Lovely place to stay. The food truck amazing great value. Lovely grounds and lovely heated outdoor swimming pool

Good value for sure, cute place, not luxurious at all but have all the basics needed. I was asking if early checkin was available around 2pm instead of 4pm, received a rather cold, from text book, respond saying they need time to clean the place ( bearing in mind check out time is 10am!?!). I turned up at the property at 2 pm anyway and place was ready and i was able to check in. Clearly person dealing with messages had no idea of what was going on at the property level so left an unnecessary bad taste Otherwise stay was ok, cleaning lady turned up sharp at 10am on the day of departure, very pleasant and friendly I must add. Overall I recommend the place, if you dont mind being in a terraced style cottages with communal outdoor space. They have larger more luxurious standalone properties on the same site so would be looking to book those next time I visit the area.

We had a wonderful week staying in Providence cottage, Woolacombe. The cottage was just as we expected it to be. It was well fitted, clean and tidy. The grounds of the location of Willingcott Valley, is stunning, peaceful and beautiful. The whole place is well kept, Children and dog friendly. Having a pool to go to is an excellent! The food van on the site was first class! Thank you Host & Stay and the owner of the cottage for giving us a wonderful week. ps We would definitely stay again!

A huge disappointment. Positive: Nothing Negative: Cobwebs in every room, mould in bathroom and kitchen, a water leak by an electric socket (found by our 7 year old), Booked for four nights but left after only one night. A massive disappointment. Photos speak for themselves.

Had a great stay. Facilities in the cottage and on the site good. Handy location for Woolacombe and other local attracti Positive: We’ll set up, comfortable with everything we needed. Negative: Lacking ability to hang wetsuits out by the property.

We extended our holiday by a couple of nights and chose to stay here. It was a nice cottage overall. When we arrived the heating was on full in a heatwave so the house was exceptionally warm and made the first nights sleep very difficult especially with a baby which seemed unnecessary. The floor boards upstairs and stairs are very creaky and some were loose meaning any small movements could cause our baby to wake up.

Massively Disappointed; Dirty unmade beds and filthy bins on check-in. Positive: Hot water. Negative: We did not have any contact prior to our check-in to inform us of the entry code. Had to sit in a telephone queue for 20 minutes to get the code for the front door. We entered the property to find that the bins had not been emptied. They still had all the rubbish in them from the previous guests. We were also disgusted to find that the bed sheets had not been changed and the beds had not even been made. The property was a mess and felt dirty from the start. We could not relax all weekend because we were living in someone else's mess. Massively disappointed.

Would definitely stay there again Positive: Location was nice and quiet (but the kids were back at school which helped) and central for a lot of surrounding beaches Cottage VERY clean with good facilities such as dishwasher, kitchen equipment, cleaning materials, towels etc Big screen TV was great, lovely surroundings and the shower has the best water pressure I have ever seen. Tea/coffee/sugar/salt/pepper already there (all the things you normally forget when going away!) Negative: Beds were a little firm for my liking. Floor boards upstairs were very squeeky, so no chance of having a cheeky midnight pee without waking everyone up.

Unfortunately, our stay was affected by numerous maintenance issues. The Wi-Fi network did not match the guest instructions and I had to reconfigure the router myself. There was then a separate broadband fault requiring Openreach. The oven had an electrical fault requiring an electrician, the fridge door would not close properly and did not keep food sufficiently cold, and the dishwasher did not clean properly. Most concerningly, the kitchen smoke/heat alarm faulted during the night and was marked for replacement in 2021. We reported this as a safety issue, but nobody attended before checkout. We also only discovered after arrival that pool sessions had to be booked in advance, with very limited availability. Host & Stay did arrange maintenance visits for some issues, but much of our short three-night stay was spent reporting faults, troubleshooting and working around defective facilities. Overall, the cottage appeared poorly maintained and the stay fell well below expectations.

Was in a good location, nice and quiet, lovely surroundings. Everything you needed in the cottage was spot on.

Lovely holiday park near the North Devon beaches. Accommodation had everything needed and was dog friendly. Swimming pool and food van on site which was handy. Was a good stay with the family.

The property is well located in a quiet, although somewhat dated, holiday park. Whilst the main grounds of the park were will maintained, the property and it's front entrance needs a bit of TLC. We had to trim back plants on the front entrance path to get clear access to the front door! Windows were sticking and some difficult to open and close. The Kitchen was generally well equipped, but some oven gloves would have been useful!Good spot for a long weekend.

Beautiful setting, lovely cottage, would have loved to stay longer, but sadly had to go home! Very comfortable, well equipped, and felt right at home! Would definitely recommend.

Had a great few days in providence cottage. very quiet park. Kids liked the pool but the limited use is a shame.

Lovely clean and well presented cottage, perfect for short breaks. Positive: Great location, well presented and very clean cottage. Will definitely book again if possible! Negative: Sleeping back in a double bed compared to our super king took a little getting used to - but thats a little "1st world problem's" isnt it!

Super stay. Lovely house. Great location and facilities. Would definitely recommend and visit again. The shower head falls off when taps are turned off which could be dangerous.

The location of Providence Cottage was perfect - about 10mins from Woolacombe in the car. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and so lovely and quiet. We had fantastic weather so enjoyed our morning coffee outside on the lawn. The cottage itself is well equipped and was nice and clean. Beds were comfy and shower was nice and hot. Host was responsive when we had queries or questions. Would stay here again.

The cottage was amazing, spotlessly clean with everything you need, the surroundings were stunning, peaceful and relaxing, we'll definitely visit again. The service from the team was second to none, replying to all my messages really quickly and helpful also.
