Won’t use the company again. Basic facilities not up to a reasonable standard Positive: Good location for Brighton. Two bedrooms and and living room. Negative: Greeted with a large hole in the landing ceiling following a water leak. Had been covered by a sheet, but half of it had come away. Water pressure on shower and bath was so bad meant a family of four had to share bath water which took half an hour to fill about 3 inches. Really disappointed.

lovely little flat. perfect palce to stay for easy access to the seafront and Brighton shops. lovely pubs just round the corner. good local amenities. flat was clean, uncluttered and had all basic mod cons. comfortable beds and a good, hot shower. only downside for me was annoying door handles that wouldn't stay shut on bedroom and toilet doors. not really an issue for us as we were all family.

Lovely location The property is nicely located near the beach, bus stations, coffee shops and (God forbid the hospital if needed) - The property manager was very fast at responding. I would not recommend the property for elder people with knee issues. My husband, my daughter and I found it fun to climb the 53 steps however i can see it being tough for older people. Overall a great location.

Nice flat let down by big hole in ceiling and boiler issue Positive: Nice decor good location Negative: Big hole in ceiling in hallway covered with a thin piece of plastic held onto ceiling with pins. Massive draughty coming through when windy and aesthetically very unattractive. Boiler did not work initially and had to google what might have been wrong with it. It needed resetting. Bits of birthday cake on carpet in lounge when we arrived

Brighton stay for nine nights Overall a good stay. Kitchen was well supplied and we enjoyed cooking our meals. The flat was advertised as havng a refurbished bathroom but there is a plumbing problem and the shower/tub does not drain properly. The shower wall leaks and water puddles on the floor beside the shower. I notified the host after we used the shower for the first time. We stayed for nine nights and the plumbing problem was not fixed during that time.

Positives: clean and light clear instructions (easy heating, hot water etc) great location Negatives:- inflexible check in and check out times- some damage to the property which wasn’t mentioned in listing - could hear neighbour clearly through the floor

Positive: Very nicely furnished and a surprise to find a washing machine which was not advertised Negative: The water pressure is absolutely terrible

Brilliant location, exceptional transport links, lovely apartment if housekeeping is sorted out. Positive: Location was excellent, with frequent transport links into the city centre via the pier. Parking booked in advance and was a 7 min walk to the property. Top floor flat was very very spacious. Both bedrooms had sufficient wardrobe space and chest of drawer units. Living room sofa is very comfy and is L shaped. Dining table seats 4. Information pack a useful guide to checking in and out, and contact details should you encounter any issues. Kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery, toaster, microwave, and fridge. Bathroom is separate to the toilet. The managing agents respond well to any issues/complaints both by phone or email and were very responsive. (They offered their thanks for our patience, but no offer of recompense which was disappointing but we didn't push it). It just reflects on future booking decisions. Negative: There is no lift so you have to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to the top floor apartment - with luggage! Then you open the door to the flat, faced with another flight of stairs to access the rooms. (I should have asked beforehand, but it would have been good to know this info on the actual description of the apartment). Perhaps ask Booking.com to add this? The living room windows are great to have open, but good luck trying to shut them. It's not straight forward and needs super strength for the sash window, and the double window is more luck than judgement. Toilet has no lock, the bolt needs replacing as it's a half bolt and doesn't secure. The bathroom light flickers for approx 6 mins before steadying so be aware if you have light diversity issues. The shower is poor and is like fine rain even if you adjust the shower head. There is no anti-slip bath mat. The shower glass screen hasn't seen a cleaning product in a long time and if you move the screen back or forward you really question the housekeeping standards. This was the worst bit of our stay - not acceptable and the owner should bring the contractors to account. On arrival the previous visitors had left the bins full of food waste (cheese and eggs) which had begun to decompose, and the bathroom bin full of waste. Again housekeeping called into question about ensuring the apartment was clean and sanitized ready for the new visitors. Wardrobe in bedroom 1 was used to chuck previously used towels in along with the used linen holdalls so I didn't really want to hang my clothes in there. The coffee machine was full of used pods which had not been cleaned so we decided on a no no. Yes we could have cleared it and cleaned it but......... not what you expect when you arrive after a 3 hour drive. Info pack was sticky page after page and again not anywhere near clean.

Ein absolut solides Appartement Positive: Das HOST&STAY-Appartement liegt im Stadtteil Kensington, zu Fuß ca. 30 Minuten in die Innenstadt von Brighton und nur ein paar Meter vom Meer entfernt. Es liegt in einem Gebäude im obersten Stock, über Treppe erreichbar und man sollte einigermaßen fit sein. Die Wohnung ist sauber und bestens geeignet für max. 4 Personen. Toilette und Bad sind getrennt. Das Bad ist relativ klein, aber ok, die Dusche über einen relativ hohen Badewannentritt erreichbar. Wer längere Haare hat , sollte sich beim Duschen Zeit nehmen, da aus dem Duschkopf leider nur ein spärliches Rinnsal kommt, aber das Wasser ist immerhin warm. Wir hätten uns zwar ein bisschen mehr Standardausrüstung gewünscht (Klopapier, Salz, Zucker), aber in der Nähe ist ein Coop-Markt. Negative: Leider ist die Parksituation in der Nähe der Wohnung problematisch, da nur wenige verfügbar sind und die in der Regel nur für kurze Parkzeiten angeboten werden.

Nice apartment in a good location, not clean though Positive: Overall the apartment was pleasant, in a good location and was comfortable Negative: The apartment had not been cleaned before we arrived. The skirting boards, door panels and furniture were covered in dust. There were makeup marks on the pillow cases and dressing tables. The wine glasses had remnants of wine in them and we had to wash all of the cutlery and crockery. The carpets had not been vacuumed. Disappointing considering we paid a cleaning fee and it would have taken less than 2 hours to make that a lovely clean apartment

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Beautiful location and easy to get in and out of Brighton town centre. The flat was very peaceful and comfy. Dale and Charlie were very responsive to our questions and queries throughout the weekend. We’d definitely stay again.

Wonderful flat in great location Positive: What a wonderful flat. Spacious rooms, very clean and perfectly equipped with everything you need. Great location and within easy walk of the pier, town or the marina. Excellent host communication too. Paid parking close by. Negative: Nothing we didn’t like, however if you don’t like stairs, being on the top floor might not be a suitable choice.
