Positive: This place had amazing views, every window spectacular. The whole stay was made amazing just based on the location and views. The apartment was spacious and large enough for a family of 6. Negative: Was not clean, bits on floor and lots dead insects and dust on window sills ans floor. Lots cobwebs and dust, decor dated ans in some state of disrepair.

A nice property with good sea views in need of a deep clean and some maintenance repairs. Positive: We liked how spacious the property was. The sea view was lovely. Negative: The first thing we noticed was that the property wasn’t clean. There was faeces in both toilets and even what looked like blood on the toilet seat. Minimal. But there. It’s in need of a deep clean. Some of the rooms need updating and maintenance. We didn’t feel overly comfortable due to how grubby it was, we had to clean it ourselves so it was clean to use. One of the bedrooms had mould and damp in the corner near the window. The carpet is filthy in the living area. We also found the location of the flat difficult with all the luggage travelling with two toddlers. We were told there wasn’t any high chairs or travel cots but then found a travel cot in the wardrobe and a highchair in the cupboard which would have saved us carting them up to the flat.

Beautiful views, flat could do with a good clean and updating. Positive: The views in this place are incredible. We were lucky enough to see dolphins the first evening and were able to sit and watch them out the window. The flat is spacious and worked well with the two families staying. The kitchen is relatively well equipped. Negative: The flat was not as clean as I would have expected. It didn't look like the floors had been vacuumed and the surfaces in the kitchen were sticky. The bed in the upstairs bedroom was very hard and the pillows are very thin and poor quality, they could do with being replaced. The kitchen was relatively well equipped but a lot of the stuff needs replacing, plans scratched and wobbly handles. We were a party of 8 and were given two parking tickets which covered us for two nights. We were staying for three so it made our final two days very tricky as its difficult to park around the flat during season time. We ended up parking almost a mile away, not ideal with kids. The furniture could do with updating, the footstall in the living room is falling apart and when we moved it it left sharp nails over the floor which we didn't see until one of the kids almost stood on it. A couple of the dining rooms chairs were wobbly and didn't feel very safe. All round an ok stay but not the standard I would expect for almost £800 for three nights.

I personally recommend that you can book It's holiday home for family.

We had a fantastic few days in Whitby, the apartment was ideally located and the views are amazing. Positive: Location was excellent, views were excellent (scaffolding was up but we were fore warned) apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children. The Metunes bar below the apartments was very friendly and welcoming. Negative: The building and furnishings were a little dated and the apartment was showing signs of wear and tear. I asked the host if there was a cot / high chair available, they said there wasn’t, so we had to bring our own, only to find one in the wardrobe after we’d set ours up. Although there was a scratch card left for parking we received a parking fine because we misunderstood it.

Avoid!! Positive: Leaving Negative: Customer service - Shocking! I experienced problems from the offset with the door lock. I phoned the number privided and briefly spoke on the phone around 5pm but then none of the team bothered to call back or kept putting the phone down, I am now complaining, in writing, and waiting for a full and detailed response and resolution. Front door - the lock is shot. I've attached pictures and spent a ridiculous 20-30 on arrival outside with two small children trying to open the door. This happened again a short while later, but I didn't call again as I was still waiting for a call back from the 1st occasion. I did speak to a gentleman at one point, but he was more concerned over getting a picture than helping. Scaffolding - This is a sea view property, it's even in the name!! But arriving to it everywhere and the windows and filthy! Again, told by a colleague it's on the site. The booking information is conflicting, one page didn't ever mention it at all, the other says until the end of May which only conveniently appeared once I complained. Either way, May had been and gone so it shouldn't have still been there. Cleaning - I'm not sure this premise has a cleaner. Every surface is grim and sticky or not clean. They're insects and spiders everywhere with cobwebs, new and old, everywhere you turn. Stains on sofas and carpets. Burn marks from the iron. The fridge looks damaged and in need of a clean, or a bin. Beds - They're either made badly or already been slept in. None of the bedding fits correctly and some of it is stained. Found bugs in the bed...dead ones. Damage - It's everywhere. I was under the impression checks are to be carried out but again its everywhere you turn. Including pictures missing off the walls, cupboards with holes in or that don't work. Damp - You can see it and smell it. It's on the blinds, wallpaper lifting everywhere. TV - It doesn't work! And they know this as its on multiple reviews.

Pros: Beautiful views, situated in a great location for access to Whitby and has a lovely spacious layout and feel to it. The decor is a bit dated with some peeling wallpaper in places but overall nice. Cons: On arrival the lift didn't work which was a key part of selecting this place due to accessibility for one of our guests. I will note that this was mentioned to the host and was fixed the next morning which we greatly appreciated. Another point was that for a December visit, the heating had not been turned on and the place was freezing! It took over 6 hours to heat up and we had a baby and a 70yr old with us (the hosts were aware) so was not great conditions for them. Finally, we were told only after the first night that the downstairs toilet had a problem, making only the upstairs ensuite toilet available. We had a guest with accessibility issues and stairs to the toilet was very difficult to manage, as well as making it an issue at night when guests in that room were sleeping.

Perfect location for exploring Whitby with the family. Positive: Location, amazing views, spacious and clean. Negative: Some of the windows open fully, some have safety catches some don’t, quite dangerous for a top floor apartment with small children.

This was in a lovely location with practically 360 views of Whitby. Travelling with friends and kids it was the perfect location to base ourselves from. However unfortunately on arrival we hadn’t been send the lockbox number and had to wait, once we had the keys the lock took about 5 minutes to open the door as the lock is obviously a bit fiddly. Upon entering the apartment we were hit with an unpleasant smell that didn’t disappear even when we had opened the windows. If you have small children you will need to stay with them at all times as plenty of the windows open fully which we found surprising being on the 4th floor. The beds were fresh and clean and the bathrooms were also clean. The kitchen had everything it needed. Parking is very limited in Whitby, we had two cars and had to pay extra for the 2nd parking scratch card. First one is provided for 2 days.

Positive: Very comfortable and well equipped.. Lovely apartment. Good location. Negative: Property isn't really suitable for small children due to internal staircase and bedroom with no door. Unfortunately great views spoiled by scaffolding around entire apartment. Shower very slow to drain.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. We had a group of seven and had plenty of space; we were able to cook together, hang out comfortably in all the cozy space, the views of the water were amazing and having such awesome and short walks down to the beach was wonderful! Great stay!

Great property, it was a bit run down in places but overall a great place. Easy location for everything in Whitby. Shame there’s just one key for a group holiday, and the upstairs room has no door but it was manageable.

We came for Goth Weekend, the position in relation to the Spa was ideal. Negative: One Set of keys between 4 was tricky at times, just glad there weren't 6 of us

Absolutely brilliant location and value for money 10/10. We could not believe how big this space was and how homely it felt. One thing that could be improved on is the overall cleanliness of the accommodation. We came across a few dirty surfaces, cobwebs and the kitchen wear such as pots and plates etc weren’t very clean. However, we are already discussing booking the accommodation again for summer. We would bring our own kitchen wear next time. The views were stunning, even with the Feb weather, and the host was very friendly and provided quick responses. Definitely recommend booking.

Relaxing, great views, comfortable apartment! Positive: It was a fantastic location with wonderful views up and down the coast. The apartment was spacious with comfortable sofas. We loved hearing the sound of the sea and watching boats and birds. Negative: The only thing I would suggest (which is easy to provide!) is nicer mugs and a set of matching glass tumblers. Also a chair in each bedroom would be helpful!

Perfectly located and spacious Positive: Location was excellent - right at the door was the path down to be beach. The views from the apartment were excellent (can see the football and cricket ground too) The walk to Sandsend (down to beach left) was an hour long and amazing - even the kids wanted to do it again. Lovely cafes by the beach there too! Large apartment with big rooms and fully equipped kitchen. Chinese restaurant was nice (just below the apartment) and walkable to Fisherman Wife for variety. Other places delivered too Negative: July 2023 renovation work outside the windows was a pain but fixing the roof so should be done soon Spiders a plenty! For some reason the apartment has lots. Whitby is quiet and lots of the town closes early so don't expect restaurants to be open late even in summer!

Absolutely stunning. A hidden gem, the flat is like a penthouse that a footballer would live in. Whilst the building itself has character and history, the interior has been very well thought out with lots of amenities. The flat is located a 10 min walk to bars/shops etc. 100% will come back and recommend to friends! Thank you!

Perfect flat for us for a nice weekend away. Positive: It’s spacious, has everything you’d need for even a lengthy stay and has really beautiful views. Only a short walk, although up steep hills depending on the route you walk to the harbour and bay. Negative: It’s not that we didn’t like anything but the building is quite old so don’t expect a bling modern thing.

A great place to stay had everything we needed,checking in is very easy . Beautiful views from the apartment which is on the top floor but fortunately there is a lift. The apartment is well set out and accomadates large groups with ease, just a 10 minute walk into Whitby perfect location for a great time away

Lovely location and large apartment with views of the sea Positive: The location is fabulous with views straight to sea and a side view of the harbour. The apartment is very large and can sleep 7 so lots of space for everyone. Although on the fourth floor there is a small lift. Apartment and area very quiet especially on a night it was fabulous having the windows open and listening to the sea break on the sand throughout the night Negative: The apartment is very dated with issues that I have separately messaged to Host&Stay. However things to note are the decor needs a good overhaul as well as the kitchen utensils.

Sadly, this was another extremely disappointing stay. This is now the third poor experience we have had across different Positive: Lovely views Negative: We were extremely disappointed by the overall condition of the property. It was run down, poorly maintained and not cleaned to an acceptable standard. We found an inhaler underneath one of the children's beds, food and drinks left behind by previous guests, stained bedding, mould in the kitchen, a filthy kettle and sink, dirty cupboard doors, stained blinds and cushions, hairs in drawers, a dirty toilet and bath, grease around the chopping board, previous guests' belongings left in wardrobes, rusty bins, damaged furniture and very few drinking glasses. The upstairs bed was extremely hard, the pillows were thin and uncomfortable, and the carbon monoxide alarm was not in a safe working condition. The smoke alarm had come away from the ceiling in the top bedroom, and the carbon monoxide alarm was not working. These are essential safety devices and should have been checked before guests arrived. The biggest issue was sewing needles, the inhaler and the constant loud banging noise coming from inside the upstairs bedroom wall throughout the night. It sounded like wheelie bins being dragged backwards and forwards or fence panels repeatedly banging. None of us managed to sleep properly, and it completely ruined what should have been a relaxing holiday.

Great location with amazing ocean views in this 4th floor walk-up. Lots of space with three spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, and lots of living space. We used the well-stocked kitchen to prepare meals and enjoyed watching the sunsets from the dining room. Highly recommend for families or couples traveling together.

Very spacious and good for adults but with younger kids can be difficult with the stairs going up to main room and few steps into kitchen but very nice flat with amazing views

The apartment is in a fantastic location with stunning sea views, making it a great base for exploring Whitby. The hosts were responsive throughout, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. That said, the property could benefit from a bit of TLC. There were some areas of wear and tear, such as peeling wallpaper in the dining area, a warped kitchen cupboard door, and sticky wooden worktops. The dish drying rack also looked quite worn, and the fridge shelf didn’t fit properly and had been placed at the bottom of the fridge. Overall, despite these issues, it’s a spacious and comfortable apartment in a brilliant location, and I would happily stay here again.

A lovely apartment with a lovely view. About a 15 minute walk to the town. Cleanliness could be improved on and washing up utensils were missing but other than that it was really nice.

Amazing location right by the beach and a short walk in to Whitby. Large flat enough for all 7 people. VDisappointed in the up keep of the flat, very tired, and dirty. We had to wipe down all the kitchen surfaces as they were sticky, desk covered in sand, cobwebs every where! Kitchen fairly well equipped apart from the glasses that were all different and random, and a lot of them had chips in the glass. Wobbly kitchen cupboard doors, and some of the kitchen pans were filthy. Parking was an issue we were not expecting. Advertisement mentions free parking, it never states it is only for one car! And when the flat is for 7 people most parties will be coming with at least 2 cars. You get a scratch card which gives one car free parking, the other car we had to move from free parking to paid spots all weekend. Not a massive financial burden, but had we known we would have probably booked something different. This flat could be amazing… but needs some significant love and care.

Gorgeous place - the best views in Whitby! Positive: Location was amazing! The building itself is very cool and historical. The apartment was gorgeous. Really spacious - could do with a deep clean (especially kitchen utensils etc) Negative: Kitchen utensils a bit sparse. If I was to book again which I might as it’s such a gorgeous place, I’d bring my own things for cooking (which is pretty standard anyway to ensure you have everything you need). And also bring some bubble bath/ bath stuff to enjoy the freestanding bath as we’d been walking and this would have been the perfect relaxing end to a day!

Please make it clean and beautiful again! Positive: The metropole is afabtastic building, and great location, short walk down the cliff to the beach, and exceptional sea views! Negative: It really needs a proper clean and refresh. On the mazzenine part of the apartment, where the 3rd bedroom and bathroom are located, on the first evening weve noticed some bugs, which only grew in numbers making this bedrom not usable, do we were overcrowded downstairs. Not a bug expert, but their appeared to be carpet beetles. We informed the host and stay who replied with an ai generated standard message that they will look into it and send maintainance team, but obviously nothing happened, and next guests were in straight after us. Real shame as otherwise spacious and the views are great . Its a shame as otherwise

Fabulous views from all windows. Very spacious apartment. 5 minute walk into the centre. Heating was excellent. The bad points. Extremely tired and dated. Lots of stains on carpets Blinds in 2 bedrooms and kitchen were filthy The price was reasonable for 3 nights but in this condition I wouldnt want to pay the amount they are charging for the summer. It would have been a stunning apartment in its day but sadly no TLC has been given to it lately.

A little TLC would make a big difference Positive: Amazing views, lift handy considering apartment is on 4th floor Negative: Freezing when arrived and took nearly a day to warm up Issue raised with Host & Stay after building management highlighted toilet was emptying directly out onto exterior scaffolding as no sluice pipe connected. This meant we couldn’t use the toilet or shower during our stay. This was unacceptable and the owner must have been aware prior to our arrival.

Lovely location and enough space for 6 adults to sleep but needs a good deep clean and re fresh Positive: The location, the views, the amount of space the accommodation had. Lovely at first glance. Negative: Lovely at first glance however needed a BIG deep clean! It had a really old with a smell, all the carpets are stained, wallpaper peeling off the walls, there was so many little things can could be quickly upgraded/ fixed! Old rusty draining board, old scratched washing up bowl, crumbs under the tele table, all of the window ledges had insects and needed a good clean! The kitchen worktop is dirty and full of stains, the bins weren’t emptied when we arrived! The ottoman in the dining room was fully peeling with games and crumbs stuffed down the back, not to mention more… such as old damp worktop around the sink, The place needed a big clean and a re fresh and would be so much better!

Wonderful apartment in an amazing location. Easy to find and park although we had to walk around the building a couple of times to find the entrance (as it was marked Metropole Towers and not the Metropole Court which I had expected from the address). The view is out-of-this-world and the flat has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. Particularly impressed with the shower (I may even look to getting one for myself!) Unfortunately, there was one negative and its a shame that I feel the need to have to mention it :( but... the standard of housekeeping was really not great :( The need for me to have a quick clean and hoover round before we unpacked (although I ignored the cobwebs, I would have been there all day!) was greatly outweighed by the positives of Seaview@44 however, so unless you're particularly fastidious about housekeeping, don't let it put you off staying. Overall, it was great and thanks to the owners for a lovely holiday :)

Lovely apartment but tired. Positive: Superb location with amazing views. Iconic building, once one of Whitbys finest hotels. Comfortable and extremely spacious. Negative: In short, it's tired. Peeling wallpaper, broken doors on kitchen cabinets, once state of the art led lighting now largely not working. Downstairs bathroom smelled of damp throughout stay even though we kept window open. Missing or broken kitchen utensils ( only one spatula and the handle was broken off, no oven gloves at all). We were not given enough parking permits to cover the duration of our stay. I assumed this was an oversight and it was sorted for me by Charlie of Host and Stay ( whose communication was excellent) after I queried it a few times. But I'm disappointed to have just checked back through other people's reviews and seen that this is a regular occurrence. No terrestrial TV service. Lift in building was out of order for most of our stay and it seems this happens regularly so avoid if anyone in your group can't manage lots of stairs.

Positive: Views were amazing. Quieter side of whitby. Negative: The first impression of outside, scaffolding, rubbish laying about. Could have been cleaner. Repairs in kitchen and walls needed.

Spacious with good views but major cleanliness issues spoiled our experience. Positive: The location was very good with beautiful sea views. The apartment was spacious. Negative: The cleanliness was a major issue and there was damage in several rooms. The showers did not work properly and the bathrooms were not clean. There was food debris beneath the sofa seat cushions.

Fabulous location. Spacious, well-equipped apartment but needs a little tlc. I would stay here again Positive: Perfect location. Very close to the beach, harbour and shops. Plenty of parking and the free parking permit was an added bonus. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The views from the windows were amazing. Negative: The apartment was a bit dirty in places, i.e. dusty headboard, some dirty window ledges, and the bath had a soap scum mark all around but there were plenty of cleaning products in the apartment so we cleaned those areas ourselves. There were also a couple of windows that wouldn't open or close properly. The apartment door key was a little temperamental.

The apartment is spacious, with good size rooms, and well laid out. Check-in instructions were clear and accurate. The parking system worked well and we had no problem finding spaces to park, both outside the apartment and in town. The location is excellent, right on the sea-front and only 10 mins. walk into the centre. There are spectacular views from every room. The hosts were very responsive. The only reason this review is 4* and not 5* is that the (very grand) building is showing its age and needs some renovation and decoration.

Wonderful Whitby stay Positive: The location of the apartment is fantastic, with great sea views. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need during your stay. It is very well furnished with comfortable expensive looking furniture. Negative: The only slight issues we found were that the fridge door catches onto the side of the unit causing it to not close unless you shove it forcefully, hence we noticed a large amount of ice at the back that we had to defrost to improve efficiency. The upstairs bedroom has no door, so it's not too private, and although there are blackout blinds, we thought the room would benefit from an additional curtain to block out the light in the morning

The building is a previous hotel and a stand out on the west cliff boasting stunning views up at the very top of this iconic landmark location. The apartment is large with plenty of room in the living areas to accommodate 6 guests. The decor in the apartment needs tidying with a few neglected cosmetic items needing repair. The cleaning company perhaps on our stay was not thorough as the kitchen worktop and floor was sticky. most of the cutlery and crockery hadn't been cleaned well either. Despite these things, which could be easily resolved and, we enjoyed our time here. The building was fascinating and the lift was a god send up to the 4th floor where this air bnb is located. This property is a 5 minute walk to the whale bones and 5 minute walk down to the beach and infamous huts ideally located on the promenade.

Positive: The size of the apartment was fantastic and everything we needed was available. Negative: Late check in, early check out. We only had 2 nights but because of the late check in and early check out we felt we didn't have a lot of time in the apartment.

Despite the location being lovely and it was a very spacious place, the upstairs bedroom was filled with bugs. It got in the bed and inside of the table too. There were multiple bugs and when I tried to message the host about the fact that we have bugs are we are going to have to wash our clothes they said ‘Sorry to hear you will have to wash your clothes.’ Very unhelpful and feel very let down that the team did not do more to apologise for the infestation and for the lack of cleanliness

The apartment is in a great location, right near the seafront. It is really spacious and there are lots of thoughtful things inside for guests, like board games. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are nice. Lovely toiletries were supplied. Thank you!

Positive: Great location easy access lovely rooms great size Negative: Parking vouchers were confusing as given 2 day parking so had to pay from 4 till 7 then move car from one place to w zone. There was a leak on tap in bathroom. Dishwasher was covered in what looked like rice dirty food had to clean if before using. The kitchen cupboard was damaged which we reported

Could be better! Positive: Sea views, spacious and comfortable, bed already made upon arrival. Negative: Toaster and oven(s) not working. Shower backing up. We reported it, but nobody came to fix them. So we had to throw a lot of food out that we had bought for oven use.

We really enjoyed our time here, so much space , it added to our enjoyment in Whitby , would recommend! The wardrobe in the master bedroom was insane, I’ve never seen one like it before, my sister wanted to take it home.

Helping us with any questions we had. Negative: Shower wouldn't drain properly. Told booking.com Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon. Only received 2 parking scratch cards. Staff were supposed to give us another, but didn't! Booking.com however, said they would reimburse us for the money we had to put in the parking meter.

Adequate. Positive: Beautifully designed, well equipped, fantastic sea views, the top floor bathroom is stunning. Your staff are very pleasant. Negative: Demanding that we pay for damage insurance just before we were due to arrive when it wasn’t stated in the booking information. The first we knew of it was just after the free cancellation period. The TV doesn’t work, and despite emailing for help, we received no useful advice. Whilst the apartment itself was very good, the internal corridors were very unkempt and poorly maintained. Fire equipment was missing in the communal area on the fourth floor.

Whitby is a lovely town and this place has a great view, situated very close to the town. Unfortunately the host didn’t provide the promised parking card, so we had a lot of faff moving cars and unpacking / packing.

Positive: Spacious. Very good quality furnishings. Great views of the sea. Warm . Manage to get parking outside too. Negative: No door on the upstairs bedroom

Nice property in a good location.

It is spacious and lavishly carpeted but needed a thorough vacuuming. The marble topped dining table needed a clean, as did the work surfaces in the kitchen and lower floor bedrooms. The kitchen floor was sticky and the microwave was in need of a deep clean. A shower caddy would help to avoid storing on floor. The shower drain is very slow running. There was dust on the mirrors indicating a rushed job of cleaning. On the plus side the place is comfortable and cavernous, the leather suite is very comfortable and so are the beds. The double glazed windows held the noise of the pub below at bay and the views through them are magnificent. The scaffolding didn’t help but that is not the owners fault. Overall we enjoyed our stay but it was to get away from housework so the praise is muted. I have two tips for future occupants, firstly travel light, parking is difficult and you might have to lug your belongings a long way. Secondly fork out for pay and display parking for your first day.

Werbung und Wirklichkeit passen für uns nicht zusammen, würden wir nicht wieder buchen. Schade. Positive: Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt am West Cliff. Strand, Klippen und Meer sowie Freizeitmöglichkeiten wie Fußballgolf oder Minigolf direkt vor Ort. Nur eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit für Lebensmittel fehlt. Negative: Die Wohnung ist eigentlich sehr schön. Tolle Einrichtung, Blick aufs Meer, großzügige Küche, Bücher und Gesellschaftsspiele liegen bereit. Leider war alles in schlechtem Zustand. Ein Bett war zum Beispiel defekt, auch wenn man noch drin schlafen konnte. Die gesamte Wohnung war nur hastig geputzt. Viele Flächen waren klebrig, die Mülleimer waren noch voll Müll, Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine waren verdreckt. Die Fenster waren so schmutzig, das man nicht durch schauen konnte - leider keine Übertreibung. Es gab nur zwei kleine Handtücher für 5 Gäste. Die Klingel war defekt und es gab nur einen Schlüssel. Das heißt, dass man mit dem Mobiltelefon anrufen muss und dann immer jemand aus der vierten Etage herunter kommen muss, um jemanden die Tür zu öffnen. Sehr nervig. Unsere Bitte, dass wir wenigstens einen zweiten Schlüssel bekommen könnten, wurde ohne inhaltliche Begründung von Host & Stay abgelehnt. All diese Punkte wurden von verschiedenen Gästen in den letzten Monaten wiederholt in den Rückmeldungen angegeben, aber passiert scheint nichts zu sein. Nach unserer dritten Anfrage ist das Housekeeping gekommen, hat Handtücher gebracht und hat zwei, drei Stellen geputzt. Für die Fenster fühlte sich das Housekeeping aber nicht zuständig, erst nach einigen freundlichen Nachfragen wurden die Fenster wenigstens grob geputzt und wir konnten das Meer auch sehen. Ingesamt haben wir es als sehr frustrierend wahrgenommen, dass hier eine tolle Wohnung aus unserer Sicht wenig gepflegt wird. Wir denken, dass man die Probleme mit wenig Aufwand lösen könnte, wenn es gewollt wäre.

Positive: Lovely apartment, very spacious and perfect sleeping layout for us. Board games were a nice touch. Negative: We went when the building was surrounded by scaffolding, so our view wasn't great. We were only given a 2 day parking pass even though we were there for 3 nights, so we ended up getting a parking ticket, and they would not help us pay anything towards it.

Lovely home to stay in, spacious with what should be beautiful views. Unfortunately, the scaffolding was still up during our stay which does block the view slightly. Builders working from 9-630 on roof right above us so was very noisy early. No parking vouchers left out and none were able to be brouht to us until the afternoon of our first day. However they did offer to reimburse us for paid parking Host and stay were very responsive during our stay although i needed to chase for instructions and key code, lots of correspondence before regarding insurance payment Apartment was lovely, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

4 stars is for great location and space. Has a view issues. I felt the scaffolding was worse than described, really ruined the view but when this is gone will be much better. Our key did get stuck in the door on multiple occasions, the toilet button was broken and there was a cobweb/dead spider in the plate cupboard. Not flexible with check in/out. Worth it if you can get it at a cheap price.
