Stayed here for a couple of nights over new year. Spacious house in three levels. The house looked brand new, lots of space for a family. Kitchen was well equipped and the house was quiet despite the train line running nearly underneath it. The location is excellent. You are a very short walk into Knaresborough in one direction and down to the river in another. There is no parking, but I was able to find street parking, however this is limited.
The house was very nice.\nParking is a big problem.\nKitchen shop allow parking for a very high price of £10 per day.\nNearby estate agent said they dont even own the land it belongs to the railway.\nThe only thing that would stop me coming back. And I do need somewhere for January. Im awaiting completion.

The least relaxing weekend ever Positive: The house itself is beautiful, v comfortable and roomy and has everything you need. Negative: Unfortunately I ran into an issue because the neighbours had laid new tarmac at the end of the row of houses and I wasn’t told by Host&Stay. I ran over it in my car and subsequently got a visit from one of the neighbours who was extremely intimidating. I had to close the blinds and lock the doors and my son didn’t sleep that night. The whole visit was ruined after that as I was told I was going to be ‘made to pay’ for what I’d done. I reached out to H&S and got barely any help. The phone number listed appears to go through to an Asian call centre and the guy I spoke to said he’d contact the owner and someone would get back to me but nobody did. To leave a guest in that position for three days was unbelievable to me. I’d never use Host&Stay again.
Accommodation was great, and we were very pleased with our stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The board games provided were a lovely touch and made for great evening entertainment.
The accommodation was great and located in a lovely, quiet area, yet it was incredibly handy for all the local bars, restaurants, and shops. Being just a 3-minute walk from the train station made our trips to the Harrogate Theatre and York Races absolutely seamless. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!
Return to Prospect Place Positive: Great location. Quiet. Comfortable house Easy access Comfy beds. Negative: Lack of a parking place. Lack of kitchen basics such as salt and pepper, cooking oil. TV Remote either faulty or non responsive
Positive: Spaciousness of the house Close to train and bus station. Negative: Whilst the house was NOT dirty,it was NOT 90 quid cleaning fee clean, which somehow I did not notice when booking as I would not have booked. I don't expect to find a previous occupants sock behind the living room curtains, a previous occupants necklace down the side of the settee and when removing seat cushions find dog hairs and some kind of nut being there. How can I possibly add the cleaning cost on to my friends??? So I am out of pocket somewhat our stay WAS enjoyable (thou to say there was a rear patio is like trying to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear !!) And if visiting Knaresborough again I would rebook the accommodation, Minus large cleaning fee and providing the front patio had enough chairs,or bench for all occupants!. I can accept an expensive cleaning fee when Covid was at its peak but not now. I would appreciate it if these comments were kept between Booking.com and Host and stay. When I give a review to Google/TripAdvisor etc it will not contain any of this report. We did enjoy our stay, my wallet not so much !!

An excellent choice in an interesting and sometimes overlooked town. Positive: The location was excellent, within walking distance of interesting pubs and central for other attractions. Very close to the railway station for a short trip to York. Negative: The only problem with the property is the lack of parking. There is parking very close to the property but it is not free. For a stay from late afternoon on Wednesday until early Saturday morning it cost £30. It would be much better if the owners cut a deal with the owners of the parking.

A fantastic place to stay right in the middle of Knaresborough, it felt like a real home from home. Spacious rooms, comfy beds & well equipped. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Knaresborough.

House is spacious and bright and really well located. Though general vibe of house as well as interactions through Airbnb quite corporate/lacking personal touches because it's run by a holiday home company. Company prompt at replying to queries over chat/email but seems to be semi-automated or AI-assisted which was a bit frustrating because it meant the replies weren't always very helpful. But overall enjoyed our stay.
Schöne Unterkunft im Herzen von Knaresborough Positive: Wir waren über Ostern hier zu Gast und fanden eine saubere und freundlich eingerichtete Unterkunft vor. Wir empfanden die Einrichtung als sehr komplett und komfortabel. Auch die zentrale Lage in Knaresborough ist sehr gut, alle interessanten und wichtigen Orte der Stadt sind auch zu Fuss sehr gut zu erreichen. Negative: Eine Anleitung für die Bedienung der Heizung wäre hilfreich
Back home to Knaresborough Positive: The comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms. Excellent bed linen . Good sized living room and kitchen. Good location not far from the rail station and short walk to the town centre. Negative: Lack of parking space.
We had a wonderful experience staying here. The stay was beautiful and cozy and the view from the under roof bedroom was unreal.
Perfect spot, we visit Knaresborough regularly as my sister lives near by and needed extra accommodation from Boxing Day onwards. It was so lovely and felt homely! Beds super comfy! Great spot and not far from anything. Thank you!
