Lovely spot right by the sea. Great location to explore the beautiful county of Northumberland

Originally booked for 5 nights but extended our stay to 8 nights in total. A lovely house very convenient for the harbour. Home from home, and well maintained. It was warm and cosy to come back to each evening after days out exploring the area. Fascinating to watch the waves along the pier. Lots of lovely coastal walks and along the River Coquet. I would definitely rebook. Host & Stay were excellent too, I found the property on AirBnb and that’s how I found out about Host & Stay and their other properties. All in all an excellent experience

Positive: The property is better than described - it's a lovely, well modernised, end of terrace house that looks across a green to the sea / harbour area. Amble is a great location with several good restaurants and pubs - superb seafood! Negative: You're dealing with a booking agent and all of their communication appears to be AI generated which isn't helpful. Despite being locally based company, they gave the impression of being a call centre and used a very strange payment website which appears to be US based. At one point, I wondered if it was a scam of some kind and I think this may put some people off booking. It's definitely not a scam but I think they need to address these issues.

Beautiful two bedroom terraced house in the delightful port of Amble. Right by the beach, pier and port area where the Sunday morning market is held. Nice pubs and cafes nearby. Perfect location and the views from the dunes over to Coquet Island as the sun comes up are just stunning. The food at The Fish Shack is particularly good. Brewis Beer Co has a fantastic taproom if you like craft beer: it is only a mile to walk and they have a rotating list of street food trucks. Warkworth is also walkable and it is a very nice little market town with lovely shops and pubs as well as the castle ruins. Just lovely

Lovely stay over new year at Pier View. Great house, very well equipped. Although worth knowing that, surprisingly, there was no freezer (despite one being included in the listing).

Lovely spot! Ideal location . The house itself was spotless and had everything we could have needed for the duration of our stay. Confy beds meant we had a super nights sleep . Well worth the money. We are planning to return. Thank you

Great place to stay. Great dog walking and lots to see in the area. Positive: Clean, comfort and a great location Negative: The shower was unpredictable, hot one minute and cold the next.

Great communication as had an issue whilst at the property. Very clean. Would have been nice to receive milk biscuits etc but never mind. Wonderful view across to the harbour early morning and great location.

Clean and comfortable.A good location in Amble by the sea and a short walk to seafood restaurants on the quay.Easy paking outside front door gave us no problems.

This is our second stay at this property. The location is perfect, lovely views and easy walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants in Amble. Parking is outside the property and even though there is a busy car park opposite we have never had trouble getting parked. Lovely comfortable place to stay.

Lovely house, perfect location. Local shops, beaches and lovely views all nearby. Loved that it had a backyard with a padlock. We were able to walk our bikes up on here when we weren’t using them. Also, there is a freezer and tumble dryer in the shed which were extremely handy! Everything you need inside, master bedroom bed was very comfortable!

We were staying two nights only. Sadly, the shower was unreliable. It suddenly ran cold in the morning and in the evening it never got hot at all or even warm. We left early the next morning so we didn’t contact them until after we had left. So our tip is to contact Host and Stay even if it’s at night if you have an issue as they were not very helpful after checkout had passed.

A Great Place by Amble Harbour Positive: The comfort of the place, the facilities and the nearness to the harbour. Negative: Nothing much, to be honest. It was a lovely stay.

A clean and very well refurbished cottage. Very comfortable.

Lovely little house with everything you could need for a few days away and was pristinely clean. Location is perfect, lovely views out over the sea. Plenty of local cafes, pubs and restaurants in walking distance and lovely walks. On street parking wasn’t an issue either, we managed to get right outside the front door every day. We stay in the area regularly and would definitely return.

Pier view had everything we needed for a great stay. Clean, warm and comfy. Excellent bedding and towels. Able to park directly outside house every day. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Pier View was in a great location, and was clean. However, we did have issues with the property management company, Host & Stay which spoilt our stay. On the second day we had an ant infestation in the kitchen. We supplied photos and video evidence, to which Host and Stay advised they would send maintenance to address the problem AFTER we had checked out! Fortunately, AirBNB took this more seriously, and immediately issued a partial refund under their health and safety cover. Host and Stay do not provide a welcome pack (only coffee/uht milk sachets), toilet roll is poor quality and the shampoo/showergel was one sachet for three people with a tiny bar of soap for hand washing. The Freeview TV in the lounge has poor reception so the screen is often pixelated and mainstream channels are not available. The outdoor furniture is rusty and covered in bird poo and there is no freezer as per the listing. Disappointing stay!

Nice stay , friendly town.

Positive: Great house in a great location. Very clean and had everything you could need when travelling with children. Negative: Frequent automated communications from the managing company (Host & Stay) were a nuisance. They use multiple channels to try and upsell things, remind you of the damage policy or sell insurance waivers. Nothing to let you know they are taking the payment though.

Positive: Superb location Negative: Nothing, couldn’t fault it.

Lovely cosy house with everything you need for a great stay. Walking distance to shops, pubs and eateries. Great views from the house of Little Shore and the harbour.

Thank you so much as the place was lovely, clean and warm when we arrived. The snow and wind came the next day which had an impact on what we could do but we were glad to just chill in the property. One thing I would say is a curtain over the front door would certainly improve the temperature in the hall way going up stairs . But apart from that it was lovely. Thank you we will book again

Great holiday in Amble, cosy house close to the beach and all shops etc.

Perfect location, could benefit from a new carpet in the living room and a deep clean. Cars parking up in the carpark op Positive: Perfect location Negative: Needs a deep clean , dust and marks on all skirting boards and doors

Very enjoyable stay with excellent views.The property is in an excellent position to walk to all ares of the town. We were able to park right outside the house due to the polite no parking notice in the window. Beds were comfortable along with clean and very fresh bedding and towels. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked with almost everything you could need to cook with. Worth noting is the fridge freezer and tumble dryer in the garden shed. All in all a really enjoyable stay just not long enough though.
