Positive: The communication with the property manager was very good, prompt, and professional. The location of the property was ideal for us. It was a walking distance from the venue of the event we travelled for. Negative: The cleanliness of the property was not very good. We observed hairs on the bedding in some of the rooms. The kitchen appliances require improvement. The microwave poses a fire risk (I reported this, but it was not addressed during our stay). There was even leftover food inside the oven and freezer, indicating that no attempt was made to clean this before our arrival.

Great place to stay if you're looking for basic affordable accommodation close to Swansea city centre. It's not the most luxurious or anything but for a basic place to stay for a few nights it's got everything you need.

Not a good experience - extra peace of mind payment of £49 does not worth it. Positive: The location was excellent and very accessible to the city centre and nearby facilities Negative: There was no mention that the master bedroom was out of use. Our 3 children enjoyed their rooms, although the duvets were old, stained and snuffy, but the worst was the masters bedroom which was not dressed at all - no duvet or bed sheet or pillow cases. We chatted with the host but did not get any positive response. On looking closely, I noticed that the bed was merely a scrap metal bed which was broken at the mid-point that was tied with a rope. The headboard was equally detached due to enormous rust and was supported with a side chair which means that the owner or property managers knew that it was bad and out of use yet it was not mentioned. I ended us sleeping on the floor with my wife which was a terrible experience. The fridge/freezer appeared to not have been defrosted for a long time with melting ice all over the floor every time. Unfortunately, the property manager sent me a form a day to my arrival called peace of mind and asked for me to pay additional £49 on top of the booking fee which I paid. Sadly, I didn't enjoy any peace of mind for sleeping on the floor with the blanket we brought from home. Efforts by Booking.com come to contact them to respond to my request for a refund of that extra payment has not yielded any results.

Wir waren über den Zustand der Unterkunft sehr enttäuscht. In der Wohnung ist diverses Inventar kaputt und schmutzig. Z.B. ein Bett mit altem Farbkübel als Stütze, Sofa, welches von Insekten bewohnt ist,  Schimmel an der Decke, Abfallgelade im Garten. Schubladen in der Küche sind fettig, Inhalt schmutzig. Pfannen können nicht benutzt werden, sind völlig zerkrazt. Abfall von Vohrgänger wurde nich geleert. Die Wohnung wirkte nicht geputzt und nicht instand gehalten. Wir fühlten uns ausgenutzt und hintergangen.Weiter hatte ich mehrmals Kontakt mit der Vermietung aufgenommen, welche mein Anliegen ignorierte oder leere Versprechungen machten. Auf keinen Fall diese Wohnung buchen, man erspart sich viel Ärger. Wir konnten in der Wohnung die Küchengeräte nicht nutzen, waren kaputt( zerkratze Pfannen) oder mit altem Essen verklebt. Waren uns auch nicht sicher, ob die Betten wirklich frisch bezogen wurden.

Little bit disappointing Positive: Location was good for us. Room for 6 people. Negative: One of the single beds was broken so very uncomfortable. Only one key so had to stay up till last person was in as couldn’t lock the front door from inside and put a key in the lock box. Only one toilet (we knew this in advance but not ideal for 6 people.

I travel for work 2–4 times a month and have for ten years, this was the worst accommodation experience I've had in that time.We booked for a family stay with our one-year-old. The property had not been cleaned before arrival and was not fit to receive guests. The floors blackened bare feet. We found a previous guest's toenail clippings, used contact lenses, and old perishable food. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards and the bathroom was filthy with clogged drains. No cleaning equipment of any kind was provided ( no vacuum, mop bucket or supplies) so we couldn't address it ourselves.The yard was locked with no key (we were told the previous guest took it), so the bins were inaccessible the entire stay. It was overflowing with refuse and we photographed rats in it. We had no way to dispose of our own waste, including nappies, and had to remove it ourselves.We reported everything from day one. We received a week of apologies and "escalated as a priority," but no cleaner ever attended. A written promise to send one by a set time was missed. The replies were so templated we were addressed by the wrong name.The photos may look appealing; the reality did not match. I cannot recommend against a property more strongly, especially for families.

Good location but property needs some attention. Positive: The location. The size of the accommodation. Plenty of communication with owners before arrival date. Negative: No access to back garden even though it was displayed on the site. No hot water, and no follow-up from owners when they were made aware of this. The dishwasher did not work. The place was not very clean.

Perfect family break Positive: We recently stayed at a property on Oxford Street in Swansea while attending Tunes on the Bay, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed for our family break. Finding affordable accommodation for a larger family isn’t always easy, but this home made it possible for us to enjoy some much-needed time away together without breaking the bank. The location was ideal — just a short walk to the town centre, shops, and of course the beach, which made everything so convenient. Was the property absolutely perfect? No — a couple of small things like the kettle and toaster could do with replacing, and some of the cooking trays had seen better days. But honestly, for the price we paid, it delivered exactly what we needed and more. The house was clean enough, with fresh bedding and really comfortable beds. Having access to free Wi-Fi, a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and all the usual family essentials made a big difference during our stay. What really stood out was the customer support — absolutely fantastic. We were given all the information we needed, and everything was handled smoothly, which made the whole experience stress-free. That’s why we’re giving it 5 stars. It provided affordable, practical accommodation for our whole family, and allowed us to enjoy a break we truly needed. Many thanks to you and your team.

Maravilhosa voltarei em breve. Positive: Excelente! Bem limpo lugar agradável. Negative: Só o quintal que estava um pouco sujo mais para mim não tive problemas pois nao usei a parte externa Tivemos um problema com aquecedores mas logo foi resolvido com rapidez e eficiência.

Great central location. Host was really helpful and instructions were clear making it easy to get into the property. House was nice and tidy

Great location. Perfect size for the amount of people advertised for. Working facilities (minus a couple of lighting issues that unfortunately were not able to be resolved during our stay). Essential crockery and mugs/glasses provided. What let this place down was the cleanliness. Despite that, overall this was a fine enough stay. Would return if some time and money was spent on a good deep clean.

Positive: Very cosy feel, beds were a tiny bit squeaky and only one room had windows that opened but was cool enough that it didn't bother us. All in all a great stay, location was perfect for us. Would defo stay again! Negative: Only complaint and that's being picky, beds were a tad squeaky and windows didn't open but aside from that, nothing!

Loopafstand naar het centrum. Er was helaas niet schoongemaakt en overal lagen vieze handoeken en afgehaalde bedden. Foutje in de planning, kan gebeuren. Host & Stay heeft dit binnen 3 uur opgelost, Top! Woning is wel ok, maar het was het allemaal net niet. Beetje oud en niet onderhouden. Veel dingen waren niet schoon; ovenroosters met resten voeding, bestek en glazen niet schoon, geen vaatwastabletten en 2 druppels afwasmiddel. Je kon niet op de bank zitten (helemaal doorgezakt). Roestig en deels kapotte stoelen in de tuin. Blij dat we er maar 2 nachten zaten. Bedden waren wel goed en sanitair was schoon (wel schimmel in de kitranden). Dus slapen en douchen gaat prima. Mijn verzoek tot iets latere uitcheck ter compensatie, werd uren later pas beantwoord met een "ik zal kijken of dit kan". Daarna niets meer vernomen. Dus direct contact met de host is niet goed/snel. Van alle accommodaties deze reis (3 in totaal) was dit de duurste en helaas ook de minste.

The house is just a stones throw from a few bars and clubs which surprisingly you can't hear at night, the road the house is on gets quite busy and can be hard to get a parking space if you leave it tool late. The owners leave a print out car permits valid for two cars which is really useful. Its in a great location, near a big supermarket so you can stock up on food and everything very easily. Its close to the beach which is also ideal. The house is odd, I've never had to put up my own curtains at an air bnb before. There were a few hazards in the house like the banister that was broken, so if you leant on it, you'd knock it over and possibly hurt yourself, as well as that, the microwave made sparks and smoke when being used. There was litter in our room when we arrived. Dirty glasses were left out from the previous guests. Overall it feels like a student house converted to an Air BNB, its functional, but like a student house has lots of broken things, and it wasn't tidy.

203 Oxford street was central to the town centre and local pub across the road was welcoming. Might be a bit rough around edges but landlord and wife brilliant hosts. The house its self was warm and welcoming, the beds comfortable. Unfortunately what let it down was how unkept it was, it didn’t look like it had been clean and just been reopened after closing for the season, there was foot prints on the bathroom wall along with mould. There was mould in most of the bedrooms, a broken banister, mould in the kitchen. Food left from whoever last stayed. It was disappointing actually what we came across. But overall it is a lovely house and I would stay again if the issues were fixed. Housekeeping needs to be spot checked I think. Charlie the host was really helpful and took everything I message him on. Parking is not free by the way, u will need a permit.
