Robin's Nest was perfect for our family to meet up with plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Thoughtful gift on arrival and very well equipped so we were able to cater meals easily and eat socially. The whole place was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The site itself was quiet and easy to find, near to Callington for eating out and supplies and Cotehele for a great day out. We made use of the pool, which the children enjoyed (needed to contact our host for the password as booking was online, but they responded quickly, so no problem at all) We would definitely recommend and book again.

Nice apartment but poor service Positive: The apartment was really nice and beautiful. Very spacious and clean. The swimming pool was not too far from the apartment. There is no private indoor pool as advertised on the website. It's a shared pool by the whole leisure village. Negative: The kitchen sink was leaking, the electric was not working for the most part of the apartment. Despite reporting this few hours after check in, no one came over to get this fixed throughout our stay. Food in the fridge went bad, we could not make hot food for our little one. Kettle and microwave didn't work.

Great stay, well equipped, exceptionally clean great facilities on site , fantastic for children with a little play area 2 mins from the sort and the pool not much further.

The holiday home isn’t bad but was not cleaned properly and full of pet hair. We left after half an hour due to a pet allergy. No refund for the remaining 3 nights unfortunately, after being assured that the place was cleaned to a high commercial standard. Don’t visit this place if you have high standards of cleanliness.

New Year stay The house is okayish and always warm; however, it was not worth the price. Very close to the property is a leisure centre with a swimming pool, sauna and a gym. They were clean and can always be visited; it just requires pre-booking. The water was warm. We stayed 5 nights. In the cabinet and the pan were mice droppings. The sofa was dirty and dusty, and the dog’s hair was everywhere. Even though I have contacted the agency, nothing was done. No mat was provided in the bathroom, nor was a mop to dry the floor if it spilt. The house only has carpet in the bedrooms. The double bed is too small for two people. Most of the things required to stay out of your home were there. However, there was no decoration and not even the same glasses were provided for six people for a nice dinner. In my opinion, the owner does not live locally, and the cleaning services are not responsible enough.

Bad Positive: Have stayed at this resort a month before unfortunately two different experiences this lodge was dirty stuff in the dishwasher.Also hair everywhere a chewd dog toy under the sofa often running out of hot water bad experience Negative: Disgusting the way it was left

Stayed over Christmas with elderly mother in law Managed to cook Xmas dinner perfectly in the kitchen !! Thank you

Overall our stay was okay. There were 4 adults and 2 children staying over the Easter bank holiday. Positive points were modern decor to the property,comfy beds,playground and swimming pool on site and good location close to Plymouth and other local attractions. Negative points - you need to pay additional insurance (read the small print on the booking). Property much smaller than photos on Airbnb (not really space in kitchen/dining area for 6). My mum described it as the size of a static caravan with nicer decor.Front door jammed and took a while to open with the key. Parking is far and no allocated car parking space as suggested. The property is up a steep incline. This was a challenge with young kids and elderly parents. We struggled a few times finding parking. No toiletries (no hand soap in bathrooms, not enough toilet paper - 2 rolls for family of 6 over 3 night booking.) I'm not sure how well cleaned the property - Beer cans in bedroom bins, dust under sofas.

A nicely decorated and maintained holiday cottage with a superb aspect from the decking towards the River Tamar. Our only issue was the second TV did not work and although our hosts were responsive to our messages nothing was resolved so our teenagers were stuck having to negotiate the family TV. The kitchen was well stocked, a slimline weighing scales would be a great addition. We had a great time visiting in the area, running on park and swimming in the pool. Thank you.

Very beautiful home, not very convenient but quiet location. The heating in the house was well provided. However, there were a few things to note: - we had difficulty locking the main door and thought there was issue with the lock. Contacted the Host and Stay but they were not able to give clear instructions. We only figured it out the next morning how to lock the door. - the host was very responsive in replying to the emails, but no action taken. - insufficient toilet paper rolls provided. Only two 1/2 rolls were provided for 6 guests staying for 2 nights. When we contacted the host, they initially said they only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper, but later promised to send few more the next day, but it didn't happen. It caused so much inconvenience to us. - No access card provided to the swimming pool and gym as stated - The photo of the front of the house should be provided as there were a few steps on slopes to the house which can be difficult for people with disability.

Great communication from the host. super quick and responsive. place looked just like the photos. loved the fact that there were 2 bathroom showers( worked well for a group of 6 ladies) . really great stay, highly recommend. thank you!

Good value for money

Positive: The house is located in a lovely place, with the pool as an extra entertainment for the kids. The house decorations is absolutely beautiful and Morden, with everything that we needed during our stay. Negative: The house had quite a few dog hairs and could smell it too. We had to buy a few sprays to keep the smell off. Other than that, everything was amazing

Facilities (swimming pool and pub) were slightly dated but it was a great location for us to see everything we wanted to Positive: Very modern and clean property, also very warm and cosy considering there was a storm outside

Positive: The whole place was spot on!

Lovely bungalow but it needs a good clean and towels need replacing. It smelt very damp. The facilities on Honicombe site were good. The site itself is in the middle of nowhere so you do have to drive. We had hoped we would be able to walk into Callington but it was further than we thought. There is no iron in the property and we were disappointed that we had to take pictures of the area we were told the iron was in, to prove this. We ended up having to buy one as we went on the understanding we could iron whilst there. Charlie at Host and Stay was very helpful. There are some lovely areas you can drive to and so we have had a lovely week away.

Relaxing and comfortable. Positive: The location was lovely. The bungalow had everything that we required and was very comfortable. It was dog friendly and the leisure facilities were good. The food was good in the onsite pub. Negative: The bungalow could have been cleaner, not quite up to my standard. The games room and swimming pool closed at 7pm which was unfortunate for our 16 year olds.

Wouldn’t recommend it. Positive: The place was clean, beds comfortable, bedding clean Negative: One of our party was partially sighted. This had been made clear at the time of booking. So I was disappointed that the rotten wooden hand rail leading from the road - up a slope - to the house hadn’t been dealt with. It was so rotten that we had to take the loose bits apart and lie them in the ground as it was a hazard. Also there were issues with the WiFi - as we were there working - having no connection was an issue. Lights flickering, extractor fans not working, door handles broken. We weren’t impressed with the lack of care or that the owner didn’t bother to come and address these issues.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday bungalow. The views were absolutely stunning, and the whole place felt warm, welcoming. The beds were incredibly comfy with crisp white bedding and fluffy towels – such a treat! It really was a home from home, with everything we needed and more thoughtfully provided. The host’s instructions were clear and easy to follow, making everything stress-free from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay – highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay

Positive: The apartment was clean and tidy and plenty of space. Reaching out to booking.com the staff couldn't do enough to help. Negative: The instructions sent originally took us to a different place on the site. The indoor swimming pool is tatty and not in good condition. We wanted to then use the outdoor pool but were told it was fully booked despite there being 3 people in. The staff didn't seem to care that people hadn't turned up. This was disappointing.

The only issues were the Lino in the kitchen was slightly loose and was worried about tripping up. There were a few wasps that kept trying to stay with us. This is minor but there was no pizza cutter 🤣 the address was for a number 14, but we were in number 33 which was really confusing and took us a while to figure out the error.

Would never go back! Very dirty! Positive: How comfortable the mattress was. Negative: If it was clean on arrival, if we knew it had steps up to the property. If the furniture aka sofa was clean enough to sit on, if the tv worked. If there was closer parking, if the tumble dryer didn’t overheat and nearly ruin our clothes. If we could get in before 10pm and having to eat on the patio table that was broken and in disrepair!

Klein aber fein Positive: Klein aber fein, man hat alles was man braucht .Auch die Nähe zum Bub, die Ruhe generell und der Ausblick sind sehr schön. Negative: Mehr Reinigungsutensilien wären schön gewesen , zum Beispiel Eimer und Wischlappen. Die aus der Terasse befindlichen Möbel müssten erneuert werden.

Great stay and good location!

Positive: The location was really nice,amazing views over the temar valley. The actual holiday park was tranquil and the staff were friendly. After calling "host and stay" to complain about the state of our accommodation upon arrival the cleaners did an amazing job to get it to a great standard in a short amount of time. Negative: Upon arrival to our accommodation,it was not cleaned from the last people that had been in it. The living area was very dirty,the bin was full in the kitchen with another full bin bag next to it also the dishwasher was still full of dirty dishes. All the bedrooms were still left with dirty bedding on and all bathrooms had dirty towels hanging in them. It was like someone had left an hour before and after a 5+hour drive it was totally unacceptable. And getting offered £40 to have food and drink it wasn't enough for our inconvenience suffered.

I’ve had a lovely time at The Robins Positive: Very clean attractive looking bungalow. It gave us a homely feel. All facilities were provided. Hosts were great with communication.

Positive: Die Ausstattung war prima und die Einrichtung so wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Negative: Das Terrassenmobiliar ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte mal erneuert werden. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr dunkel.

Really great accommodation - warm and comfortable - had everything we needed for our stay

Really nice place, just what we wanted, but a shame it wasn't made clear how to access to pool. Positive: Facilities and comfort - two bathrooms, including a bath, three good sized bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, second tv in one bedroom, comfortable, clean, nice gift on arrival and some tea, coffee, milk sachets to get started with. Good shared leisure facilities within the holiday site. Negative: Hard to get hold of anyone to answer queries until it was too late for the answer to be useful. Too many repetitive and long emails about the booking. The property guide has the wrong wi-fi code in it (although the correct code was available on the router). The property guide also gave the wrong instructions for using the onsite swimming pool, referring to a leisure card instead of the online booking form, and when we contacted the host and stay service they didn't have the right instructions either, so it took a while to sort out.

Well worth a visit property was excellent we had no issues. We will certainly stay there again. Pub on site do amazing f Positive: Clean, well maintained, heating was superb, beds were comfortable. Has washer/ dryer if needed, dish washer etc couldn’t need more Negative: Steps and slope to the property are a bit steep but didn’t cause any problems
