Cute, period property with plenty of space for a family get together. Has everything you need and really well located.

GuestAirbnbSep 2022

Great cosy cottage - close to the beach and Saltburn centre. Very well equipped with plenty of on street parking available. The upstairs rooms do have low ceilings/beams but they were perfect for our kids.

GuestAirbnbJul 2022

Clean house with everything we needed for a family holiday. The owners were very responsive.

Fun by the sea! This was a beautiful, light and airy property. It was perfect for a family and really well equipped for those who were keen to self cater. We were really impressed by the quality of the property, including bedding and towels. The children really enjoyed the little garden. It was a short walk to town and we enjoyed the delights of Saltburn. We had a great few days.

Location is great and the house has been nicely decorated, I really liked the cottage feel and the open plan dining, living room. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. It is an old property and the carpets, windows and doors seemed quite old. It smelt a bit musty when we first arrived but it was OK after a day or so of living there. Windows are single glazed but you are on a quiet road and it was warm weather when we were there. It was a bit dusty in places, under the sofas (we have small children so had to collect toys from under them a lot!) and inside some of the kitchen cupboards, mugs that obviously weren't used much etc. Overall we enjoyed our time in Saltburn and the house was nice enough but could be cleaner.

Weekend at Saltburn My family had a fab stay at Rosebank Cottage in Saltburn. It was in a great location, a close walk to town and the sea. The property was a great size for us with teenagers and the garden was great for the dog. Communication was prompt and clear even though we booked last minute! Will definitely be back-Saltburn is beautiful.

A comfortable cottage in a good location Rosebank Cottage is in a good location close to the town and the coast (although it is a fairly long uphill walk from the promenade & the lift wasn't working). Due to the current situation we took all our food & drink and the cottage was well equipped for us to prepare meals. We called for drinks in the local bars & restaurants which are in easy (& flat) walking distance and were well organised. The cottage has 3 bedrooms & we used the one downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms are in the eves of the house and may be a bit tight if 6 adults are using the cottage. Overall we had a good stay as a couple and found Saltburn-by-the-Sea and surrounding area a delightful place to walk and explore.

Positive: Good location, decorated in line with the period of property. Good stocked kitchen of utensils, plates etc. Good parking outside and road was quiet. Negative: Hand towels put in the 2 restrooms but no hand towels for use after a shower (ladies wrap hair). The steps at the front would really benefit from a handrail as there are split levels and it's easy to lose sight of that when fiddling with the key store etc. Elderly parents found it a challenge and safety is important, especially if icey. Property does need modernising/updating and has damp patches on the walls due to leaks. Hot znd cold taps drliver water opposite to stated. The smoke detector had been removed in one bedroom and left on the side and needs refitting. The upstairs has sloping low roofs and we all banged our heads on the beams. The upstairs toilet is so tiny you can't stand up properly in it. Bedrooms have glass doors so no privacy. Property single glazed and felt a little chilly. I don't think we would stay again as there are better properties on offer.

GuestAirbnbSep 2026

We loved the mix of retro and modern furnishings. The lounge area was spacious and sofas were comfortable. The beds were very comfortable although the pillows were a bit high and some did not have pillow protectors. The kitchen was well equipped although there were no table mats to protect the dining table. The garden was private and we were able to sit outside in the sunshine. The location info sent by Charlie was very useful. The negatives would be the low ceilings upstairs, we had a few bumped heads. It was impossible to reach the velux windows without standing on the beds. Taps were incorrectly labelled in the main bathroom but hopefully that will be sorted out.

So perfect for our needs with a bedroom & bathroom on the ground floor. Perfect interior, felt classy & modern.. with interior decor giving nods to the seaside location, Comfortable, clean .. excellent communication with the owner.. who answered all my questions quickly.. highly recommended, we would 100% return to this location & this house.

AlisonBooking.comAug 2026

Comfortable and convenient Positive: Its location Negative: No microwave, chopping board , scissors and TV freeview

SusanVrboAug 2026

The property is well located for town and beach, both a short walk. It was a peaceful residential area and quiet at night.Quirky set out which we liked. Nice garden to enjoy sitting out. The beds were comfortable with fresh linen, on first entry rooms on the surface clean. We each had a clean bath towel, but no hand towel other than one in each bathroom. Taps span round, and toilets leaked, woodwork needs maintenance and painting.Sadly, the property did not look as shiny as the pictures, general surfaces were clean but this needs a good deep clean throughout and furniture either replaced or revamped. Cupboards were grimy, cobwebs throughout. No microwave as advertised. This property should not have been let out in this state.

SheilaVrboAug 2026

A lovely old property in a safe and cared for area of Saltburn within 15 minutes walking distance of the beach.

GuestAirbnbJul 2026

This was a great little quirky house in a great location. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stop here again. Absolutely love the area, and the bus links are great, particularly with the holiday pricing for the kids. We had a really enjoyable stay - just wished we'd have booked for longer.

GuestAirbnbApr 2026

We enjoyed our short stay at the cottage, beautiful house and garden. Just 10 mins walk away from the main beach and lots of things to do!

GuestAirbnbAug 2025

Lovely accommodation. Quiet peaceful location. Would definitely stay again

GuestAirbnbMay 2025

Such a lovely cottage! Was lovely and clean, very well decorated and so cosy - we felt like we could live there! Great location 5minute walk into Saltburn town with lots to do nearby and lots of recommendations given by the host. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful, quaint place to with everything you need Positive: Beautiful, quaint place to with everything you need Negative: It was lovely nothing to complain about

GuestAirbnbApr 2025

We enjoyed our stay in Saltburn. The house is in easy walking distance of the town and sea front and the area is quiet. On-street parking can be quite tight but we managed to find a space around the corner. The house has a nice private garden at the back - lots of birds and a table to sit out at. The house is quite comfortable but a few things do need some attention - the dining table chairs are rickety and have certainly seen better days (one chair completely collapsed when the leg/frame became unattached). The extractor fan in the kitchen is out of use and windows in the kitchen/lounge don't open but it's possible to open the back door to get some air through. Considering the price paid, it would have been nice if the host had been more generous with things like dishwasher tablets (only 2 provided), tea-towels (1 provided), kitchen hand towel & kitchen sponge (none), no oven gloves provided. Nice place but definitely room for improvement.

GuestAirbnbApr 2025

We had such a lovely stay at Rosebank. It was our first visit to Saltburn by the sea and this cottage was the perfect base to explore. We felt right at home at and loved the cottage feel. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was easy to cook in and living space made mornings and evenings an enjoyable place to be. When we return to Saltburn we hope to stay again. Thank you for having us.

JamesBooking.comMay 2024

Easy to maintain and a very good location Positive: Good location with everything you needed Negative: Had to immediately go out and buy toilet roll the evening we arrived as there was only one in the downstairs toilet

JulieBooking.comJan 2024

We had a lovely stay here, would love to return Positive: Lovely cottage, very homely, well stocked, very comfortable, good location Negative: The shower would benefit from more power

RhysVrboSep 2023

Really enjoyed our stay We had a lovely stay in Rosebank Cottage. Very central location and the property was clean and tidy. The website doesn’t mention that a deposit needs to be paid beforehand so one thing to consider if you’re staying.

RogerBooking.comSep 2023

We enjoyed the resort and enjoyed the stay but would not go back to this property. Positive: The location was ok. Negative: The key box is faulty and it took a lot of getting into. The front door lock is faulty and doesnt always open. The back garden doors are far from secure. The bathroom is very dated and unsuitable. Sealing around the bath ugly and worn out. To many emails from the host. Continually going back and forth. Made it complicated to book.

JoanneBooking.comAug 2023

Positive: Lovely cottage well decorated very homley. Very quiet location. Close to town about 10 minutes walk. Cute little garden with seating area. Really comfortable beds. Lots of towels available. Lower floor twin room two doubles in roof space, not great for tall people. Upstairs loo also. Loved our stay. Perhaps not for young party people as quiet residential area. Everything available for great stay. Communication with host brilliant. Love Saltburn summer or winter. Negative: Only on road parking not an issue for us. Two first floor rooms at in eaves be careful if tall, I banged my head on regular basis. Not super modern more cute and quaint.

CalBooking.comAug 2023

Positive: Loved the little snug in the back garden, and the sofas and beds were comfier than other places we've stayed.

GuestAirbnbMay 2023

The property was lovely however it was badly looked after. Rugs, sofas and cushions badly stained. When we arrived the property was not clean (hair and mould in fridge, crumbs all over kitchen and dirty toilets). However once cleaners arrived once more it was much better. The property is in a great location but the £90 cleaning fee was extortionate considering it was unclean.

GuestAirbnbApr 2023

Great location, comfy beds and lovely house.

GuestAirbnbOct 2022

Clean, comfy, well equipped. Upstairs was a bit low so don't advise for over 6 footers, put them downstairs.

Review Good location and nice property

GuestAirbnbAug 2022

This is a lovely cottage only a 10 minute walk away from the beach and a 5 minute walk from the station. We had a great time here but prospective guests should be aware of two things. 1. The ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms (the two doubles) and the toilet are sloped and quite low. I'm only 5' 8"/172 cm tall and I hit my head several times. 2. Guests must agree to the Superhog guest agreement (superhog *dot* com/superhog-guest-agreement/) in order to stay here. In particular clause 5.7 stipulates that a "photographic record" must be taken in order to protect guests from being blamed for damage.

GuestAirbnbAug 2022

fantastic base at saltburn. we will definitely be back.

christineBooking.comJul 2022

Holiday Positive: Location good. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. No problem with street parking Negative: Minor irritations:shower "tripped" three times Cobwebs in upstairs toilet Pint of milk left in fridge was out of date This did not detract from holiday, overall experience was good

GuestAirbnbJun 2022

Great stay! The street was very quiet and within walking distance to the beach. Well stocked shop at the end of the road too! We had a toddler, teenagers and grandparents with us during our stay and everyone enjoyed it. The bonus addition of Netflix went down well with the children

leanneBooking.comJun 2022

Positive: Lots of space, excellent location. Nice to have garden space. Well equipped. Rooms comfortable... mattresses really comfy! Negative: Oven not working and leak in upstairs toilet. Stairs really steep and no handrail on top half... should be in description, also head height in upstairs bedroom and toilet not good. Manageable but again should be mentioned as we are all shortish but tall people would struggle.

GuestAirbnbMay 2022

Great little cottage in a great location!

PhoebeBooking.comApr 2022

amazing wish we were there longer! Positive: everything it is a very nice and well kept property Negative: the floor boards in the top bedroom to the left of the stairs felt like they were going to go through when stepped on, pillows just a little too high

SamVrboJan 2022

Lovely Property Great house, well equipped and perfect location. On street parking was no issue as it’s a quiet road.

GuestAirbnbJan 2022

It was a lovely cosy place to stay within walking distance of everything we needed.

GuestAirbnbJan 2022

Local to all amenities - great location and parking. Private garden and homely interior.

GuestAirbnbJan 2022

The cottage provided us with a homely place to meet with our northern relatives . We had an enjoyable stay. Tall people might like to dress in the nice warm downstairs bathroom to avoid the beams in the dormer bedrooms. The description in accurate and the cost fair.

GuestAirbnbDec 2021

This was a lovely, comfortable cottage, great location for shops and beach. Clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds and the enclosed garden was fabulous for our dog. All in all a lovely stay, we would recommend to others. Many thanks!

JonathanBooking.comDec 2021

comfortable and enjoyable stay Positive: spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Negative: the shower pressure was poor

LindseyVrboNov 2021

Comfortable and good location Close to town and the beach, clean comfortable property

GillianBooking.comNov 2021

Mini Break Positive: Well situated for the town. Negative: No working WiFi. No TV signal so whilst smart TV couldn’t use it. No alternative e.g DVD player. Problem with upper toilet that whilst fixed when reported still didn’t flush.

HollyVrboOct 2021

Lovely property a real home from home! We recently stayed for a long weekend at Rosebank, the property is really well located and a short walk into the centre of the town. The property is really well equipment and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The communication from the owners was excellent and I would definitely recommend this property.

GuestAirbnbSep 2021

We had a lovely stay here. Very homely and cosy. Finding parking was no issue at all. Beds were so comfortable. It was perfect for our very sentimental family get together. Super close to the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

GuestAirbnbSep 2021

Lovely property, spacious well done out and nice private garden. Steep steps at front to access property. Board games in cupboard. Thankyou for the milk.

GuestAirbnbAug 2021

Really lovely bright house. Nice quiet garden, on a quiet street. Great location. Perfect for families. Well equipped kitchen. Very enjoyable stay.

GuestAirbnbJul 2021

Lovely dormer bungalow, furnished really tastefully. Beds very comfortable, location fantastic for access to the beach and restaurants but still a nice peaceful position.

Good base for local area Property was in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes walk from the beach. Clean and good size for 4 adults

RainaBooking.comJul 2021

Positive: So comfortable and beautifully styled. It was also immaculately clean. Beautiful property. Negative: N/A

GuestAirbnbJun 2021

Great location to the town and beach, lovely little house and perfect for us 4 adults and 2 toddlers.

lynnVrboJun 2021

Rosebank Delighted, everything was very clean and just perfect for us. many thanks.

GuestAirbnbMay 2021

Perfect location, only 5 mins from the seafront. The bungalow has everything you need in the kitchen. The Bungalow is in need of renovation, big cracks in the walls in the livingroom and the bathroom needs some TLC. We went as a family and the bedroom layout wasn’t ideal. The two double beds upstairs were under the eves , which resulted in a few banged heads. It’s described as two bathrooms, only one shower.

GuestAirbnbMay 2021

Amazing cottage and perfect location, the fish and chip shop around the corner is excellent with shops close buy for any essentials. Walking distance from the prom, beach and small town centre with some lovely shops. The cottage is bright and has all the comforts of home. Reading other reviews we did take eye masks to ensure a good nights sleep, this is more so in the downstairs bedroom, there are shutters but the top ornate windows let in a lot of light. Upstairs the blinds work well. We will definitely book to stay again.

GuestAirbnbApr 2021

Lovely cute place, cant complain about anything. Both of us loved it

GuestAirbnbApr 2021

Lovely cottage in a good location near to centre of Saltburn. Well fitted and furnished. Secure and south facing garden. We always found street parking, strong WiFi and close to local shop, vets and Fish & Chip shop! Definitely recommend

GuestAirbnbJan 2021

Great place with good amenities, bigger than it looks in pictures. Cute vintage theme. 5/10min walk from the beach. And the company were really fast to response to all communication. Really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! It was so cosy and had everything we needed for a family weekend away. The beach was gorgeous and I would most definitely recommend STAY and book again in the future 😊
