lovely clean modern apartment, great host!
Apartment was as described. Check in was easy and the host provided helpful instructions.
Place was nice enough, although was directly outside a homeless shelter and extremely sketchy area. Homeless people sleeping underneath the back bedroom on a mattress so really loud in the morning. Easy walk into central tho. Also apartment was very warm, windows in the bedrooms opened but the kitchen / living room didn’t open so was extremely warm. Would be nice to be able to open them. Overall a ok stay .
Lovely apartment and great base to explore. Positive: The apartment was very clean and comfortable Negative: There's no parking for the accomodation but there is a car park around th corner which is about £12 a day, the other street parking is permit only. This is honestly just a minor thing.
The location is very good the host was very friendly and communication was great,only minor issues there was alot of spider webs on the walls specialy in the kitchen and the microwave smelt very bad and when we put our food inside it had black bits falling into our food from the microwave there was also a dirty mattress and rubish outside our bedroom window and it had a bad smell also alot of homless people sit outside the apartment stairs smoking.
It was a nice flat, handy location for getting into town. Only negative is the surrounding area and back of the building was very dirty and unkept but I believe this is a council issue and not the hosts. Hosts were very friendly and couldnt of been more helpful when we did contact them. Over all - it was adequate for what we needed it for, it could do with a good deep clean as there were a few stains here and there and a few fixtures and fittings that needed mending. Nothing major though.
We stayed in sandcastle apartments the flat was immaculate and perfect for a little get away!! Hosts were very friendly and communication was great! Honestly couldn’t fault the place
a few minor bits, not enough cutlery for four guest's. shame about the mess outside of the entrance
