We had a great stay with our 15 week old Pup Tilly. A great location with easy access to the beach. The apartment was spotless comfy and the heating was a great welcome from the bitter wind..very cosy and warm stay. we will definitely be booking again. Tilly, Sue,Jo Jo and Andy
A well furnished, clean and homely chalet with great outdoor space and best of all, a sea view! Perfect location within walking distance, around 2km, of Bridlington. Right on the part of the beach that is dog friendly. You can walk along the beach, again about 2km, in the opposite direction and come to Frailsthorpe and a great, dog friendly cafe, the cow shed. The chalet has a well equipped kitchen. Lots of storage for your clothes. One thingti point out, there is an outdoor light that shines through the blinds all night. Could do with black out curtains or take and eye mask.
Lovely stay and will definitely keep in mind for future stays. Really peaceful place, nice veranda to sit out on and look at the sea. Everything was super clean. 10 minutes walk to Makis bar, shop and fish and chips shop on the Site. They're still doing work and building more chalets but didn't affect the stay. Just a couple of criticisms, the main bedroom is quite snug although the king size bed is the main reason we booked. Bedrooms and bathrooms could do with more hooks to hang towels and it would be helpful to include in the info guide that cushions for the outdoor furniture are in a container to the side. It's a little pricey over the summer months for a family but I guess you're paying for the view. All in all a really nice stay and I'd use again for a long weekend.
We give our stay 10/10 - relaxing and enjoyable Positive: The location of the accommodation facing the sea and the enclosed outside deck with furniture. Fabulous! The light flowing through the rooms. Comfortable couches, beds and brand new carpets. The attractive design and decor and available items in the kitchen. We have stayed in other Host & Stay properties and had the same high level of thoughtfulness and cleanliness. Everything was brand new which was lovely for us. Good sized shower cubicle. Very comfortable accommodation in all aspects for the two of us, small but perfectly formed! The quiet - it is semi detached but we did not hear our neighbours. It's in a quiet spot on the holiday park. Good car parking close to accommodation. The sea pathway is in front of the accommodation and is a flat walk for miles with lots of seating to admire the views. Beach access is easy. Can walk along the pleasant South and North promenades right from the door of the property - and there are two different beaches one is sandy and one is pebbly! The golden sand beach in front of the property is the dog beach but they were no problem, there is plenty of space on the large sands and it felt quiet on a May bank holiday weekend with hot sunshine. The Park and Ride bus depot is a 5 minute walk away and the Land train is about a 10 minute walk - both along the promenade. We had glorious sunshine for the majority of our stay and the sunrise and sunset was gorgeous. On our rainy day we were cosy inside and still enjoyed a promenade walk in the rain. Negative: The shower tray could be slippy when using soapy products, caution is needed then it is ok. Out of the control of the host, there are building works around the property to build more chalets - they were not operating during our stay so I cannot comment on noise levels because there was not any. The builders had fenced off the pathway which meant we walked over rough grassland to get to the beach path. On wet days this is more of an issue because of muddy shoes on re-entering. There is a door mat of course. Once the pathway is accessible this removes the issue. Host & Stay cleaners are diligent and no doubt will stay on top of cleaning the carpets between stays.
Good location. Self check in no problems. Everything we needed was provided. Beds very comfortable. The place was generally ok regarding cleanliness but there were a couple of issues. The windows were very dirty outside, stained and cobwebs. They just needed a clean. The windows inside needed a clean, particularly the frames. Behind the toilet in the shower room was dirty and there were a few stains here and there. Despite these minor issues we enjoyed our stay.
Nice property Positive: The interior of the property was extremely clean. It was comfortable and the decor was lovely with lots of nice little touches. The sea view was very peaceful and better than the photos suggested. The complimentary biscuits and bottles of water were much appreciated. Negative: Better attention to detail could have been paid to certain things: in the main bedroom, there were tears on the top of the duvet cover, the blinds let in the light so blackout blinds would be better, and something like a little folding table would be useful to place next to the bed to put phones/spectacles; the extractor fan didn't work and in fact we found two used makeup brushes stuck in it; we ate at the outside table - when we cleaned it beforehand, the paper towel we used came up black; there were large stones left on the decking and the outdoor table. The amount of communication from Host & Stay was excessive: I received several separate emails advertising additional things I might want to book when they could all have been included in one email; I was sent 3 separate requests for a review; and was sent a marketing email even though I had opted out. This just put me off booking with Host & Stay again.
Mini holiday Positive: Great location overlooking the sea and short distance from the town. Very comfortable beds. Well appointed and modern. Negative: Great decking area but a sun shade for hot days would have been good. Also some secure means of having the windows open, especially at night.
Positive: Location, views, sea. Comfy beds Quite quiet. Negative: Difficulty liaising with host and stay regarding payments they're American call centre Check in 4pm and check out 10 am. I requested later checkout.... it was denied unless I paid £15 for extra hour (11 am) checkout Or £25 for earlier check in (2pm) There was no Sharpe knives for bread, potatoes ect. Only 1 tea towel no washing up sponges and 1 small toilet roll.
Great location with fantastic views across the beach and sea to Bridlington harbour and Flamborough Positive: Fantastic location adjacent to the beach but very quiet and only a short stroll to the park & ride car park to get buses to & from town centre. Large windows overlooking the beach so great for enjoying the view. Perfect for walking the dog too. Negative: Nothing.
Positive: We had a fantastic stay at 405 seaview road. The chalet has been decorated to a high standard inside with some lovely touches. The decking area and sofa outside are wonderful. A lovely relaxing holiday with fantastic views of the sea and beach and only a short walk into bridlington. 405 had everything we wanted . The owners were amazing with quick comms if we needed them for anything. Highly recommend. Negative: Nothing.
Amazing place Such a beautiful property & great views!! Takes a few days for your nerves to settle & to feel comfortable & safe when traveling alone., but i instantly felt comfortable & very safe. The property has everything you need & more. It’s very clean and decorated beautifully. I loved every minute that much that I booked to return before I even checked out く

Wonderful Perfect Spot Positive: Communications. Ease of check in. The most perfect spot to unwind & charge ones batteries! Everything in Chalet & decor was Superb! We ate out every day but there was more than enough cooking utensils & lovely large fridge freezer too. Would love to return in the Summer months & sit outside watching the Sea. I last came to South Shore when I was 13! Things have improved immensely. We slept better than we have for months too! 😄 Thank you Negative: Everything Spot on!
A home from home by the sea. Positive: Excellent location with fantastic views. All the facilities you’d need inside for a weeks stay or even a few days stay. Furniture and beds very comfy. Never had a bad nights sleep. Cleanliness of the place couldn’t be faulted. Beach is a very short walk away. Bridlington is in easy reach by either car, walking, park and ride bus or land train. Negative: Only slight criticism would be lack of plug sockets in the living area and possibly a couple of up-lighters or lamps rather than using the fitted ceiling lights. But these are very minor points and will no way take any enjoyment away from your stay.
We really like this Chalet. The beds were super comfy and we all slept very well. Beautiful sea view. The place was spotless and clean. What more can you ask for.

The hosting company waited until the rebate deadline had passed before informing me of additional costs, and would not send information about access until that was paid. This is a really unethical practice. The property was on a building site and parking area was covered in debris. Secondly, the paths to the property were uneven due to rabbits digging, and I fell, badly injuring my ankle, which ruined the weekend. The host and the management company simply directed my feedback to the owner of the park. Absolutely no accountability. The property was well equipped - but the management was very poor. The whole place was very dusty, with dead flies and cobwebs. The bedding was too small for the beds, so you couldn't tuck the bottom sheet in. There were light bulbs missing, cigarette butts outside, and the internet very slow. I requested a reimbursement of the cleaning fee, but this was refused as I did not let them know first thing (I was occupied with an injured ankle)
Excellent facilities and location good size. Positive: Perfect view of sea and spotlessly clean. 2 good size bedrooms lovely outside decking if weather is good. Milk and tea coffee washing liquid even cookies provided. Negative: The blinds in bedroom could do with curtains as well as the light comes in still making hard to sleep if you like pitch black for sleeping.
Positive: The property was clean and modern and had everything you needed. There was a nice little welcome pack too Negative: We found it difficult to locate on site, but that was due to my phone signal being too weak to use the map in the welcome pack. Written directions would also be helpful.
This was better than expected and would definitely book again. Positive: The chalet was in a great location on the sea front so lovely views. The chalet was modern and had everything you needed and great care had been taken to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyed. The chalet was clean throughout. Negative: There was nothing you could find not to like it was like being home from home. Everything you wanted was there. If anyone complains about this chalet I don’t know what they are wanting from a stay near the seaside.
