurants etc. it’s also very, very quiet. Maximum 10 minute walk to the sea. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It was faultless. Bus stops & train station 5 minutes walk away. We parked the car outside the door & didn’t use it again until our journey home. Fabulous independent shops, restaurants & bars in the town. We were given a warm welcome everywhere. Can’t wait to visit again.

Lovely, spotlessly clean, well appointed flat as described. Parked by the front door, easy access via a key safe and excellent communication from the host. The flat was within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Apartment was quite comfortable, we were disappointed Host & Stay’s inflexible attitude. Positive: Location was perfect, bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was good. Negative: Couch in living area was old, tired and uncomfortable, needs replacing. Really need hooks and shelves in the bathroom, there is nowhere to put towels. Need to supply spare bin bags in kitchen.

Great Find Positive: Went for a relaxing weekend and got exactly that. The apartment itself had everything we needed, maybe except coasters and place mats for table. The cleanliness was excellent, don t normally look into too hard but that four in a bed was on TV so checked a few things and wasn't disappointed in any way. The lounge and bedroom windows face towards the sea which was a really nice bonus to the place. The lounge was really comfortable and felt homely, the bedroom is extra large and the bed superb for a great night's sleep, checked the pillows for a label as they were fantastic. Bathroom not the largest but shower great and plenty of room for 2. Overall it's a great place, there's always a few things I reckon will be ungraded in future , but value for money it is and the service from hosts spot on. Negative: Didn't like leaving, I'd possibly make a feature wall in the bedroom on chimney breast as it is such a large room it would enhance it. Maybe change internal doors, all cosmetics really and nobody's taste is the same. Didn't really find anything I didn't like, could of moved in the place and been happy.

Flat was good for a two night stay, but not sure I would have wanted to spend a whole week there. Photo is view from lou Positive: It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very good with a good walk in shower. Plenty of hot water. The flat was very convenient for the station and food shops. It was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable bit I kept knocking my knee on the leg of the bed which stuck out. Negative: There were no instructions for the cooker and we spent some time trying to work it out. There was no oven glove . We were worried about putting hot plates or cups straight on the table so some table mats would be good It would have been good to have a few more plates etc as only two sets of most things meant we had to wash up very frequently. There was a very strong smell of food so I don’t think the property had been properly aired.

Good value in great location Positive: Large bedroom. Great central location with plenty of on street parking. Nice, well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc provided. Negative: No towel hooks in bathroom. Needs smaller sofa so more room for dining table, sofa not comfortable. Didn't know where to put recycling and unsure how to access outside bins. Internet only works in lounge. No radio.

Our front door yale lock broke on the second day and we was locked out for hours. Finally a maintenance guy turned up fr Positive: Nothing Negative: It was furnished with charity shop furniture. The place was dirty and full of cobwebs everywhere.

Fabulous Positive: Kitchen and bathroom are compact but very nice, lounge is roomy, bedroom is enormous. Very comfortable bed. TV in both lounge and bedroom. Very clean on arrival. We managed to park right outside. Negative: Hall and stairs need some TLC, but once in the apartment, it is lovely.

Lovely stay. Positive: Great location, lovely apartment. Wasn’t expecting the milk in the fridge when we got there so that was a lovely touch. Loved the fact we could see the sea definitely be bedroom and the lounge. Hosts replied quickly which was great. Negative: The bed was a little too hard for us, but that’s the only thing.

Positive: Property near railway station and near late-opening shop for groceries. Arrived to find a pint of full fat milk in the fridge, and ice cubes in the freezer box, thankyou. Negative: Bedroom blind could have been darker

The stay was very good, but there was an over stress on accidental damage during some of the correspondence with the age Positive: Great location, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Negative: I had to wash the cups in the cupboard which had coffee marks, as not washed properly. The bin area had a grease line which I just left, so that the cleaning lady would notice it.

Positive: Excellent location, minutes away from bars, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. There was plenty of free parking on the road. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Negative: Only thing we would suggest is a hook for towels in the bathroom, maybe on the back of the door or wall next to the shower. Not a problem for us but would make taking a shower a bit easier.

Positive: Saltburn. Negative: No left luggage facilities in saltburn. Host and stay didn't reply to my enquiry.

Firstly the positives - Saltburn is a lovely place and the flat is conveniently located for the beach, restaurants, pubs and shops. The location is reasonably quiet and although it is near the station you could barely hear the trains. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is good. The bedroom is a good size with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Now the negatives - the flat had no washing machine although this has since been removed from the listing. The sofa is not fit for purpose, the seat cushions have no stuffing. The flat shares the entrance hall and stairs with other residents so it is quite scruffy. There was also a strong smell of "alternative" cigarette smoke especially at night.

Great base for exploring the area. Positive: Location was excellent. Negative: From the front door to the apartment could be more welcoming.

Settee could do with a recovering. Looks dated and worn, but comfy! More toilet rolls for the price we paid would have been appreciated. Lack of hooks on back of bathroom door.

Overall a nice place to stay. Previously I stayed at Cobblestones in Marske which was a cleaner, better equipped residen Positive: Very good location. Nice to have good quality tv’s in lounge and bedroom. Negative: Not enough cutlery, maybe the entrance, past the front door could be a bit more appealing. Pans, cupboards could be of a better quality. Need to have direct access to the recycling and bin area.

We had a lovely relaxing stay over the bank holiday. The flat was in a perfect spot in easy walking distance of the beach and some lovely local bars and restaurants. It had everything we needed. Really straightforward check in and out and good communication before and during our visit.

In general my stay was good, the place was very quiet and warm, very close to the beach and Sainsbury's. Communication with the host was really quick, and were very keen in sorting out promptly any issues I came across.

Lovely space, really clean and tidy. Felt very fresh. Really comfy, huge bed. Excellent location, close to beach and shops.
