Lovely dog friendly stay, close to the beach and cafes/restaurants. Free parking on street. Easy to find and access. Would recommend for a stay in saltburn

Great location for the beach , dog walking and sunsets and sun rise. The front door lock to the flat is sticking so I would suggest a repair but the place had everything you will need .

Would come back to saltburn but not this apartment Positive: The log burner was fab but no equipment poker or gloves. The property was central and good for bars and restaurants. Negative: The property smelt of damp and wet dog. There were signs of damp. The makeover was of good spec but the underlying foundations were poor. The bathroom from the bedroom u had to walk through loung and kitchen

Couple - 2 nights - excellent all round accommodation Positive: Communication - Great information on location, area, how to access property Location - Excellent. Minutes from railway, shops, cafes, beach, local walks Bedroom - spacious, clean, comfortable (though be aware you can feel where the 2 beds are brought together), cosy Lounge - Super cosy, looks and feels welcoming. Great WiFi. Area/table etc to eat at. Comfy sofa. Clean Kitchen - fantastic range to cook meals on, pots, pans, glasses, sharp knives, crockery all more than adequate. Ironing board, kettle and coffee pods. Very homely Bathroom - great size, lovely bath and shower. Good toiletries with lovely aromas. Water temperature very good Ability to easily adjust heat as you wish with heat control panel in kitchen. Excellent value for money Negative: Alll very good

A nice sized apartment for 2 with good facilities. Located in a great spot to enjoy a great town and beautiful surrounding area.

My wife and I were very happy with our stay. Positive: The property was very clean. The furnishings and fittings were of a high quality.

We were absolutely delighted with the apartment . It was close to all amenities, near to the beach and very comfortable. The host and stay team were excellent with their communication. We would definitely visit again. Very good value for money 😄

We had a lovely weekend staying at Riftswood. The flat was clean, modern, and well-equipped. It was also ideally situated, just up from the beach, and close to a number of excellent restaurants (we ate at Alessi's and Coco and Rum, and would recommend both highly) and bars (Signals, The Sitting Room and The Ship Inn being our favourites). Saltburn is a lovely little place, and Riftswood was the ideal base from which to explore it. Thanks very much!

The bath was broken and unusable. Broken fire alarm on arrival. Incessant beeping. Eventually had to climb on a rickety table to unplug it as couldn't sleep otherwise. Health & Safety issue. Poor kitchen provisions, no scissors, no measuring jug, really old and mismatched everything really. Such a shame. Sadly, this host uses bots to communicate. So although the bot promised help immediately, no human checked in properly, nothing was fixed and we were sent round in circles for the entire stay. Very obvious the place has been done up on a low budget to rent out and has been completely uncared for since. Peeling paint & dirty walls in most rooms etc. Location is great, flat is a good size, it's quiet. So sorry to have to leave such an awful review, but the bath was required for medical reasons and the host never even bothered to check in - as a human being would have had empathy for such a situation. Even offered to move as this company has multiple properties & they did nothing.

Great location. Iffy maintenance. Positive: Pros: Location!!! Loved it! Cute decor, clean. Black wash cloths for face/makeup removal Coffee press available Tea kettle- we used it and it worked well. Please note it looked scorched when we arrived. Milk left for morning coffee. Lock box for easy access Able to control heat eventually. Negative: Stay The first night of our stay after a long flight from the US there was a popping sound and every outlet in the house no longer had power. No television, no heat, no internet, no lamps were working. Just the overhead lights were left functioning. After a couple of hours of back and forth with the Host and Stay emergency line wanting to know if the breakers were tripped, we finally found the breaker box located too high to reach. We borrowed a ladder from a neighbour and advised them the breakers were not tripped. They offered to send maintenance in an hour or so. It was getting late, decided sleep was more important than warmth so arranged for maintenance to come at 8am. They did not show. They did in the afternoon and finally the issue was fixed. We requested a review of the amount charged for the first night and morning. Has not been resolved yet Concerns: Window covers in bedroom let in a lot of light which would be fine if not facing the street. Mirrors not in good locations/heights for easy use. Circuit tripped night one and we had no outlets/internet/heat until next afternoon.

Positive: Perfect location, nicely laid out apartment, lovely furnishings Negative: Carpet is dirty, needs a good clean. Wifi code doesn't work, took a while to get the TV to work

Excellent property very peaceful. Saltburn a lovely town. Only minor complaint, as others have mentioned, curtains are needed in the bedroom as the blinds are not adequate.

We enjoyed our stay! It’s such a great spot and our dog loved being so close to the beach!

Lovely modern clean apartment, close to shops, restaurants cafes. Excellent location a short walk to the seafront. Our little dog enjoyed with an enclosed back yard. Would definitely book this place again. The hosts were very attentive with information and communicating right up until we arrived. We were going to go to the shop to pick up some milk, but while inspecting the fridge the hosts had already got us some in, which i thought was a lovely touch. Had a lovely weekend and the weather was on our side well. Thank you very much

Lovely spot, clean and tidy but a bit of wear and tear here and there. Nothing major. The mattress was also very hard, but that could jist be personal preference. Great location snd value though for what we wanted

A Beautiful flat, comfortable and cosy. Immaculate! One tiny issue is the bedroom blinds, the room didn’t get dark at night. A blackout curtain would be so beneficial . I did see other guests mention this. It really needs addressing .

Clean property, well decorated and good communication. We encountered a few issues like bright lights outside bedroom window, no blackout blinds and noise from upstairs made sleeping quite difficult for us. Otherwise we had a nice stay and would recommend

The property had a smell about it. We subsequently found this was coming from the carpets. All if the cutlery and crockery was dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. The toaster was full of crumbs and so was the knife and fork draw. This could be a really nice property if the cleanliness issues are addressed. Very well located for the seafront and local shops etc. Car parking was a problem as there were no dedicated space. It was on the street on a first come basis. So you have the risk of not getting a space and having to search in adjacent streets for spaces. Not ideal with luggage and belongings.

Fabulous house Positive: Absolutely fabulous little cozy house.. clean and sooo comfortable .. everything we needed and so close to the beach and bars and shops ..it was perfect .we even stayed an extra night we enjoyed it that much .

Positive: Location good for what we needed to do. Kitchen got everything you need furniture in good order. Clean and tidy Negative: Got blinds in bedroom window no curtains and there is a street light right outside so as soon as it is light outside was awake very early. Nothing covering windows in kitchen or bathroom. The kitchen window does frost over but still needs something over it to feel warm and homely. . Was very cold inside when we got there .could of put heating on for an hour before checkin time. Radiator in kitchen needs sorting never got hot at all.

We had a lovely stay - great location and lovely apartment. Really nice to have an outdoor area also. One issue would be that there is a street lamp right outside the bedroom window, and not very good blinds, so the room was very bright at night and quite difficult to sleep. The TV and coffee machine also weren’t working which was a shame. We still had a lovely stay though.

We had an issue with the tv and the owners sorted it promptly and brought and installed a new tv. There was nothing wrong with the blind it’s just the position of the street light.

Lovely place, great location, everything you could want and clean. Positive: The layout was great and all amenities of the highest quality. Fixtures and fittings were really great the kitchen had everything you could need (apart from wine glasses! ;)). Quiet location, parking a little taxing at times, but we managed. Negative: Bathroom door kept sticking.

Helpful hints Positive: Convenience comfort and ease of use .loved walk in shower. Negative: Maybe black out curtains as venetian blinds let in too much light at front bedroom ...also the swivel closure on venetian blinds couldn't be accessed by shorter people....the windows were open in kitchen and bathroom and difficult to access to close.

Excellent stay Positive: Really clean, comfortable, handy for beach and train station Negative: In the advert it said there were washing and drying facilities (assuming these were for washing and drying clothes, but there was nothing there for that) Could do with a full length mirror for the ladies the mirror in the bedroom was too high up you had to be at least 5ft 8inches to see your head and the mirror in the living room was also high, where as the mirror in the bathroom was too low and did not swivel.

We had a very relaxing time Dales place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped the bedroom comfortable and the bathroom was excellent and shower was easy to use. The accommodation location was close to the rail station, shops, and restaurants as well as the sea and beach. Finding the accommodation was no problem and getting access and checking in was stress free. Dale took the trouble to keep in contact so would have been comfortable contacting should the need have arisen ( which it didn't). Highly recommended.

Exceptional stay, everything was as shown in the photos and described. Comfortable surroundings and very peaceful. It was very close to local amenities. My only suggestion would be to have a non stick pan, the only frying pan available made it very difficult to cook.

Positive: Great location and great house as well. Very neat and all necessary house items provided. Bed was superb. The upstairs apartment wasn't occupied during my stay, so I can't comment about noise from walking about in the upstairs apartment.

Positive: The location was great, and the place was lovely and clean, a little shabby in places the paint work peeling but i'm guessing age related. Kitchen well equipped. nice space. Didn't realise you could take dogs so may take the furry friend next time she would love it on the beach. Negative: The frying pan was not really useable, we actually bought one to use, No wardrobe space, we had the coats hung up as were a bit bulky maybe some coat hooks and boot rack in the hall then it would work the wardrobe space. Although an actual wardrobe would be a better option. also the Blinds don't really work in the bedroom as the light is outside feels like daytime all night. Black out blinds would be good. Mirror too high in bedroom. wouldn't say i don't like the place though would stay again.

Riftswood Great apartment for a short stay. Ideal location, beach one end of the road & train station the other. Apartment nicely furnished although the oven was wayyyyy too big. Would recommend.

Positive: Location, ease of parking. Negative: Street light right outside bedroom and no blackout blinds, no mirror in bathroom - the picture of Saltburn pier needs replacing with a mirror. Several others have noted this over time, according to the visitors' book. Also evidence of damp to kitchen and bathroom walls, along with musty odour.

Fantastic Location Beautiful place Very pleased No criticism but would suggest a bathroom mirror would be handy. Will be repeat booking the same house when we eventually return to Saltburn. Highly recommend 😁
