A great family house in a great location. A short walk down the hill to the harbour a very short drive to the supermarket for amenities and fuel. Loads of options of things to do in Amble and the costal driveway through to Alnwick and beyond makes it an ideal location for a family holiday. Very peaceful as a retreat at the end of a busy day and plenty of space within the property. Which was depicted so well in the pictures on the site. We would highly recommend this property

A very comfortable and spacious house in a great location. Positive: This is a lovely house, with loads of space for a larger family or family group. It is just a short stroll to the seafront, shops and restaurants/cafes. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay in Amble immensely. Negative: Whilst of course there is no requirement for a holiday let to provide the following, we have found these things in other holiday homes and have found them very helpful: cooking oil, tomato sauce, salt, cling film. A few bits that you might not think to take, but make cooking and making packed lunches a bit easier.

ideal downstairs for a family with children and dogs. large kitchen with big dining table , comfortable sofa in this area and convenient TV for the kids. Washing machine and dishwasher very useful. Outdoor area rather limited but we could let the dogs into it as it is secure. No problem with on Street parking and peaceful. Short walk into town and open land to exercise the dogs . Lounge area also spacious with comfortable with another TV ( saves arguing!). Double beds very comfortable but single bed in one room not so great. Single beds in twin room fine . Good quality linen and towels.Shower rooms rather cramped but fine for a holiday experience. Downstairs toilet and sink very useful.

Short holiday Positive: Lovely open living space, facilities perfectly adequate. The two shower rooms on first floor were small but functional. Walk through toilet on the ground floor too. A bit too far to walk into Amble with little ones but Amble is a lovely fishing area with a great play park for children. Fish and chips were delicious Negative: Automatic light on landing wasn't so great with youngsters in the house as their door was open and light flashing on at any small movement wasn't ideal. Maybe a gate across the stairway for safety would have been a better idea for night visits to bathroom.

A decent place to stay for a family in Amble Positive: A spacious well equipped property, bright and inviting. Comfortable beds and comfortable furniture. Large well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and utensils. Decent sized bedrooms. Negative: Bathrooms were very cramped. No curtains in the bedrooms only blinds which meant the children were woken up very early. Needed some washing detergent and dishwasher powder

Stayed at Sea Breeze for four nights. Very clean and well equipped. Lots of space for the whole family with a great kitchen for dining and socialising. The outside space was disappointing. Very small patio with not a good outlook. Amble is a short drive from many excellent beaches.

Family break Positive: Loved the property. Very modern home with everything you need Everything was clean Would definitely stay here again. We were on a much needed family break and loved every minute. Pub at the end of the road very friendly. Nice short walk to the seafront and plenty of places to eat and drink Negative: Nothing bad to say about the property. Only thing was the back door was awkward to open and shut, just needs looking at.

Sea Breeze was a wonderful place to stay. 4 adults, 3 children and a baby we had the place at full capacity and it felt like we had plenty of room. We had everything that we could have needed down to the smallest detail. The shower rooms are a tad on the small side, a bit of a squeeze to bath the baby but not impossible. Location for the town is perfect. Parking on the street was fine for us. We easily found 2 spaces for big cars right outside and just across the road. On the whole it was a really lovely stay. Thank you so much.

Good location but room for improvement Positive: This was a good holiday cottage and just a better equipped kitchen (providing cheese grater, large pans, sieve, coffee maker or cafetiere), cleaner shower tiles, information folder and locks on doors would have made it excellent. Whilst it was well equipped for watching TV, drinking and heating pizzas, it was surprisingly lacking basic items for cooking family meals. I reported items that were lacking and received a reply that they might consider for future improvement. Nevertheless, our family group of 7 enjoyed staying in this location , a 15 minute walk from Amble town and harbour. Warkworth castle nearby and also well placed for exploring Northumbria - snowdrops at Howick Hall Gardens spectacular and Cragside well with visiting.

Great value for my family stay, three big bedrooms with one single which was perfect for my niece Positive: Great location with a short walk to the harbour area and the local supermarket, a vibrant little town with some great eateries and quaint shops, bigger hubs in Alnwick and Ashington just a few miles away Negative: Possibly having enough seats in the lounge for all who stayed with the Christmas tree in the kitchen diner, but that apart nothing really

Lovely property. Based on an estate but plenty of on street parking. Good location for exploring Northumberland coast. Dog friendly as described. Kitchen well stocked with lots of crockery. Great layout of property for socialising. Bedrooms a good size and beds comfy. Bathrooms clean but some black mould in showers. Bathroom door locks didn’t work and many doors did not latch properly (problematic in downstairs toilet with entry to kitchen!). Key safe was very tucked away which is understandable for security but clearer instructions on location would have helped. Host communication good and helpful when I needed to call them. Overall excellent property for a family holiday, would consider staying again as so much to explore nearby.

We had a lovely family holiday for 3 nights. House had everything we needed, very cosy and clean. Quick responses and very helpful whenever we had a question, would stay again! We visited Alnwick Gardens, Holy Island, Druridge Bay and Bambrugh Castle which we’d highly recommend!

Lovely house to stay in with family or friends. Four good sized rooms and loads to see and do nearby.

A week at the seaside Positive: House very large so plenty of room for your travelling party. Spacious kitchen, living room with 2 tvs. Beds were super comfy and good pressure in the showers. X3 bathrooms of good size and big showers. This means sink small as no space. Location at the top of the street with a 5minute walk to the harbour. Ample parking around the front and side of the house on the street. Nearby park around the corner by the school for kids with big fields around for dog walkers too Negative: Sink in upstairs bathrooms small. Nowhere to put toiletries other than top of toilet or on the floor

perfect for a short break with family, loads to do in the area. Good range of restaurants and pubs nearby in walking distance. Ideal base for exploring the coast. Accommodation was clean and tidy, well decorated and uncluttered, there was everything we needed for our stay

Family Holiday For a family holiday the property was perfect. Great size lounge, plenty of floor space for the 3 youngsters to pay in. Lovely big table for all the family to sir down together. 3 bathrooms was a big bonus with 7 of us being there. One thing i would suggest would be a few hooks on back of bedroom and bathroom doors. Fantastic stay and great holiday.

Had a lovely few days away at Sea Breeze. Beautiful, accomadation which was extremely clean. Restaurants, shops, harbour etc are all within walking distance. Lots to do within the area with a family and dog. Will definitely be returning in the future. Only plee would be to have more cutlery and bigger pots/pans for when people are cooking for a family. Also, water in the showers was quite cool, not sure if this could be looked into?

The house is a good.size with plenty of room for the 4 adults and 2 children staying. Everything we needed was available. The outlook does let the house down but as we were hear to visit the surrounding area, this didn't matter so much. A few sticking points for us. The bathrooms are OK, the doors do not open very wide at all but they would benefit from a shelf as there was nowhere to even stand toothbrushes. The sofa is extremely tired and not really fit for purpose. The cushions disappear into the corners as the frame is no longer strong enough, but other than this the space works well. Unfortunately we had to cut out stay short due family circumstances and the communication with stay was brilliant and much appreciated.

Had a lovely stay @ sea breeze, the accomodation was very clean & comfortably accomdated our party (4 adults & 2 kids). the accomodation is in a good location with shops (morrisons, co-op & tesco), bars & restaurants all close by (Rossini's was really nice) & within walking distance

A birthday in Amble Positive: Space. Well equipped cupboards. Very clean. Seemed freshly decorated. On street parking. Negative: We've been to amble before, but it might be helpful to newcomers, to have a little more local information available, local walks etc.

Family birthday The Sea Breeze was well located for a quiet stay. However it was easy to visit all of the local sights too. We enjoyed a day at Alnwick Castle.

The whole house design had been set up exceptionally well. 5 adults with plenty of space. The kitchen/dining area was excellent and had plenty of room. The bedrooms were spacious and the two shower rooms were fit for purpose (a mirror above the sink would be an improvement.) Having a downstairs loo was a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our break and we did a lot of exploring.

Very enjoyable stay, with two friends in a comfortable home. Positive: Location was perfect and the minimalist decor was great. Cottage was well equipped. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Negative: The back two bedroom windows did not open? Unlock so rooms were pretty hot. The last guests left 12 empty bottles in boxes on the bench in the yard. We were surprised the cleaner didn’t take them to recycle as they are unable to recycle glass in the council bins. Maybe the owners could leave notes for holiday makers as to where they can recycle bottles?. Empty glass bottles were also around the wall of the property where the bins are.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Breeze, it was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was clean, tidy and really nicely decorated. Especially loved that the rooms had dressing tables, mirrors and plug sockets, perfect for us all getting ready for a wedding! The hosts were helpful and responsive. We would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Lovely property and great location but there were a number of things that could be improved. Positive: Location was great and the property was roomy and comfortable. Confortable beds. Amenities in Amble good. Parking easy. Suited our purpose as a base to attend a family wedding. Negative: There were a few irritating things that could be improved. Bathrooms small and nowhere to put anything - shelves over toilet would help, no mirror over sink to shave and one shower drain needed unclogging. Large lounge but not a single coffee or occasional table which made it difficult to use and bulb out in lamp. Advertised for 7 but only 6 chairs round table. Looks like no-one checks the cupboards - v random selection of equipment - only 1 wine glass but 6 gin glasses ??. only 2 small saucepans (making it v difficult to cook for everyone) but 4 frying pan. Lots of spoons but v few knives. Only 1 door key for 7 people.

Great place in an ideal Location to explore Northumberland

Another lovely stay at Sea Breeze. Positive: This is the third time we've stayed in Sea Breeze. Having 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it suits us, a group of 4 ladies. The position is ideal, we travel to local golf clubs, and this time we took a trip on the Puffin Cruise to Coquet Island to see the birds and seals. Negative: My only small gripe, I wish they had a soap dish or caddy for your toiletries inside the shower cubicle. You have to put them on floor of shower.

Memories Positive: The property was as described. Immaculate Spotlessly clean. Spacious. There was plenty comfortable seating. The bedrooms were spacious benefiting from 2 bathrooms on the first floor. Added bonus of downstairs loo. We are hoping to rebook next year. I would highly recommend this property as it was a good base for visiting surrounding areas. We were a party of 6 adults and a teenager and found the property to be spacious close to local amenities. Negative: The only downside was the mattress of the double bed in the front bedroom. This bed would benefit from a new mattress as the one on the bed has seen better days.It felt as though you were lying on a metal bar!

Disappointed that issued highlighted over one year ago in previous reviews still not resolved Positive: Nicely decorated property with lots of space and a well equipped kitchen,Downstairs toilet was a bonus. Good access to town centre and harbour and a field close by to walk the dog. Negative: issues regarding light in the bedroom and condition of sofa and mattress were highlighted over a year ago and nothing has been done to resolve these issue since, which is very disappointing. Had to use bin liners to block out the morning light and could not enjoy the lounge area as the sofa sagged and was not fit for purpose.

This house is lovely on the inside and true to the photos, but there is a reason there is no photos from the outside, but don’t let that out you off! The house was warm, comfortable, large entertaining space in the kitchen and lounge and everything was spotlessly clean. Very quiet area too and you can easily walk 15 mins down to harbour area, shops, pubs and restaurants. Can recommend harbour inn for the most enormous Sunday roast! Tried to get into Jasper’s too but it was full! Warkworth is only a 5 min drive and beautiful. I had read previous reviews about lack of pans so we came prepared but the host replaced these while we were there and they were very responsive to a couple of issues. The large sofa in the lounge needs replacing as it’s very tired and uncomfortable and more seats are needed in the lounge so all 7 of us could be together, but overall a lovely stay in a very spacious home.

Positive: It was spacious, clean, warm and welcoming. Easy to feel comfortable. A hood based to explore from.

Amble is one of my favorite cities in Northumberland, so to find this place for two couples was tremendous.The four of us strongly appreciated the location, its proximity to transport, the downtown, coast, walking paths, great restaurants is topnotch.The communication & provided information is the best I have encountered.

Nice house to use as a base for exploring this part of Northumberland. Very clean and tidy, great kitchen area and all the bedrooms were comfortable. Could perhaps have done with a few extra finishing touches to make you feel really welcome - like a pint of milk or some shower gel or shampoo - but overall we really enjoyed our time here. There was lots to do locally, and we particularly enjoyed the Hauxley Nature Reserve and its amazing scones :-)

Booked 4 nights away for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. The house was easy to find and in a great location. Near a supermarket which was really helpful. The house itself was so clean and tidy and we all loved staying in it for our holiday. The only slightly annoying thing was the automatic lights on the landing outside all the bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely comfortable spacious accommodation in a very quiet residential area. Well equipped kitchen and two excellent showers. Plenty of on street parking on a first come basis. Great base for exploring the local area. Highly recommend this home.

Nice place, easy to get around from there and a couple of pubs close by with nice food. Harbour area is really nice and Positive: The main living areas of the house are lovely and easy for a few people sharing. Plenty of seating and table space. Bedrooms nice and comfy. Negative: The exterior of the properly let’s it down a little although it’s other people’s rubbish, an old sofa out the back didn’t make a great first impression The bathrooms could take a little better cleaning, I don’t like to see other people’s toothpaste around the sink and walls

Sea Breeze was a nice place to stay. However, the shower rooms were extremely small, the single mattresses have seen better days and there isnt enough seating in the frontroom for everyone to sit in the evening together. Also 2 keys would of been handy as when not everyone wants to do the same activity and returns at different times the first party are locked out until the party arrives with the key.

Lovely modern house, large living and kitchen space . Bedrooms ok, but not a lot of clothes storage space and the two bathrooms were tiny.

Great property, second time we've used it. Great location, finished to a high standard, clean and fresh on arrival. Certainly recommend for anyone visiting Amble.

Good for a family stay. Positive: Comfortable beds, enough kitchenware for what we needed, nice big table for all 6 to sit round, 2 children, 2 parents , 2 grandparents. Good supply of toilet rolls, towels and washing up equipment etc. Quiet area . Host & Stay kept us well informed for what we needed to do on our arrival. They checked that everything was ok mid stay. They gave us clear instructions for when leaving. Negative: It says parking for 3 cars, but as it's not marked out for the accommodation, at times we had to find alternative spaces.

Positive: Clean, well equipped and a short distance to the village centre of Amble. Negative: Sensor light on the landing was annoying but that is such a little thing. Everything was good.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Plenty to see and do in Amble. Sea Breeze is a lovely house to stay in. Positive: It was very clean, ideal location for us. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of space to relax.

Positive: Clean, tidy house, comfy beds. Negative: We had a problem connecting to the Internet so emailed company, they came with same details but we then found the Internet provider had been changed by the owner who hadn't updated the house info.

More information about location of property would have been useful as quite far from town centre and coast

Lovely modern property in a very handy location in Amble. It’s a company not a host which I found you miss the little finishing touches a personal host gives you on arrival. Missing some key items at the property like salt and pepper, cleaning products which we needed as the property was dirty on arrival. Pet friendly but didn’t state till 24 hours before on the company’s extra check in details that pets are advised not to be upstairs.

Immaculate house, recommended Positive: Immaculate house, great condition throughout. Location is around a 15 min walk down to Amble Harbour and in a good location to get to local attractions too. Very small patio, suitable for letting the dogs get some air but not big enough for any furniture, however with Amble and Warkworth so close this wasn’t an issue. Takeout we would recommend Viking Pizza who offered a great selection of food. We also went to the Amble Inn, half a mile’s walk away, who had a good selection of food and dog friendly areas of the restaurant area. Negative: Only two very small improvements would make perfect - some oven gloves, and locks on the two shower rooms upstairs as we were an extended family staying together.

Well appointed, clean,modern propertyThe disappointing issue was the location which is not mentioned in the description as being a end terrace in a urban poor area with a grim outlook directly into other properties. No grassed area to sit out other than a open narrow yard overlooking the dustbins. There is no charm in that immediate area and struggled to park nearbyInside very much as described- pity it wasn't in a more pretty area

Positive: Large kitchen with table. Comfortable seating area. 3 toilets Negative: No big deal but could do with a few more kitchen utensils like a spatula for frying eggs, more cutlery and maybe some mixing bowls. A shelf in the bathrooms, for washbags etc would be really helpful.

Really great home in a lovely area. House was very spacious and great for dining. Easy to walk into town with loads of suitable amenities nearby. Would recommend and definitely stay if I return to the area

The owners would be wise to take some time out to give the carpets and furniture a deep clean and do some minor repairs which would bring this property back up to the standard they seem to want to achieve. The beds were comfortable and bedding was (mostly) clean, kitchen and bathrooms were clean but could do with some mold remover in the showers. Overall a lovely property that could be a great one and would stay again

the house was overall clean .... especially the bedrooms and shower rooms. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels beautifully white. The kitchen was well equipped...we particularly liked the large dining table. it was a disappointing that there was no hardcopy of a house manual or guests book....I know there was an online version but felt a hardcopy would be client friendly.

Nice property, in a good location Positive: The property is in a good location, clean and well presented. Negative: The blinds in all bedrooms are not sufficient, with the bright summer mornings we were awake at 4:30am! Also, the beds were on the small side.

Property was very clean,airy and light. For a hub to explore Northumbria perfect.On street parking is a bit hit and miss but no problem. A couple mentions of the home would be the bathrooms upstairs have very small hand basins and no mirrors over them ,hard to see to shave! The double bed in the rear bedroom was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in!(what was the make please). And only one tea towel in the kitchen (had to use a bathroom hand towel) Will stay there again thanks.

Stay in Amble Positive: Comfy beds and sofa. Good amount of space downstairs. Negative: Carpets need a clean, bathrooms were quite small and with mould in showers. Couldn't find the hair dryer. Two of the doors wouldn't stay on the latch to keep shut.

Great house let down by the appalling beds and dangerous microwave. The house keeping could be better as the log burner Positive: It’s a well equipped house in a quiet area. Negative: The beds were absolutely appalling. Only one double bed was ok. Ruined our stay! The microwave is a fire hazard. All reported but nothing happened on our stay not even a replacement microwave!

We loved our stay at Sea Breeze! Excellent spacious open plan kitchen, diner and living room! Bedrooms were smaller, but clean and tidy, ideal for our stay. We would stay again and recommend to others.

House was fine but the “ bathrooms” are a shower, a toilet and a 6 inch wide hand basin which makes it difficult to use. I object to being charged a £ 10 admin fee to return my damage deposit and to wait 14 days for it. Would use a private host next time . No adjustment made on £ 125 cleaning fee

Complete waste of money, location not for us Positive: Nothing Negative: Name of property very misleading - nowhere near the sea and you might get a ‘sea breeze’ if there was a hurricane!! Did not even go inside as location dreadful and past reviews re tired furnishings put us off! Absolutely no goodwill from host and stay and no refund whatsoever.
