Very enjoyable family break in a great little town Positive: Location excellent, really good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen. Helpful communications with Charlie, quick responses when required. Negative: TV limited with Firestick only. Worth a Wi-Fi top box ? Everything else absolutely bang on.

共用の出入口がもっときれいだったら、いうことのない素晴らしい施設です Positive: 町の中心で、大変便利の良い場所でした。４人家族が泊まれる施設に２人でしたので、とても広々と使えました。 キッチンや洗濯機はとても使いやすかったです Negative: この施設には、浴室が２つ有ります。しかしバスタブのある浴室でお湯を貯めると、もうひとつの浴室のシャワーのお湯が出なくなりました。調べたところ、貯湯式の湯沸かし器のようで、一定量のお湯を使ったので、貯めてある湯がなくなってしまったようです。 このバスタブにお湯貯めるのは、やめた方が良いと思います。 しかし、そうすると、バスダブにはシャワーがないので、浴室の意味がありません。瞬間湯沸かし式のシャワーを取り付けるべきです。 共用の出入口の汚さは驚くほどです。 ゴミ箱置場になっているのは、建物のレイアウト上しかたがないのかもしれませんが、もう少しきれいにできると思います。 専用部分が清潔なので、余計に残念です。

Before check in details are released you are required to pay a damage waiver. Communication response was slow and answered in an automated standard manner. Check in was straight forward. We parked in the Castle View car park where parking is free in the top long stay area. The accommodation is a loft flat, very spacious, basic and functional. No outside space but there are windows which you can open with a sky view. Upon our arrival the first thing we noticed was lots of crumbs on the kitchen floor, surfaces and pet hair on the carpet. Food crumbs on the chairs , a medication tablet on the bedroom floor, fridge was unclean etc etc. After a long 8 hour journey I had to send the hubby and kids out while I spent 2 hours of my valuable holiday time, cleaning, this was a first. The beds aren’t that comfortable either, woke up with a backache. On our first night it was difficult to sleep, the noise from the street and the neighbours below having at row at 3am.

Short break to Berwick with family Positive: The spaciousness of the flat living and dining area and modern decor was lovely.Found it clean and functional.Electric windows.Black out blinds. Two large bedrooms.We asked for twin to bed made a king. No issues. Lovely furniture and kitchen had everything we needed. Fab location for parking (long stay castle gate behind B&M ) was a bonus as close to flat.Also found to be close to train station and centre of town with lots of shops,cafes,pubs on your doorstep if you didn't have a car. Entrance was clear to see if you downloaded app(great photos) and very secure with keycode/keys are to get into flat. Shared flat entrance with 4 others,so yes,it could do with maintenance,(stairs and carpet) but overall,functional for a short break.Good value. Good communication with host &stay before and throughout stay. Negative: As mentioned,the flat entrance is shared with other residents,so could do with bit of maintenance.

Spacious and great location Positive: Lovely spacious apartment, central to everything in Berwick. Had everything we needed, could have stayed longer. Negative: Not for you if you have trouble with stairs. No problem for us however - kept us and the dog active!

Great Apartment - Fresh and clean 👌 Positive: Good size apartment with everything you need. All the shops and sites are within walking distance. Travelled/booked for work and stayed 9 nights, would definitely book this place again in the summer for a family trip as Berwick-upon-Tweed is a lovely place.

Spacious apartment in a great central location in one of the UK’s best seaside towns - you couldn’t ask for a better pla Positive: Great place to stay in a great town, everything you need at a reasonable price - couldn’t ask for more really :) Negative: Nothing - it was great!

Casa sporca, atrio chiuso puzzolente, niente acqua calda Negative: Siamo rimasti due giorni interi senza acqua calda, perché il boiler è controllato online (non da noi) e programmato per accendersi solo due ore la notte! Le lenzuola erano sporche, così anche gli asciugamani. Abbiamo trovato tazze e piatti non lavati, inoltre l’altro è molto sporco (abbiamo persino trovato piume di gabbiano, in uno spazio chiuso), scale assolutamente inadatte a persone anziane o con difficoltà motorie. In più, l’agenzia Host&Stay non è stata per niente d’aiuto (i proprietari non li abbiamo mai incontrati, vivono a 150 km di distanza).

Wonderfully central, spacious apartment Positive: It's spacious, has 2 bathrooms, well equipt and very central Negative: 3 flights of stairs after a long day walking? But that's more on my legs than the apartment.

Self catered flat Positive: Large spacious flat in an ideal situation. Flat had almost everything you might need for a comfortable self catered stay. Negative: No wine glasses Mugs/cups appeared to have crazing inside the bowls which was off putting

Good location but needs some tlc Positive: The location was great. Comfortable beds. Negative: Needed some TLC, lots of cobwebs. Only 3 forks. Really could do with another shower, or shower attachment. Lots of stairs and scruffy entrance.

Great place to stay if you want to visit Berwick, 100% recommend

Positive: Die Lage, Ausstattung, Betten sehr bequem Negative: Staub im Kleiderschrank, ein Schrank ließ sich nicht öffnen, beim 2. nur eine Tür, Eingangsbereich und Aufgang im Haus heruntergekommen, nur Nescafé vorrätig, Spinnweben in den Zimmern

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen Positive: Die Lage war super. Die Größe der Wohnung war auch sehr gut. Negative: Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung war wirklich sehr schlecht. Die Vermieter haben eine nachträgliche Reinung durchgeführt allerdings hat das kaum eine Verbesserung bewirkt. Die Küche war wirklich sehr dreckig und der Fußboden (Auslegeware) in der ganzen Wohnung war sehr dreckig. Spinnweben, dreckige Spiegel, klebrige Arbeitsflächen, sehr verdreckter Backofen, staubige Oberflächen und ein Mottenprpblem machten den Aufenthalt leider sehr unangenehm. Ein mehrfacher Wunsch auf eine andere Unterkunft wurde ignoriert.

Positive: It was adequate and had everything we needed Negative: The entrance was bad, it was dirty and depressing with a metal staircase once past that everything was better also being older the parking was a problem

Great central location Positive: Great location. We travelled by train and it was less than 10 minutes walk from the station. Really central to walk around Berwick to cafes, restaurants, bus stops and to the river, harbour, Tweedmouth and Spittal. Very spacious property and friendly neighbours. We really enjoyed our short break. Negative: The location shown on the map was not accurate, but the photo of the location helped us to find it. It would have been helpful to have been able to check in earlier so we didn't have to carry our bags around. Many other places have a 3pm check in. There were several sets of steps, this could have clearer on the website. The place could have been cleaner, and there was only one fork!

Berwick weekend Positive: Location, Accommodation space and cleanliness Negative: No direct facility parking albeit the free long stay car park was just 800 yards away

Positive: Everything was good. There was a problem getting the key code,but it was resolved quickly. Negative: The delay in getting the key code.

Lovely flat, plenty space, Negative: £60 cleaning fee but areas of flat were not clean, bathroom & bedrooms covered in loads of cobwebs, sink blocked by previous guest hair n wouldn’t drain. Quite hard to keep warm.

We didn’t stay apartment/close HORRIFIC Positive: Nothing!! We didn’t stay! No parking directly outside the property to unload. Close entrance was horrific at best! Negative: Entrance to the close was horrific, bins lying about, massive holes around draining pipes which kids or pets could injure themselves on. Upper close to the property was dirty, dusty and never seen a hoover since god knows when! Enter the property the smell of damp was overwhelming, windows too high to open or see out, no parking in the close proximity over 150 yards away at the back of B&M car park!! Walked out in disgust and drove home! Now fighting for a refund!!

Scotsgate House provided us with an ideal base for our short stay. Positive: The location was excellent and the accommodation had everything we needed for our short stay. As one of our party suffers from a gluten intolerance it gave us the flexibility we needed. Negative: The main issue was a lack of a second shower over the bath. There was insufficient hot water to allow shower for 2 people as well as a bath with an adequate amount of water.

Apartment was mostly as described inside, colourful furnishings and has just about everything you would need, although could have a more attention given when cleaning - floors sticky and cobwebs, spills in kitchen despite paying the cleaning fee. There is a dark, narrow and dirty entrance way and stairs to navigate - not for small children. The door to the apartment doesn't fit the frame, and was a fire safety and security concern. Fairly hidden and obscure damage waiver fee to pay before you arrive.

Positive: The flat was central Negative: Stairway was grubby/dirty . Resembled a a poor hostel . Lock on the door was broken and had to wait to late the next morning for a locksmith to arrive! Freezer was moldy, lots of dust on skirtings in some areas and several quite big spiders webs complete with spiders! On plus side the beds bedding, towels etc were clean a comfortable.

Great location, walk to dinner and lunch. Beware--the renters require additional charges, in addition to Airbnb. You must pay an additional £50, or £10 and provide a credit card. A bit hard to find, address and apartment number not provided.

a great place to rest and relax Positive: spacious, comfortable

Berwick Upon Tweed stay Positive: The location was perfect in the middle of town. The whole unit was very comfortable, clean with modern appliances. The rooms were generous and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The rooms were quiet and secluded with no road noise at all. Restaurants and pubs are close which was very handy. Negative: The stairs getting up to the unit are a bit narrow but manageable.

Generally good Positive: Good location for what we needed and access to town. Hosts were easily contactable and helpful Negative: Entrance from street, steps and stairs carpet to apartment door are grubby and not particularly clean although apartment itself is. No shower in main bathroom is not great

We had trouble locating the door. only through one of the very last pics we were able to find it. it's before getting to the roundabout coming from the train station. the map location is off. the rest was great, comfortable and all.

Lovely, clean, spacious modern appartment excellently located in the centre of Berwick upon Tweed Positive: The spaciousness and modern decor. Very clean and light bedrooms. Two big double bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Good quality furniture and kitchen. Excellent location for station and centre of town. Negative: Having to pay £25 extra for insurance. Would have been better if part of initial price and not an extra cost.

The location was in the centre of Berwick and very convenient for transport. The flat was spacious and well furnished. As it was on the top floor there were dormer windows and the only view was chimney tops which was fine if you were out all day. We had a problem with the fire tv but this was efficiently sorted after a phone call. The only other problem was the lighting in the stair well which was not functioning and we had to use our phone torch. Again this was to be sorted after a phone call but it wasn’t sorted before we left.

Disappointing start to our weekend in Berwick! Positive: The flat was exactly as it looked on your website & met all of our expectations (decoration & comfort-wise inside) apart from the horrible entrance alleyway - it could have been made more attractive as first impressions do count!! However it was cold inside when we arrived & the radiators were only on a timer with a max of 2hrs, so it warmed up quickly but if you went for 2/3 hours/all day, it was cold when you came back in!! Negative: Having to pay a damage waiver up front before we'd even reached the deadline to confirm we were definitely going - we have never been asked to pay a damage waiver anywhere else we have booked - plus we were not told about it until after we'd confirmed we definitely wanted to stay!! The hot water was supposed to be 'on demand' but there was no hot water at all when we arrived! I switched on a switch next to the shower room before going out, - but still no hot water when we came in! The next morning I contacted Host & Stay who wanted a photo of the boiler, it wouldn't send despite being on their WiFi, I then got a text with instructions of how to turn the boiler on but it took all day to heat up! Also in the shower, the tray was damaged outside & the tray for shampoo etc was lying on the floor when we arrived, also the toilet didn't seem properly connected to the wall? (Also despite the guide instructions we still couldn't get the TV to work either)! Finally the only good thing to happen was because of the boiler not being on, we obtained a later check out on Sunday as compensation!

Felt like living in a hostel, fortunately we spent very little time there. Positive: Central location Negative: Dirty, the bathrooms in particular, ancient cracked crockery. Cold and poorly decorated, no outside views through windows. Dark entrance hall covered in bird droppings. Parking was a significant walk and no guidance provided for complex parking arrangements. Insufficient hot water for 4 people. Poor quality furnishings throughout, broken wardrobe locks.

Perfect flat for a staycation. Positive: Excellent flat with every amenity in a lovely location. Negative: Apart from the weather which could have been better, nothing.

Generally OK Positive: It was clean and relatively spacious too. Kitchen was good. Toilets was clean with good water pressure. Good information at each stage and contacts by the company. Good internet connection. Negative: Difficult to find it as there was only a door to locate. Bed could be bit more comfortable. The house looked bit bare and could be bit more welcoming with more wall pics , plants etc. There was a locked ward robe which we could not open.

Positive: Quick and easy check-in. Great central location. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Negative: Nothing to dislike.
