Definately NOT 5 Star ! Positive: Leaving the lodge cleaner and tidier than it was in our arrival Negative: Sofa was broken and unusable, mold in shower, neither the screen or parasol on decking worked, hot tud filter was minging and stained wardrobes full of unused bedding, basin in bathroom has make up and shaving whiskers all over had not been cleaned. Staff in JJ's not pet friendly and quite rude
Never again would I stay here :( Positive: The property it self is beautiful Negative: The cleanliness of the property , when we arrived we had a few issues with the owner , we paid a lot to stay in this lodge then we were treated with pay another £30 non refundable or £250 refundable, which would be refunded after my stay, when I left I was then told it will take up to 7 working days for refund, not good enough, place was so dirty , the dining set on the table was so dusty and dirty, the cups and dishes in cupboards had lipstick mark on they have clearly been put in dishwasher and not cleaned properly , there was a stain in the single bedroom bathroom, the bed on the right had a lot of single hairs in(pubes maybe?) wasn’t very hygienic, the bath in the master bedroom leaked too, so overall the place is beautiful but owners nah wouldn’t stay here again, and it was just dirty , there wasn’t even any disinfectant in the hot tub, we checked, the decking was covered in dirt and leafs which we cleaned up our self’s
No major complaints about the location or property. It was comfortable and spacious and as described.
