Prima centrale locatie. Met kinderen iets minder geschikt wegens drukke omgeving

Positive: Location Negative: Very run down. Broken bath dirty mattresses, trip hazards on the floor separating kitchen and living room floor. Unsteady furniture. Both drawers and wardrobe unsafe. Almost fell on my son. Fridge doesn't work doesn't stay cold.

The accommodation itself is as photographed and clean however there’s was no hot water for 24 hrs and had to repeatedly chase before it was sorted - the fridge freezer does not work and has been strategically left out of listing so you have to plan not take perishables. Checkin was problematic and would advise arriving in plenty of time to collect key I was made to sweat at collection venue ( not the same as the residence) as the code sent came up as invalid and after an embarrassing wait with family was met by the maintenance man with replacement key. Also make sure to photograph and report any damage upon checkin to prevent incurring charges later!

Positive: I liked leaving the place early due to the issues we faced. Negative: The key fob directed us to the wrong door which had a threatened message left to all visitors stating they would be stabbed in the neck if they tried to enter. H+S clearly are causing this issue with the key codes. Its deplorable that this place is recommended for families. My children were terrified. The building is also under construction and stinks of urine. Finally it was filthy and not clean whatsoever. Avoid at all costs.

Poor choice, insecure arrangements, excessive booking process and charges. Avoid. Positive: This is what I did NOT like - I could not add all of my comments to the 'What didn't you like' section - read this first and then the lower section after. This stay was booked by me for my son, his partner and my two grandsons (aged 9 and 11). I chose an apartment-style place for (their) flexibility, I would normally use hotels. There was no real cost saving here, this booking was as expensive as most decent Liverpool hotels but the flexibility of an apartment would be worth it - so I thought. The booking process was hardly straightforward, not the usual click and go on Booking.com. Shortly after booking I was contacted by the Host & Stay management team who needed information from me about my party and intentions of my visit. I know they are trying to vet guests for their client but this seemed somewhat intrusive. Before arriving I was informed that there would be a (mostly refundable) £250 damage deposit to pay or a £25 non-refundable waiver insurance. This was not mentioned when booking and I think it should have been. The process for paying the waiver also involved a basic 'vetting' via another agency, Superhog, it's not just about providing a card payment. I found this pretty excessive. After finally paying the waiver I was provided with a location to pick up the key to the apartment - a mini-market place not far from the apartment but not exactly next door either. This is just a plain hassle and contrasts so much with usually just showing up and checking in to a staffed hotel or b&b. The apartment. This was basic but ok. The sofa bed used by the boys was uncomfortable for them. There were issues with hot water provision. Negative: Continued... There was supposed to be a second apartment key in the apartment but this was missing, reported to Host & Stay with no action ensuing. This meant that somebody, somewhere, had a key to enter an apartment where my family was staying for 3 nights. Not good AT ALL. The front door itself would hardly close/lock and was very flimsy. In the wee small hours there was a lot of noise outside in the apartment complex interior and the door was kicked several times. My son slept fitfully due to concern somebody would kick in this door. Again, not good. On checkout we returned the key to the mini-market place but even then had a final pestering call from Host & Stay to ensure that the key had been returned (why not ask the mini-market?). Painful. Would I book this apartment again? Absolutely not, even at 50% of what we paid. I'm from Liverpool and I know that a city centre location on a weekend is going to be raucous but having to worry about security of a place once you shut the door is very bad indeed. Would I use Host & Stay again? No I won't, they are far too intrusive and their booking procedures are frankly over the top. I will stick to staffed hotels and b&bs and have the knowledge that if something goes wrong I can call down to somebody to address that. My recommendation - avoid booking this apartment and, in my opinion, avoid using Host & Stay or fully understand their processes and charges. Wholly unimpressed!

We stayed in the apartment for a week over New Years. We were three people and the house was extremely comfortable. The place is very beautiful and is next to the center, next to the bus station and next to the best pubs in town. Nevertheless the house was quiet, well equipped and clean. The owners answered all our questions immediately. We spent very nice family moments there, a small problem with the refrigerator did not manage to spoil our mood. We will definitely visit the city again and the apartment will be in our choices.

Positive: La ubicación La decoración El guardia de seguridad super amable Negative: Es muy complicado encontrar al alojamiento ya que esta en un edificio al cual se le estan haciendo obras y honestamente espanta un poco la manera de entrar al alojamiento. Tener que ir por la llave del alojamiento a una tienda de conveniencia que esta a 5 minutos caminando del alojamiento. Los calentadores no funcionaban, asi como la estufa y el refrigerador. A las almohadas de la habitación principal les faltaba higiene, asi como al colchón de la sala. Incluyendo que la alarma de incendios nos depsertó dos veces durante la noche, y como estan remodelando los ruidos no te dejan dormir, asi mismo cuando dejamos el alojamiento nos dimos cuenta de que había letreros que decían que estaban prohibidas las rentas de estancias cortas y que si había ese tipo de rentas se le iban a pedir a los huespedes que abandonaran el edificio lo que nos hizó dudar un poco de si nos estabamos quedando en una propiedad apta para rentar en vacaciones.

Disappointment considering what I paid for the two nights. Positive: Only location Negative: Very tired decor also very noisy windows need sound proofing. All the reviews I looked after I booked said the refrigerator didn’t, which I can confirm had to it off as was so noisy.

Positive: Alojamiento muy céntrico, amplio, y cómodo Negative: Bastante ruidoso en cuanto al vecindario y algo de complicación para llegar hasta el, las instrucciones de recogida de llaves no estaban muy claras.

Positive: Absolutely nothing about this place is good. It was like a crack den in a pissy alley, construction work started at 8am every morning. Spoke to the locals and the construction work is ongoing years Negative: The fridge didn't work. The window had no handle to close it. No reception. Signs in the hallway saying "danger death" To get the key to this apartment is about 15-20mins of a walk in some shop which was extremely inconvenient I was never so scared staying somewhere abroad.

Great apartment! Positive: Great apartment with central location. Spotlessly clean with everything that we needed for our 2 night stay. Tea, coffee, sugar & toiletries were a brilliant wee touch. Iron & ironing board available which we found handy. Hairdryer also available. Very quiet & we all had good night's sleep. There was a bit of a mix up when picking up keys at mini market but phoned host & stay who gave me a new code and was sorted in around 5 mins. Only downside was the temperamental key fob to access the main door. Other than this we were pleased with our stay & will definitely stay again. And would recommend it to others.

Due ore per fare il Check-in. Chiave dell’appartamento ritirata a 15 minuti di cammino dall’appartamento e non dove dicevano le istruzioni. Ho provato a contattare “Dale” ma lui non sapeva effettivamente dove fosse l’appartamento con precisione, dando indicazioni sbagliate. Ho provato ha chiamare un numero e mi ha risposto un centralino da un altro paese e anche loro non sapevano darmi indicazioni dettagliate su come accedere e la posizione effettiva. Una volta entrati in casa ho notato polvere ovunque, materasso del divano con macchie non identificate. Accessori della cucina incrostati e asciugacapelli rotto ! Solo la posizione in città è ottima.

Fantastic location and great price. Only thing really was there were quite a few things broken in the apartment, and quite dusty. Plus the entrance and walk to the apartment was all being worked on, and no lighting at nighttime which was a little scary. But again fantastic location so when the work has been done and the few jobs that needed doing in the apartment. It will be 100%

Never again Positive: The location was central that is the only thing going for it. Negative: The building was a complete construction site, collection of the keys was a lot more than a 10 minute walk away, having this to do with your luggage is no joke, the hob was not working the fridge freezer had power but didn't keep things cool, and had a distinct smell of gas when you opened the doors, the cover plate over the joint from carpet to tile was lifted and pieces missing creating a trip hasurd, the house keeper needs serious help and training, the walls in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been wiped down from when the place had been built,

Nice and worm place. Great location. Highly recommended for 4 people.

Scaffolding everywhere and cladding was being replaced Not sent instructions for arrival in time. Finding apartment was very difficult Fridge and freezer were broken. One window catch was broken so you couldn’t close window. I couldn’t operate hob

Scary, dangerous didn’t end up staying. Positive: This a question I cannot answer because I didn’t see it so can’t say Negative: I didn’t like been given a key with the wrong apartment number. Was really hard to find directions were not clear at all and none of the surrounding shops or workers knew where it was also no clear signage to find the apartments. When we did eventually find the building our key said 57 so we went to apartment 57 and there was a threatening note on the door. Safe to say we turned around and left immediately. I contacted Charlie to be told we had the wrong apartment so just go back, I’m sorry no!!

Easy to find and close to Liverpool one and surroundings

Positive: It was clean and customer service was good Negative: I booked the place for my uncle and at the time of booking I did call them few times to ask about things not once got mentioned that building looked like a construction site and there was work going on. Then the fridge didn't work the whole time my uncle was there, cooker didn't work, if one person had shower hot water stopped working for the second person, heating was only available in the hall. Did call them and maintenance guy went round to say fridge need replacement but they left it and done nothing about that. I feel like I paid too much money and didn't get the service fully so I am very disappointed.

Very disappointing. We were expecting better experience esp when it is not cheap. Positive: Location Negative: The checkin was a horror. The place we went to collect the key did not hsve the keys available. After a few calls 1hr later we got the keys only to go to apt number listed on key and discover apt number on key is not the same as the apt we were allocated. Finally after 3 hrs at almosr 12midnite we managed get into apt. In addititon only 1 travel size shampoo and soap was provided for 3 persons even though it was mentioned in listing toiletries will be provided. When asked, host advised they will only provide initial supply!! Even if it is meant to be initial supply, that small travel bottle of soap is not enough for 3 persons!

Fantastic home and close to everything we could have wanted! Would love to stay again in the future

This place was as described. Everything was nice and clean, there was a few food droplets around the sick area but other than that it was all clean. Heating worked fine, it was nice that the place was warm on arrival. Fridge wasn't working very well, it didn't seem to get cold. Parking is hard if you plan to stay in during the day as you can only park on the road for 4 hours and the car parks nearby were expensive. Other than minor bits, everything was perfect and it's good for a few nights away in the centre of Liverpool. Would definitely book again. Thank you!

Great for a weekend away Positive: Clean , good location. Hot water for showers was great. Negative: Didn’t like that we had to travel in a taxi to get the keys at a shop to pick up keys and then had to take the keys back to the shop when we checking out was about a 5 min drive in taxi. And there was only one double bed and sofa which wasn’t very comfortable.
