A fantastic little visit to Whitby Positive: Lovely apartment & great location. Perfect for a family of 4. Everything you needed was supplied in the apartment including an umbrella (luckily we didn’t need it) the host thought of everything would definitely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Negative: A little bit cluttered in the front room with ornaments but it did not affect our stay.

Fantastic - just what was needed for a short trip back to beautiful Whitby to scatter my fathers ashes in one of his favourite places on earth. Thank you for providing such lovely accommodation. A great find. My American wife and daughter loved exploring Whitby just a short walk from the property.

The flat is in a prime location, a short walk to the harbour and shops and opposite a delightful park. It was very comfortable, cosy and easy to feel at home. It was also very clean and everything we needed was there. It's good value and we would recommend.

Lovely little (spotless) top floor flat, overlooking the park and extremely close to Whitby harbour & bus/ train stations. On street parking available nearby for the duration of our stay ( October) and the landlady kindly allowed us to offload quickly. Otherwise it’s a quick park on double yellows away from the bus stop which is directly outside. Lots of little touches to make your stay easy and homely. Thank you

This is a lovely apartment in a great position for Whitby. Every thing is new and clean. Great to have 2 toilets. There are quite a few steps up to the apartment so be aware of that. The third bed is under the eaves of the house so would be difficult to use without hitting your head. Also we were greeted by a very hostile women who owns the B&B next door telling us we couldn’t park on the premises and there were several notices saying clearly that parking is only for the B&B. I feel the listing is misleading I choose this because of the parking. We did find parking nearby so was ok, but would imagine in height of season it may not be so easy.

Fantastic we would stay again most definitely Positive: Excellent apartment, hosts went above and beyond in regards to decor and facilities, you have everything you would need and more. Walk into Whitby even my 89 year old mum did this with a walking stick. Negative: Nothing at all to fault with the property but through no one’s fault parking was challenging

Lovely Whitby apartment opposite the park Positive: Second time staying at this lovely apartment. It was bright, airy and spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Location is good and just a short stroll into the main areas in Whitby. Good communication from Jean. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon.

The boys are already asking when we can go back. Thank you very much. Positive: We spent 4 nights here during the Easter break, and our only regret was having to go home. This is a fantastic place to stay - homely, nicely-furnished, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable beds. Considering how close it is to the centre of Whitby, it's also remarkably quiet. We received a message from Charlie (our host), to say we could check in from 2pm instead of 4, which was great because we'd already arrived and the grandkids were running around the park across the road. The welcoming bottle of Prosecco was a nice touch. We tend to eat out when we're away from home, but the kitchen had all you'd need to prepare just about anything. Negative: It wasn't a long enough break.

31 Bagdale was a beautiful flat to stay in with views of Pannett park from the front room and small bedroom windows. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you for a comfortable and clean stay

Enjoyable stay in well appointed apartment close to all amenaties, Finding a convenient parking place and the number of steps/stairs up to the apartment was the only downside but would use again.

Positive: The apartment was nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and very spacious and airy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the beds were extremely comfortable. We found free parking on a street nearby, so parking wasn't an issue for us. The property is perfectly located just a short stroll away from the main areas in Whitby. Jean was an excellent host and we would definitely love to stay again. Thank you for our arrival gift, it was appreciated !

Had a lovely stay, flat is a great spot just 5 minutes walk down to the town. Would advise people to bring an eye mask as there aren’t any black out curtains! But loved our trip - thank you

Very relaxing stay in comfortable, stylish, spacious property Positive: Beautifully presented and decorated and very well equipped, particularly the kitchen equipment and tableware. Loved the Denby tableware. Both bedrooms were of a good size with plenty of clothes storage space. Lounge with dining area very large and spacious and loved the large landing/quiet area with comfortable chair and footstool. Very clean and fresh, bedding crisp and white and lovely soft towels. Negative: Absolutely nothing to dislike other than possibly outside steps to house, then 2 x stairs to apartment but really not complaining about that

Lovely, spotless accommodation. You can tell the owners really take pride in their property and we felt right at home. Spotlessly clean with everything you need. Bonus was two bedrooms with their own shower/bath. Quite a few stairs so be aware if you struggle with mobility etc. Will definitely return!

Perfectly located spacious apartment Positive: Firstly this spacious apartment was located in an excellent area of Whitby. It was quiet, yet a 6 min walk into the town and bus station and there is a bus stop right outside the apartment. The facilities in the apartment we're excellent, Bob and Jean have though of everything. The decor and crockery and fresh white linen we're a lovely touch. Including a thoughtful bottle of prosecco. It was very clean and comfortable throughout. Negative: Feather duvets and feathers cushions (many people, including myself are allergic) The arrival and leaving times. And hour either side might be a little better. But fully appreciate the reasons.

Wonderful, slightly quirky apartment quite close to Whitby town centre. Positive: The apartment looks fab! Wonderfully decorated with some quirky and interesting items. The lounge in particular is one of the nicest we'd stayed in, with a big comfy sofa and a decent sized TV in particular worth mentioning. Four people can sit in comfort in and all see the TV (which often isn't the case with rental accommodation). The whole apartment is very well equipped and the bedrooms are clean and comfy. Location is good as it is an easy 5 minute walk into the town centre. Negative: The initial main frustration was with parking. 20 minutes are allowed for loading / unloading out the front on the double yellow lines for but you have to park elsewhere for the rest of the time. If you know where to park this isn't such a big issue and I wish the onwers had provided some suggestions for this ahead of time. When we arrived we parked down by the harbour off Langbourne Road in a paid car park (there are actually two - one small and one large). Both are about a 5-6 minute walk. The 2nd and 3rd nights we parked on Downdinner Hill and Arundel Place - both of which where free street parking and a 2 minute walk from the apartment. In terms of the apartment generally we really liked it but a couple of minor quirks are worth pointing out. First, the slant in the ceiling in the main ensuite made it awkward for taller people (ie. 6 ft+) to get in the shower and then have to stoop a bit to get under the shower head. The shower in the second bedroom's ensuite is better for taller people. Second, due to the slant and lack of useable mirror in the main ensuite it is bot possible to shave in there. Again the basin and and mirror in the second bedroom is the only option for that. Also worth mentioning that the kitchen is very well equiped and looks great though is small and is really a one-person kitchen. Finally, one gripe is that whilst the duvets provided were soft and very nice they were completely OTT for summer and we ended up sleeping under the duvet covers. It would have been nice if there were wither some lighter summer duvets or blankets that we could've used.

Property is excellent but never use host and stay Positive: Fantastic Negative: Host and stay way way too much I have over 20 emails for a two night stay, I would never use them again, also extra cost from when you make the booking so not clear on initial costs.

Znakomity i bardzo czysty apartament Positive: Dbałość o szczegóły, apartament był wyposażony we wszytko czego można potrzebować i więcej. Nawet koszyk piknikowy. Gospodarze przywitali nas butelka Prosecco co było bardzo miłe. Pościel i ręczniki były na bardzo wysokim standardzie. Wszędzie było bardo czysto. Lokalizacja znakomita wszędzie blisko. Nasz pobyt był znakomity i dziękujemy. Negative: Nie było jeden rzeczy która by nam. Się nie podobała.

Positive: Wunderschöne Einrichtung, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Die unzähligen Mail der Verwaltung gaben wirklich jede Menge Hinweise, waren aber irgendwann auch lästig. Müsste man vielleicht mal alles in einer mail zusammenfassen. Negative: Die Straße vor dem Haus diente des öfteren als Rennstrecke für Motorräder. Auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern leider keine Ruhe. Eines der Schlafzimmer lag glücklicherweise nach hinten zum Hof. Das andere leider nicht. Bei unserer Ankunft wollten wir unser Auto kurz auf dem Nachbargrundstück zum Entladen abstellen. Die Bewohnerin des Nachbarhauses kam wutentbrannt auf uns zu und drohte gleich mit Polizei, wenn wir ihr Grundstück nicht verlassen. Überall stehen Schilder, die keinen offiziellen Charakter hatten, die mit Geldbuße und Abschleppen drohten. Alternative zum Entladen leider nur verkehrswidrig auf dem doppelten gelben Streifen und Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus. Unser PKW stand dann eine viertel Stunde entfernt sicher am Altenheim. Unschöne Situation im URLAUB.

Perfect base for our wonderful Whitby getaway! Positive: The apartment is in a great location making visiting Whitby and the surrounding area really easy. The apartment itself feels loved and cared for. It is exceptionally clean, bright, cosy and well equipped and the everything from the bedlinen to the crockery and cutlery are of a high quality. Communication from the host was excellent and we were offered an earlier check in time. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending the apartment or staying here again! Negative: There is no dedicated parking for the apartment. Street parking is available nearby but it did mean a bit of driving around to find a free spot. Definitely not a big issue though!
