Great property, easy instructions to follow

A sweet little house that's great for a few people to stay in. Close to all amenities you might need, like supermarkets and high street. Some listed items that other reviews pointed out were missing despite asking about these when booking. But after asking again during our stay, the host came by to deliver a bunch of useful items. Neighbours tended to be noisy for hours at night (TV and talking), so I'd recommend bringing some earplugs for a good sleep. Narrow street but always found a parking place. Would come back again!

Overall, our stay was okay. Communication before our arrival was very good—the host was friendly and responsive. The apartment was nice enough, but there were a few things that could be improved. We were five people, but only three hand towels were provided. Thanks for providing the baby travel cot, but unfortunately there were no sheets for it. There was also a bin left on the terrace, which I think was from previous guests. The morning after our first night, the rubbish bag had been torn open (probably by cats), so we had to clean it up ourselves. The apartment looked clean at first, but when we looked under the sofa and behind the bed, it was clear those areas hadn't been cleaned in a while. It would also be helpful to have clearer instructions about where to throw away the rubbish at the end of the stay. A small map would make check-out much easier. Overall, none of these things were major on their own, but together they made us feel that the apartment hadn't been properly checked.

This place is great for staying when the lads are working away. This is the second time the lads have stopped there.

We really enjoyed our stay in Strood! The home was beautiful and truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could need, which was especially appreciated during our stay. Both bedrooms were very spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was beautiful and had all of the necessities we could ask for. The location was also great, with plenty of things to see and do in the surrounding area. The only downside for us was the limited on-street parking. Finding a space in the evenings was quite difficult, and knowing this beforehand, I probably would have opted not to rent a car. That said, this was a minor inconvenience compared with all the wonderful things about the property. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this beautiful home to others visiting the area!

Ao chegar à acomodação, fiquei um pouco apreensiva porque havia várias câmeras e um quintal muito grande, sem fechamento nos fundos. Isso me passou a impressão de que o local talvez não fosse tão seguro e que as câmeras estivessem ali por esse motivo. No entanto, essa foi apenas a minha primeira impressão. A estadia foi extremamente tranquila. A casa é linda, muito bem cuidada e tem uma excelente localização, próxima ao centro. Com certeza voltaria a me hospedar e recomendo o lugar. Como sugestão de melhoria, seria interessante disponibilizar toalhas de banho maiores, pois havia apenas toalhas pequenas para o corpo, e incluir algumas panelas menores, já que a cozinha contava apenas com panelas grandes.

We had a lovely stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made everything really easy from start to finish. The location was perfect for us, quiet and comfortable, while still being really convenient. Rochester was only about a 10-minute drive away, which made getting around and exploring super easy. The place itself suited us really well and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Our stay was very pleasant. The property looked newly renovated. The kitchen was very well equipped. Basics, washing liquid, coffee, tea etc. Toilet rolls, hand-wash etc. The bedrooms were a good size, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom, bath with shower over, hairdryer and hand towels but unfortunately no bath towels, We did have an issue with attaining some towels. The host recommend we go and bye a couple and they would reimburse us, which we did.. Also one of the reasons I booked this little house was it had a bath, but without a plug!! So we had to buy one of those also !! The property was very well located for all the local amenities, Rochester was about a 10 minute walk. Strood high street 3 minutes. A small retail park and supermarkets 2 minutes walk. Strood train Station also only 5 minutes walk. with direct trains to London. We would stay here again Hopefully the bath towel situation is sorted now..

Won’t stay there again Positive: Close to where we was working Negative: Didn’t like the stains and hairs on both mattress covers, fag butts left on the floor in one room and left very uncomfortable by there being a camera in the living room felt like an invasion of privacy.
