stayed for my 65th birthday weekend Positive: beautiful apartment ,very cozy ,I went for my 65th birthday with my husband,my sister and brother in law,we all had a great time and panet park is beautiful, great location, we slept well and the tea ,coffee and milk were much appreciated after a long journey, thankyou so much . Negative: They wernt anything that we disliked ,it was great 👍

Enjoyed our stay, great location, enough room for the 2 of us 😊 Positive: Nice comfy lounge, kitchenette, comfy beds, great shower. Negative: Carpets were dirty, sink blocked in bathroom, heating was turned off-no instructions or guidance to turn it on, same with induction-instructions would’ve been helpful. Very minimalistic on 5 tea bags, 10 milk sticks, a drop if watered down w up liquid, 1 tea towel, 1 loo roll. Would’ve liked extra of those & an oven cloth as a minimum. An air fryer would’ve been really useful.

Comfortable, spacious flat in a great location. Positive: Size ideal for two people, bright and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Bathroom had excellent shower. TV had Freeview, Netflix and YouTube. Communication with Host and Stay was effective and timely. Parking outside thr flst was appreciated. Negative: Some of the furniture (dining table, sofa) were ‘tired’. Bed mattresses could have been more comfortable. As a suggestion, a draining board, washing up brush, more wipe down cloths and tea towels could have been provided.

What a beautiful apartment! The apartment was exactly as described and worked well for my family. The apartment was very clean, comfy beds and a super shower. We loved having a washing machine and dish washer for the week too! The apartment was in such a great location, we could easily walk to the beach or the town and my children loved having a park across the road. We were lucky enough to park outside the apartment for a few nights or we parked further up the street some nights which was free parking. We will definitely be back to stay!

We booked quite last minute for a mini honeymoon getaway with our 2 children. The apartment is in an excellent location, we were easily able to walk into the town/beach etc. there’s a brilliant park directly opposite with play area which was great for the kids. The flat was clean, tidy and well stocked with everything we needed. Communication beforehand with the host was great. We managed to get parking on the street outside (although this was quite busy). We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area that this would be a great place to stay!

Great location but if cleanliness is your thing don't stay here Positive: Great location, a stones throw from the harbour without a big climb. Photos almost as advertised. Bedrooms quiet. Full kitchen. Good shower. Negative: Very dirty/ poor housekeeping. Our puppy found a random tablet AND someone's hair under the bedroom drawers. Bathroom sink blocked, cobwebs in most corners , the plants in the living room could be used as a guest book & kitchen cupboards clashing with each other. Toilet seat was just a seat - no lid. Dead spiders in the bedding.

The apartment was a great stay for a small group of friends. It was clean and the company provided quick feedback throughout our booking. A short 5 minute walk into town so a great location.

The best thing about this property is the gas central heating and hot water - we were able to keep warm and have lovely hot showers after a day out walking and exploring. The entire apartment was very tidy, other than the terrace that was accessed from one of the bedrooms. Housekeeping had missed that the previous tenant had left their black bin liner of rubbish there and it was rummaged by foxes overnight leaving lot of rubbish scattered all over the terrace. Housekeeping could only come the next day, so we had to clean up the rubbish as it was unhygienic and to ensure the foxes did not come back. The kitchen is fairly well equipped; there was washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, but you need to bring your own washing tablets/liquid for the washing machine, cling film and foil. The hosts were contactable, responsive and helpful.

The apartment was clean, comfortably furnished, and well located for access to Whitby. The bed was very comfortable & all the appliances worked well. We had a lovely couple of nights & discovered new parts of Whitby such as the cinder track. The only disappointment was the park opposite (one of the reasons we chose the apartment) doesn't allow dogs. Other that it was all good.

Fantastic home from home. Highly recommend as prefect for walking distance into the harbour and town centre. Positive: Location was excellent for walking into the harbour and town centre. Apartments was clean, warm and comfortable. Had great nights sleep. I would never have guessed it was a pet friendly property as it was so clean and tidy with no smell of dogs. Negative: N/A

Had a great time and apartment so close to all Whitby has to offer. Positive: Lovely property, close to all amenities. Negative: Cobwebs and dust on skirting boards. Just needed a bit of TLC. Outside patio needed a good sweep and bags of rubbish left under stairs to gate, needed removing.

The apartment is basic but a good size and in a good location. There is on road parking but it’s on a first come basis. We stayed for 4 nights. The lounge is a good size but maybe a little cramped for 4 adults. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds were comfy. Good shower pressure. On the downside the apartment needs a good clean. I have messaged the host and sent photos.

Positive: Location very good. Negative: Needed things doing. Black mould in shower on sealant. Cobwebs in bay window. Courtyard door and radiator in that bedroom needed cleaning along skirting. Just some areas need further attention to detail.

Lovely apartment and would stay again. Positive: Location was great as it is opposite the park for walking the dog and was in walking distance down to the harbour. Apartment was spacious and fairly quiet, even though it is on a main road. Negative: One of the bedroom door's wouldn't stay closed.

Positive: The apartment was very comfortable quite clean Negative: Nothing really. Just a few cleaning issues. Top of pipes very dusty on boiler, windows coukd do with cleaning and outside patio area could do with a good tidy up

There were towel used by the last residents in the bathroom. And the water flow of the shower room was not good. Except for that, totally it was good. The place is very nice. Rooms are also clean. Interior looks great.

The location of this air b and b was great, the parking was limited but that’s fine as this was described as such and the price was fair as we also had a discounted extra night booked last minute as an additional treat. However I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of it, as soon as I walked in it had a fusty/ wet dog smell in the kitchen/living room and the rest of the apartment didn’t smell particularly fresh. I had my 8 month old daughter with me and she was obviously crawling everywhere, within 5mins of being there her hands and legs were absolutely filthy, so much so that I had to keep wiping her down continuously and showered her multiple times throughout each day of the stay, I even re hoovered but this didn’t make a difference. If it had of been cleaner this would have been 100% an apartment that we would have repeated time and time again but unfortunately this will not be the case.

At first it seems fine, but needs improvements! Positive: It was a great location and the layout of the flat was practical. Customer service was generally fine. Negative: The flat needs a deep clean. There was a lot of dust and dirt left in less obvious places. Some glasses, mugs and plates were dirty and chips. Most if the pots were scratched and dirty. The oven was dirty, the omelette flipper half melted. There was no frying pan. We only got 1 toilet roll and 1 bin liner and 1 coffee capsule for 3 people for one week stay! While the customer service was prompt, they can't be taking feedback on board since we have noticed similar comments (no frying pan, melted flipper, 1 toilet roll etc ) in reviews left months ago. The property is supposed to be dog friendly and yet no water or food bowls were available (I think property description mentions dog bowls). We asked if those could be provided, but got a negative reply. Patio was a disappointment; rusty furniture and mess. The mattresses (especially in smaller bedroom) were very uncomfortable. This property doesn't deserve the high rating it has at the moment. It has a great potential and could easily be much more comfortable and welcoming if some more effort and attention was given and feedback acted on.

Home from home Positive: Great location very clean and modern felt very homely liked it cause it was on the ground floor didnt hear any noise from the apartments above will definitely stay there again 10/10 Negative: Host & stay taking half of full payment just after booking with no notification when it was taken or no receipt sent, and when final payment taken although we had a date for that I had to ring and ask for a receipt this wouldn't stop me staying again as we would be prepared in the future not everyone has that amount sat in a current account with so many scams about.

Positive: The apartment was lovely and very clean, it had everything we needed for our stay. There was music playing on our arrival which was a nice touch. No issues as previously mentioned on reviews everything went very smoothly. The only thing I would say is parking however we got a spot straight away on the road which wasn't too far from the property and we could see the car from the window but you are 5 mins walk from the centre so once you park up, you can walk. Great location to the centre of Whitby. I did contact Host and Stay when booking due to selecting the wrong date, they were very helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to resolve my issue.. a very good experience overall. P.s lots of teabags coffee sugar and milk which was great 😃 thank you for a great stay.. we loved it 😍 Negative: N/A

Poor Positive: The distance to Whitby and the fact it was ground floor Negative: The apartment smell was damp, there were stains on the carpets and sofas, marks on the tables . Kettle and toaster were rusted. There was no window key unable to open windows in heatwave . Also the beds were extremely hard and u comfortable

On arrival we walked into a large carpet stain, filthy skirting boards and marks all over the walls. The television has broken so the bottom half of the screen is a different colour. The fridge hasn’t got any where to keep milk upright as the door compartment is missing so anything that is lying flat that’s open leaks. Outside, the small courtyard is covered in nub ends, an old used plaster and the garden furniture is covered in rust so you can’t sit on it. The skirting boards are so filthy, covered in dust and grime. The bed in the second bedroom is actually unusable. I would say that the comfort of the mattress is 1/10. You can feel every spring and I woke up feeling winded with such bad back ache. Overall a very dirty apartment and not how it is advertised. Very disappointed

Excellent location Positive: Location to town was exceptional. Spacious for 4 people Negative: Rubbish on doorstep as we arrived. Took 10 minutes to get key out of box. Carpets had stains on them. Windows and ledges needed a good clean. No frying pan for cooking. Outside court yard furniture rusty

Positive: Thank you for a lovely stay. The property is well maintained and we were able to rest and enjoy our stay in Whitby. I particularly like the location, as it was quiet and a short distance from the park and Whitby centre itself.

We had a lovely stay, only 10 minutes walk into Whitby.

Great location, well maintained and renovated with new kitchen and bathroom. Good quality linen and towels. We chose it, as all on one level which suited my elderly father. Only negative was there is no designated parking as described, however we managed to park on the road close by. Would be better if they provided better quality pans along with a frying pan. However, we would recommend staying.

Great location, would definitely stay again. When we arrived we noticed it was cold and the boiler wasn’t working, we topped up the boiler and informed the host and they said this was correct and to let us know if it happened again. The host was really quick at responding. Beds were comfy and shower was good too.

The apartment was so clean I cannot fault anything. There is everything you need from plenty of crockery, coffee tea and sugar. We were only there for one night but I would happily use park view apartment for a week long stay. The beds are so comfortable and the lounge furniture was also comfortable

Lovely apartment perfect location

Dissapointed. Positive: The location. Apartment was modern. Negative: The fact there wasn't heating or hot water. Had to leave a day early. No help from staff. Despite emailing them on 3 different occasions. The first time was Friday as we arrived. 2nd time was Saturday, telling them we needed their assistance. None was given. The phone number given wasn't connecting.

It’s advertised as parking available which was very important to me when looking for a property. The only parking available are two spots outside the building on a very busy main road. I expected that parking available meant there was designated parking. We disregarded other properties which had been honest regarding parking so I think this was false advertising regarding the property

Park View apartment was in a great position taking only 10mins into town. It was very comfortable warm and cosy. Great WiFi and fully equipped kitchen. Definitely one to visit again and maybe in the warmer weather

Excellent location, lovely flat but not great if you actually want self-cater for part of your stay. Positive: Location was fab and parking although not guaranteed was easy. Negative: The facilities were minimal. Some key kitchen equipment was missing or broke. Needs some tlc.

Great place to stay to explore Whitby. The park directly opposite is lovely and parking was simple and easy. The apartment is comfortable and cosy and has everything you need.

This apartment is great but there were a few inaccuracies in the listing such as free parking which is not guaranteed. I felt like there were alot of missed opportunities to elevate this from a great apartment to an excellent one. Mainly down to the owners trying to maximise their profit margin.

Lovely place with a lovely park opposite and close to town. Positive: Absolutely loved the place and location was just perfect. Negative: The only issue i could see would be parking,but i was lucky as both times i used the car my space was still available.

Had a nice stay in the flat over looking the park. It was clean and tidy and well equipped. It is on street parking but always found a space. Easy walking into the centre of Whitby or catch the bus. We will stay here again when we come back to Whitby.

Very enjoyable in a beautifully place. Positive: The park land opposite was wonderful to walk through each time we went in and out. The apartment was very clean , comfortable and well equipped. Negative: The apartment was said to have a designated parking space , this was not true. The blurb never mentioned on a first come first served basis…2 spaces for 6 apartments.

Good location and nice interior. Positive: The property was clean, comfortable and a 5 minute walk into town centre. Negative: To say it was the hight of summer and in middle of the heatwave the courtyard was dirty and unpleasant therefore we didn’t use it. The courtyard was also a tight squeeze through the second bedroom. I also had issues with whoever the host was due to messages not being responded to in a timely manner.

Perfect for our 1 night stay Positive: Lovely apartment in a great location. Negative: Check in was at 4PM, I politely enquired if there was any possibility of us checking in at 3pm? This request was declined which is what I expected and fair enough. However, the night before I received a message that the property would be available earlier in the day (obviously no one in the night before) but there would be a £30.00 extra charge!!!!! I was only asking to check in an hour before.....how nice would it have been for them to come back and say " yes, the property in now available to check in at 3pm"

Lovely property in great location. Positive: The accommodation was lovely and in a great location for all the things Whitby has to offer. Felt really comfortable at the property and everything we needed was provided. Free, on-street parking was available across the road. A beautiful park right on your doorstep (dogs not allowed). A five minute walk to the edge of the town centre. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again if we go back to Whitby.

Ideal location Positive: Location is great for Whitby Town Centre. The carpets looked very clean. More coffee sachets and milk pods are available, which is good see. Negative: There was nothing.

A nice relaxed winter break. Positive: We have stayed at this property previously, it is central to everything and is always immaculate. Negative: Parking is always a challenge in the area, but if you are lucky there is street parking opposite.

Which need deep clean. -Some covers in lounge and kitchen seen better days and need replacement. -Couldn’t adjust temperature in shower. -Double in one room is two singles pushed together with hard raised seem down the middle, so not comfortable.
