Beautiful apartment in center of Harrogate . Has been renovated to a high spec. Definitely will stay here again if available.

Perfect, would definitely book again Positive: Super well appointed, all very modern, clean and with high end finishes.

Positive: Location excellent. The apartment is a a high spec. Showers great. Bed comfortable. Lots of stairs to climb (fine for us) but not ideal for elderly or wheelchairs / prams. Negative: Outside needed work finishing off. Tiles were up and no downsize toilet would have been nice.

Positive: Location was perfect, ideal for shopping, bars and restaurants. After lunch and shopping we had our sunny terrace to go back to and enjoy the sunshine and prosecco 😀 Parking at the adjacent multistory very convenient and easy and I can reclaim the parking fee! I'll be recommending Oxford House to all my friends

Great location for our family driving holiday. Easy walking to Turkish baths, gardens and shops and apartment was lovely with well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and great shower pressure!

Negative: There are beautiful windows to the front t of the apartment overlooking the street however there are no blinds or curtains etc so day or night visibility into the main apartment area is clear.

This flat is great. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It's very handy for the train station and for the conference centre!! Recommended...

Had a great time in Harrogate Positive: Central to everything, great location Negative: Strong drain odour when we first went into the property. The heating was on at 25 deg and without any drapes in the lounge, the midday sun added to the heat. The laundry door had been left open, which contributed to the smell.

We had a wonderful two night stay over the August Bank Holiday weekend at this very centrally located modern apartment. Definitely luxurious, spacious, clean and exactly as described and pictured. The standout feature is the large kitchen and lounge and was well equipped with everything you could possibly want for a short stay including a large fridge freezer with ice making facility and a Nespresso coffee machine. One of the en-suite bathrooms had a huge walk in shower and it was lovely to be able to sit out on the private rooftop terrace. The apartment is a stone’s throw away from shops, bars and any number of restaurants including Betty’s and is directly opposite a multi storey pay car park but only 10 minutes walk from free on street parking. The host was always responsive and prompt with a reply and entry instructions were perfect. All in all this is an amazing place, we loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

Percect stay. Exactly what we were looking for! Positive: As the photos show, the apartment is modern, clean and wonderfully spacious. We especially loved the upstairs terrace, which provided the perfect spot to relax during our Harrogate getaway, or in our case, to host my bridal party while getting ready for the wedding. Negative: It’s right in the heart of town, which is fantastic for restaurants, bars and exploring Harrogate. As you’d expect with such a central location, it can be a little noisy on a Saturday evening. The apartment is also on the second floor with no lift, so it may not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. For us, though, it was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for.

Place was spacious and clean. The balcony area was great for morning coffee and evening chill. Kitchen was fully equipped. Massive fridge freezer with cold water and Ice options. Paid parking next to it. The bedroom facing main street could get a bit noisy at night due to high foot traffic. Loads of restaurants and shops near in walking distance. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

Excellent location Positive: It was a lovely apartment, high spec kitchen and lovely and light...the added terrace was great as we had fabulous weather. The location is extremely central which is really handy but can be a little noisy on Friday night. There is a secure car park right opposite which was extremely handy. Negative: The only thing I would say is the apartment needs a little TLC is places, some areas need a touch up with paint...but it was a lovely apartment

Great location, service could be better! Positive: The location was excellent and parking is literally opposite so that's very easy! The accommodation itself is beautiful - this was the second year we came back. The balcony area was especially gorgeous! Negative: We couldn't get the air con to work despite numerous attempts. Some of the light switches didn't seem to work which was odd (are they controlled externally?) It was disappointing that the hand wash and washing up liquid was watered down! Especially given the price we paid. We also had to buy our own toilet roll as the stocks had not been replenished from whomever was in there before us.

Quirky place in a very central location. Positive: We loved the location, ice machine on the fridge, rain showers in the bathrooms and the terrace. Downstairs living room windows are amazing. The shops, green spaces all on the door step. Negative: As it is an old building the ventilation downstairs was not enough especially we had a heat wave the days we were there.

Central Stay in Harrogate Positive: The apartment is absolutely lovely and has most things you would need for your stay. Beautiful roof terrace which we made use of with the nice weather, however there were a few things which weren't so good, which I've mentioned below. The location is also perfect for getting around Harrogate, being literally a few minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants. Negative: Given we stayed during the middle of a heatwave (34 degrees when we arrived), there was no air conditioning or simple electric fans available. With it being so hot, we couldn't make much use of the living room as it was too hot to sit in. Given how luxurious the apartment is, it was a shame to see watered down washing up liquid and hand-wash. Both squirted out water when using them. The property was advertised as having a parking garage which to us meant this was a private parking space. However, we were given instructions for the nearby multistory car park which for us, at the time of our stay was £36 for 48hrs.

A lovely time was had by all and we hope to return soon. Positive: Amazing location in the centre of town and super facilities. The rooftop terrace was a great bonus on a sunny weekend 😎

They replied to confirm there was an electric grill bbq on the outdoor terrace but on arrival there wasn’t one . A lovely apartment Positive: Firstly, not an apartment for those with mobility difficulties. There are stairs leading from the ground floor equaling around 2 flights. Hand rail on right so coming down was difficult for father in law as not only mobility needs, but left broken shoulder. I was aware of these, but not of the stairs in the apartment up to bedrooms and en-suites. So when you need the toilet you have to go upstairs. Maybe this should be highlighted on the description. A lovely apartment though and I would highly recommend if no mobility requirements. Wonderful long hallway that is quite a stopper when you first open the apartment door. Stunning window in lounge area that runs from floor to ceiling across the wall. Single glazed with Safety glass barrier in front of window. Although it was only 18 degrees, it was sunny and the lounge/ dining room became hot. There was one window around 50cm x 50cm which was slightly open. I would not like to be there in the height of summer. It would definitely benefit from an air conditioning unit in that area as there is no other proper ventilation on that floor. Large Sofa so lots of seating. It was very low. Lovely dining table and table and stools too. Nespresso machine and 4 pods and tea bags. In fact nice kitchen and everything you need really and good quality. Excellent American fridge freezer with cold water and ice maker. High spec with Alexa and lots of smart features. A twin room overlooking terrace to back of property. Double with en-suite shower to front. Would definitely be noisy during busy periods and if windows needed to be open. Excellent mattresses, nice bedding and towels. Whole apartment clean and I am quite particular. There is a lot of Glass and chrome and almost all light fittings being glass. They could definitely do with a good wash and brighten. The one in dining room did not give a good impression when eating as it was above the table. Negative: Things mentioned above were minor, but I would not have chosen the apartment if I had known about the stairs in the actual unit for mobility needs, but I would definitely recommend for others

The apartment was beautiful, modern, well equipped, and brilliantly central. As several other people mention, it was noisy at night, from 2-4am. That’s the curse, as well as the blessing, of it being so central; it’s next to a number of bars and clubs, and you get the flow of people leaving there. There’s very little the hosts can do about that, but it is something to bear in mind if you want absolute quiet. The actual place is great, though, and I’d happily stay there again.

The apartment was fantastic for our weekend. It was spacious and comfortable. We loved that each room had an ensuite. Although we didn't manage to use the terrace due to the weather, it would be a beautiful area to use in summer. It is in the perfect location to walk to the station and surrounding restaurants and bars - however this does mean there can be some noise from outside. Would recommend for anyone wanting a modern apartment within walking distance of local attractions!

Great apartment, very close to car park and central location. Roof terrace is lovely to sit out on. I'd recommend taking ear plugs if your sleeping in the main bedroom (front location to apartment) slight noise from the street might be disruptive without. we had a great stay and would stay again.

Stunning stylish apartment in the very centre of Harrogate with shops, bars and restaurants a minute or two away. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a convenient location The only minor criticism was the stained sofa cushion- which could have been easily remedied by unzipping it and washing it prior to our arrival. It would also have been thoughtful to perhaps provide a small carton of milk too when tea, coffee etc were readily available. Would thoroughly recommend and we did enjoy our stay here and would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful accommodation. Would stay again. Positive: Brilliant, spacious property, with great facilities. Fantastic location. Best thing about it was the roof terrace. Spent a lot of time up there sat in the sunshine! Fabulous! Negative: The heat! It was a very hot weekend, not enough ventilation. Could have done with some stand up fans in bedrooms. Couldn’t leave windows open because of the noise outside of rowdy revellers passing on the street below.

Wonderful place right in the center of Harrogate and a lovely outdoor terrace. The only issue we had was we couldn't turn off the radiator in bedroom 2 which made the place very hot and needing to leave the windows open overnight which means you hear the street noise of the drunks outside.

Looks exactly like the photos. The place was generally clean and tidy, but I did spot some kitchen utensils and a plate which weren't washed when we came in. The living room was spacious and comfy. Not having curtains though meant those in the other building could see you (and could also get very warm during the day). The entire place was well-equipped with everything you might need from tea and coffee to a wine cooler/bucket. As other guests have pointed out, balcony was lovely but the decking needs some fixing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. My favourite would have to be the shower!

only a few things that needed attention, no curtain or blinds on main living room window so not privacy at all. the decking on the outside garden just as you come through the door collapsed, needs attention. a great place otherwise! so comfortable with large rooms, location and parking great

Oxford House is a very well appointed, exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished accommodation with all mod cons in a perfect location right in the middle of Harrogate. The information pack was very comprehensive and included information regarding parking, restuarants, shopping and places of interest and I would have no hesitation in recommending Oxford House as a great place to stay. The apartment itself is beautiful, could not ask for more. The only downsides were the decking area didn’t seem very sturdy and the worst problem was noise from the road. There is single pane glass at the front and you can hear everybody that passes. We went over a weekend and could hear drunken people all through the night like they were in the same room.

What a weekend away. Spend two night and didn’t want to leave, immaculate throughout and pictured do not do it justice. Will 100% be booking again. Thank you Dale 👍🏼

THe Oxford Street flat was amazing great location right in the centre of Harrogate. spotlessly clean and everything thing you would need is there. As far as constuctive critisism goes the only thing i found anyoing was the square plates and cups, we arrived late and needed to eat i went to Tesco express bought a cupple of Pizza's cooked in the oven in time at all. got a plate out of the cupboard it was square, ok not the worst thing ever, next morning made coffee in the matching squrare cups, that didnt work. Cant end a negative the place is great and there was a circular cup at the back of the cupboard. Would Highly Recomend.

Good and not so good Positive: Great location in the centre of town near lots of restaurants and bars. Lovely comfortable beds. Lovely powerful showers and modern bathrooms. Lots of space. Parking in Jubilee carpark to rear of property was close to property. Refund for car parking reimbursed 5 days later by owner. Negative: No downstairs toilet and Several flights of stairs which was annoying for us older guests but probably won't be an issue for younger fitter people. Front bedroom very noisy. Took a while to figure out the remote control for the fire but once we did the fire was lovely and it gave out a lot of heat. No curtains or blinds in the living room, so people from outside in the street and opposite building could see directly in. No privacy.

Comms leading up to, during and post stay were clear and friendly. The location was perfect, right in the centre of Harrogate and the apartment was beautiful. The front room and fire is so cosy and it would also be great in summer with the roof top BBQ. Had a lovely stay and highly recommend

A fabulous apartment, unbelievably accessible to everything we did! And we did a lot. Roof terrace was a great place to chill out. People watching from the massive lounge window was fun to. There was a little noise from the street in the main bedroom but it didn’t bother us. Will definitely be back.

Great place - loved the roof top terrace and people watching from the incredible bay window - There was noise from the hustle and bustle of nearby bars at the end of the night but we didn't mind that at all. Parking right opposite and the location was absolutely brilliant - walkable to all the beautiful parks and shopping areas of Harrogate - we would definitely stay there again!

Night club noise All was superb except the unfortunate rave music both nights from the Cuban night club in the street. It was unreal until around 3 am!!!! If you want to tune it out don’t stay in the front bedroom. Very upsetting!

Frustrating!! Positive: The place itself is really nice and the location is great. Negative: The company are possibly the worst I’ve ever stayed with. Firstly they charged a damage fee which is not stated the price of anywhere on booking.com. It’s now been 5 weeks since our stay and I am still yet to receive our parking cost reimbursement with the team putting it off every time I email… will we ever get the money back? I doubt it! Free parking is not true. The outdoor roof top flooring needs some work too as some parts are broken. All of this is a shame because the place itself is great.

Good location but some inaccuracies in online listing Oxford House is centrally located in Harrogate, and it was a delight to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. Though the accommodations were adequate, the apartment fell short of what was promised in the listing. Though the listing includes "free onsite parking," guests actually pay upfront for parking in a public garage, and must email receipts to the host and wait for a reimbursement. Worse yet, the public garage is closed overnight, meaning that guests must park their cars by 11:00 pm, and not have access to them until 7:00 am. The host also lists air conditioning and a work space as amenities, but to our knowledge, the apartment had neither. Also, a number of things in the apartment, such as the Nespresso machine and some electrical outlets, did not work. All of this said, the apartment has several nice features, including a roof patio and upscale kitchen appliances.

As described, and pleasant. Positive: Good size lots of little touches made it feel nice. Clean. Lots of room. Negative: Nothing really, only issue is nespresso machine needed descaling so didn’t work. But they had other coffee and hadn’t impacted my stay at all really.

Great stay good company in a great environment. Positive: The space was great. Kitchen had all we needed in facilities. Two good bedrooms and bathrooms. Living space had a large comfortable sofa to chill on. Negative: Initially we struggled to understand light and fire switches. But once we were shown we understood. WiFi access was a problem. But we were advised it had just needed rebooted.

Post-stay review Positive: The space and amenities are owesome. Love the shower! Negative: The first bathroom ceiling have mold that need to be abated. Molds cause upper respiratory illness..
