I’d describe it as a caravan not a lodge . Master bedroom has a on suite so x2 showers . Also has a dressing room so better than described. The boiler was turned down so wasn’t heating up well till realised so check!! There was a drainage issue and dishwasher leaked but nothing that affected us. Shame to only have x4 chairs to sit at the table when it sleeps x6 Also has an air fryer that was useful and not advertised. We stayed over new yrs so didn’t use the decking but would be lovely during the summer . Over all we had a fab stay. But the extra info would have made it easier when packing .

It was my seasons time staying there as we stayed over Christmas and absolutely loved it. Its warm and cozy and has everything we needed

Great location, excellent communication from host.. lodge is a slight exaggeration it’s basically a posh caravan nevertheless great value for money would stay again

Felt like a home from home, beautifully decorated with lovely details. Would highly recommend. Only down side was my children are older teens and they struggled in the single beds.

Comfortable and clean, great location Positive: Comfortable, well maintained and very clean. The facilities were excellent, especially the range of equipment and appliances in the kitchen! The property was the perfect size for our family of 4 - spacious bedrooms and a large living area. Great location, incredibly handy for a trip to Flamingo Land and local towns that are only a few miles away. Lots of cafes, shops and takeaways nearby Negative: No WiFi available but this wasn't an issue for us - lots of entertainment available on the Smart TV.

Lovely place, super clean and modern. A short drive to some amazing places for hikes.

Pickering 1940s stay Positive: Nice, peaceful location, good property layout and comfortable. Negative: The property would benefit from a more detailed clean. Windows were not cleaned, cooker door with long standing stains and lots of cobwebs in the main bedroom.

Quality location poor attention to detail Positive: Location and quality of the actual chalets Negative: No signage to direct you to the chalet location No information sheet in the chalet Refrigerator was not operating, we were not aware for 2 days and only found the mains switch after searching, it is located away from the fridge unit Not able to access Wi-Fi, password on the router did not work Bedroom wall cupboards had a large amount of dust on them

Very pleasant lodge and park Positive: Stayed at Riverwood lodge for 6 nights whilst our home was being renovated. We had a lovely stay, the lodge and park are very quiet and relaxing. Lovely areas to walk our dog with lots of space. There is a dog play park close by which we used regularly and it’s an easy walk into Pickering. Negative: If crane flies bother you avoid September as there are thousands of them around the lodge and as it was nice weather while we were there we couldn’t open the patio doors as much as we would have liked, obviously it’s nature but something to be aware of. IMO, Could do with a blind in the dressing room.

We arrived in the evening of the first day. Took a few wrong turns even with the link provided. Located Riverside and must say it was extremely clean and tidy. However, the dishwasher was out of order and there was no scrubber 🧽 provided to wash the dishes by hand. Ended up going to the local Lidl to get one. There was no iron or ironing board either and no hair dryer. If this had been mentioned in the email to us, we would have packed these items as well. There was also no socket for us to charge our electric toothbrushes. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay and we would highly recommend this to our friends and family. The cabin was situated in a very spacious site. It was very close to local amenities including a car boot sale which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. The dressing room in the master bedroom was an extremely nice touch. The fact that there were two bathrooms and shower rooms made it much easier. Everything was to a high specification, we had a really good time.

All in all it was just ok, I was not happy that housekeeping did not come and empty the bin or replenish toilet paper. T Positive: Modern and nice decor Negative: It’s too far out , no local shops. I had to either get a bus which runs once and hour or take a taxi to the supermarket which I spent quite a bit of money on

Pleasant convenient place to stay near Pickering Positive: Clean and comfortable with good facilities Negative: Issues with cracked glasses and doors and windows that were either v difficult to open or close or didn’t open or close or at all. Bizarrely one light off the main en-suite bedroom was on all the time, it was as if they had forgotten to install a switch to it. The dishwasher was not working, presumably why it was switched off when we we arrived but we had no way of knowing this was because it was not working. As soon as it was switched on, ot tripped all the electricity. Of course we didn’t know that was what was doing it , but it did mean a day without electricity and some issues with some of our perishables on the fridge

Positive: The caravan and location of the caravan park were excellent. Ideal for travelling to nearby towns. The site was excellent for walks too Negative: More information about the site, like a leaflet with a map of the site, would have been more beneficial. There was supposed to be a restaurant and other entertainment facilities on the site, but we didn't have a clue where it was. The tumblers, bowls, and teaspoons in the van weren't clean, and I had to wash them before I could use them. These are minor faults that could be improved, but this definitely hasn't put us off. We would definitely still recommend and would stay again.

Exceptional Positive: It was as as advertised by the pictures excellent Negative: It was ideal location for our weekend

It was a great place and easy go round especially for kids near the flamingo land we went to outside for walk was great view. the area is very nice and quite kids really enjoy it a lot nice place to see.

We enjoyed our stay Positive: Never had breakfast Negative: We had a problem on first day as electricity was off but it was on next morning and was fine for rest of our stay

Positive: The location was quiet and peaceful except when maintainance team were strimming outside areas Negative: Although facilities generally good, lack of kitchen equipment let it down. Lodge is for 6 people and although 6 sets of plates and cups, only 4 water glasses and 4 wine glasses, no juice glasses. Cutlery, only 4 knives and forks, we had to buy extra sets from a charity shop during our stay. Bedding, although clean, stains on bottom sheets were a bit off putting.

Lovely place to stay, very clean and modern. Excellent location. Would not hesitate to book again Positive: It was so nice, lovely decoration and accessories. Loved the layout. Beds were very comfortable! Perfect location. Negative: The only thing that was disappointing was we could not get access to the WIFI account. We kept messaging the agent and we were told the same message ‘the WiFi details are on the online welcome pack’ but there was no information about any passwords etc.

We had a lovely few days away, accommodation was spotless, cosy, and welcoming, the host was excellent at fast responses to my questions, Brilliant location especially for flamingoland, 7 minutes in the car, lovely restaurant just down the road, shops and takeaway just a short drive away, ( we got a takeaway delivered to us) would highly recommended

Positive: The lodge was lovely and clean and very comfortable ...everything for self-catering if you wish to cook. Negative: Nothing

Beautiful chalet Everything was great other than communication for check in. The link I was sent was broken and the host never responded to phone calls or voice messages or emails to give us the information. We managed to find the actual property by identifying it from photos, we then had to phone around to get the key code as we sat outside the property. This needs to be improved

Lovely quiet spot, all just as described. Clean new easy access.

Perfectly peaceful Positive: Quietness of the site, clean and newness of the lodge. Good facilities and kitchen equipment. The outdoor area amd seating was really good quality again very clean and new. The pictures we received were true to life, didn't expect it to be so new. There are very few lodges around and no shops which suited us. Negative: The single beds were very narrow, these would suit fitted sheets and not flat sheets. The shower tray got full very quickly , may need a look at drainage in the first shower room.

Beautiful and very clean. Looks Exactly as it is in pictures. Plenty of space for everyone.
