Enjoyed a pleasant, peaceful stay in Pateley Bridge over New Year. Lots of great walks in the area some of which can be taken from the doorstep. Pubs and restaurants nearby are great. Hosts' communication was very strong. Property was clean, well put together and we found the sofa was absolutely fine for two of us and a pup in the middle!

We stayed for 2 nights with our dog, great little place to stay, very clean, great location with lots of nearby walks. Had everything we needed and also bed was very comfortable. Sofa is a little small to fully relax but does the job for a short stay. Would visit again and definitely recommend.

Property Proved to be Clean and Tastefully Refurbished. Very Central to Several Dale's Walks. Positive: No Breakfast Available as per Rental Type, but the Location was Good for our Personal Needs. Negative: As stated in Comments made by previous Guests. The Sofa is too Small and Uncomfortable, for Diverse Body Sizes. The TV could be also positioned Lower.

The accommodation was immaculate. it had everything that we needed for a 2 night stay. It had a nice, modern and cosy feel. The location was excellent for our needs with an amazing Chinese takeaway around the corner. The only negative was the sofa was very uncomfortable. Great village with lots to do and amazing views of the hills. There was a lovely park on the doorstep and plenty to do in the area. If you are staying at Ramblers Retreat, the small coffee table drawer has plenty of great information on getting out and about.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely few days here. The space had everything we needed and was spotless! Lots to do nearby, pubs, park, restaurant, shop etc. We can't wait to come back, thank you :)

Positive: Tucked out the way with views of the hills and well equipped. Enjoyed our stay . Negative: Settee was to small and hard for 2 people and tv to high on the wall,other than that every thing was great.

Positive: Lovely accomodation. Very clean. Lovely decor. Everything you need.😊 Negative: We were ok but thought could do with better description stating steep 3 story stairs. Anyone with knee or hip problems would find it hard and the floor plan and writing is so small on phone we didn't notice!

We booked this stay for an employee and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location was fantastic, the host was absolutely lovely, and the place was exactly as described. Everything was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. We’d happily book again!

A lovely small, clean apartment perfect for a walking weekend. Lots of nice walking routes nearby. There are shops and pubs nearby. We struggled to find a nice pub meal within walking distance as the two main pubs in the village were more for drinking. We couldn’t get in to Olleys pizzeria without a booking either so ended up with a lovely Chinese takeaway! The apartment has everything we needed a very comfy bed.

Positive: There were no staff .nice accommodation .all we needed .clean .near to facilities to town .bit of a problem with key box .wants some oil on numbers . Negative: Nothing

Very good location and dog friendly. Modern and specious layout. Comfy bed and huge shower. It’s a shame about the sofa - just about big enough for two skinny people, but not comfy to sit on, and would be no good for larger people. My partner ended up having to sit on the dining table seats while we watched tv because the sofa was so uncomfortable for him. Would have liked more than one toilet roll as we were there for 3 nights & my partner has Crohns disease - we ended up having to go out and buy more to last us the full stay.

Nice apartment, conveniently located close to the heart of Pateley Bridge. I'd never normally choose a place that had only on-street parking but I was able to park nearby every time I arrived at the apartment during the week that I was there.

A delightful flat in the beautiful small town of Pateley Bridge. The flat had everything we needed and was like new. We loved our stay and recommend it to anyone wanting the Dales experience.

Lovely convenient location. Positive: The bed was nice and comfortable. Negative: The sofa was uncomfortable and small; the toilet on a different floor to the bedroom was difficult but I should have read the instructions more carefully.

Excellent location for Brimham Rocks, Glasshouses and many more lovely walks. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, we spent our days walking and enjoyed cooking in the evenings, to then relax and watch a film.

We found the property to be clean, tidy, modern and efficient . We also liked the fact that it is in walking distance of all needed amenities including a local small supermarket meters away. Ideal for a couple, nice little place. Thank you

Good location and very clean. Positive: Good location. Negative: Toilet and bathroom not on same floor as bedroom.

Just what I needed! Positive: Nice little place. Well stocked with supplies. Live in the area but stayed with a guest who can’t come to my home. Would stay again. Negative: Light cosmetic damage and could do with a dust. Microwave needs replacing as timer broken. Having to call and wait on hold for 45 minutes to ask for a text with the code was kinda silly.

3 storey stone cottage, centre of village, facilities on hand. On street parking. Recently renovated, very clean & tidy.

I loved Pately Bridge, perfect for exploring. Bolton Abbey and Brimham Rocks were very enjoyable but local river walks were great too. The accommodation was only a few minutes and across the bridge from the lovely little town centre. For dog visitors there is a park and river walk just across the road. The cottage was very neat, spotlessly clean and warm and the bed was very comfortable but I have to agree with the criticism about the sofa. It’s very small and not that comfy. If there was a tv in the bedroom I would have lounged upstairs. An addition of glass tumblers would have been good too. However it was a first solo trip and I had a really nice stay without any anxieties so thank you very much.

Lovely retreat in a great village, not easy to find for first time visitors but luckily, been and stayed before so knew the location,, only downside still is the tiny sofa, room for a larger one, apart from that, clean, comfortable and homely, we will be back again

Een leuk, schoon en modern onderkomen ideaal voor tochten in de Dales. Winkel bij de hand en parkeren geen probleem. Alleen de bank is niet geschikt om te relaxen.

Had a great stay at ramblers retreat . The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The only one thing was the sofa was very small not that comfortable for two adults to relax on .

Private little cottage Positive: Modern clean fixtures and fittings. Negative: The sofa is quite uncomfortable to sit and watch TV. After a long day of walking, something a little more relaxing is needed. A coffee machine is advertised in the listing, however this is not accurate.

Great location, well equipped and very well presented, but way too noisy to say it was enjoyable … perfect for deaf peop Positive: Great location for local services and exploring Nidderdale. Apartment was pristine, well equipped and finished to a very high standard. Negative: Two things: 1) The noise from the extraction plant from the pizzeria behind and the petrol station / supermarket opposite was horrendous, especially when the pizza kitchen fired up. Even with windows and doors closed and earplugs in it was intrusive. 2) The sofa was more like an austere church pew than a comfy seat - not at all relaxing or comfortable.

A really lovely and modern home in a fantastic location. Would definitely recommend!

Such a gorgeous apartment, it looks great in pictures and even better in person. Very cosy, quiet and clean. Very well decorated too. 100% recommend staying here. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Very convenient for us as it was close to the shops and I will certainly book again👍🏽 Negative: Struggled to access the key as we had not received the code. Had to call several times and asked to leave message until eventually someone answered and we requested the code.

Lovely clean apartment situated in a great spot for exploring the surrounding area. Parking a bit tricky due to location but ended up on main road which is close to path leading to premises so no major problem. Would definitely return for another short stay.

After the debacle we got in, after that it was ok apart from the early noise. Positive: It served our purpose once we were in, thank you. Lady who came to see us was very pleasant, thank you Negative: Very noisy traffic, lorries very early in the morning, quite a lot of shouting in the area. We spent 3/4 of an hour trying to get in, phoned Booking .com 5 times & was cut off each time, eventually spoke to a gentleman who was very helpful & eventually they gave us the right code. Not a good start to our break.

Positive: Perfect location, very central close to shops, cafes and amenities. Decor abd furnishing done to a very high standard. We'll equipped for a self catering break. Negative: It was great the only thing I would improve would be a larger more comfortable sofa and the TVi was mounted a little high on the wall but that us being picky of me.. Also we did manage to park pretty close by but I would imagine in high season you could possibly struggle but there's always a public carpark not too far away .

Room is ok but communication with staff is frustrating Positive: the room is small but cozy, bed was comfortable. Negative: The sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on, making it difficult to relax in the living room. The host charges extra money for taking your deposit (the admin charge when they refund your deposit, sounds ridiculous I know) that's not advertised on booking.com. I was furious about this and basically spent over an hour reasoning with them to get the money back.

Le séjour a dû être reporté. Malgré l'entière disponibilité du logement au mois de septembre, ma demande de changement de dates a été refusée. Aucune coopération de la part de cette agence. Je déplore cette attitude à laquelle au cours de mes nombreuses locations, je n'avais jamais dû faire face jusqu'à cette regrettable réservation avec host & stay

It was a lovely stay over alland we very much like the area Positive: The flat was done out to a very high standard, and the location was ideal for us, we managed to find off street parking close to the accomodation. There are good local shops and eateries all within easy walking, and the park is close by to sit in. Negative: it wasnt very clear when booking that we would be charged an extra £10 handling fee when having to leave a £250.00 deposit for damages and that it would take a fortnight for our deposit to be returned it did take the shine off the 2 day short break we had. There wasnt a coffee machine in the property which wasnt a problem but it said there was and the garden veiw is a view of the public park also not a problem, it says carpeted but where the setee is is laminate flooring and was a bit cold for our feet on an evening, the details just need to be clearer
