Unfortunately my husband was ill, we spent a day in A&E and then went home early. Positive: Nice clean accommodation in the centre of town Negative: the property needed more seating. 1 settee and 2 wooden stools is not adequate, even for 2. We had a friend drop in. We either sat in a row on the settee or two sat on the settee and one on a hard wood stool. There was room for another arm chair in the living room and chairs in the bedroom to put clothes on at nght.

Just right for short break for two The apartment is tucked away beheind a row of shops but we found it very quiet. It is convenient to walk to all the shops and restaurants in town which are very close by. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. I've found self-catering accomodation for two people hard to come by outside cities so this was a find.

We had a lovely stay in Seahouses, it’s a lovely place to be by the sea and there’s lots of pubs and lovely walks to go on. We also ventured out to Bamburgh and Holy Island, which was made possible by having the car and a dedicated parking space. The property itself is hidden behind the Main Street which was a little bit difficult to work out. As previous reviews have said, it is between a bakers/Indian restaurant and a car park. I was a bit worried about this at first, but it turned out not to be a problem at all! We couldn’t really hear anything from outside once in the property. The property was clean and tidy on arrival and was the perfect size for a little getaway for 2! It was so much nicer coming back to our own space rather than a hotel room. We would definitely come back again!

Perfect location to explore the coast. Seahouses is a lovely town and has lots of lovely shops and pubs. The flat was spotless and perfect for two.

Lovely, clean flat with a spacious bathroom and plenty of living space for us and baby. Great location in that it is very easy to get out and about into Seahouses.

We stayed for 2 nights - 2 adults and 1 baby Pros: - close to lots of amenities in Seahouses - very handy - modern, warm apartment - electric radiators are very toasty - mostly spotlessly clean Cons: - not a fan of having £10 of my security deposit deducted as an ‘admin fee’. Fair enough if a guest has actually caused some damage that you’d then add an admin charge, but to have this when returning the deposit in full is unusual and not something I’ve ever come across before. Just increase your price per stay instead - apartment is located behind a busy Indian restaurant and the bedroom window backs onto the service yard/their rear entrance. You get the expected noise around 11ish when staff are clearing up and leaving etc. One night they also started a fire (?!) in an oil drum - the smell came into our apartment at 11.30 and we woke in a panic thinking the apartment itself was on fire. Clear this isn’t the fault of the hosts, but it’s important people are aware of its location

Great little bolthole! Clean, tidy & compact - perfect for my needs. Centrally located in Seahouses so really handy too. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was comfy - very happy with my choice. Would definitely book again

First the pros: The location was great. In the evening, the neighbourhood was surprisingly quiet. The flat had just about everything I needed (could do with an oven mitt and spatula). And there is a dedicated parking space for one vehicle. Now the cons: For the price, I would expect a more comfortable bed. I don’t struggle with back issues, but this one left mine aching. The flat wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. Some of the bowls had food stuck to them, and the shower hose is covered in black gunk that falls off when it’s being used (something regular cleaning would solve). The person living upstairs can be heard walking around their flat day and night. The front and the back of the flat overlook car parks, so there isn’t much privacy. And (for me, personally) I was contacted too often before, during and after my stay.

Centre of the town, everything on the doorstep literally! Easy parking and access. We're regular visitors to this town and the area, generally twice a year. For this trip, due to a temporary disability, being on the ground floor was ideal, the size and facilities were perfect. Good value for the price

Beautiful little apartment centrally located for lovely shops and restaurants. The Indian brasserie is well worth a visit as the food was delicious but for lunch and dinner our favourite was the swan inn. Our only moan would be that it would probably be a good idea to have a safety mat in the shower as the base was quite sloppy and a shower shelf for shampoo etc would have been handy. All in all a fab stay in a beautiful little fishing village and highly recommended

Excellent and clean accommodation. Ideal location for exploring Northumbrian coastline. Very comfy sofa and bed. Had everything we needed for our stay at a reasonable price. Although there was no sea view, this didn’t bother us as it was such a short walk to the coastline anyway. We would definitely come back.

Excellent location, good value for money - we are definitely coming back!! Positive: Excellent central location, lovely comfortable couch, good WiFi connection. All the facilities you could possibly need in the kitchen. Negative: We were staying for 4 nights and although we did bring our own toiletries etc., it might’ve been a good idea to top up things like shower gel and, particularly toilet roll for guest staying for longer periods of time.

Great location near the sea. Great for coastal walks and ice cream l. Accomodation itself was nice and comfortable smart Tele with all the apps required for when you're tired. local restaurants include Italian , Indian and fish and chips all of which were delicious (specially the Indian opposite) the only thing of note is the car parking is tight and can be slightly difficult to navigate if full

Very convenient and suited our needs this time. Super clean. Positive: It’s was very clean and surprisingly comfortable for our two night stay Negative: I didn’t realise the property was in the car park behind property on the high street (I thought it was above one of the retail shops). Not a big issue for this trip. No outdoor space which might be preferred in high season.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, as well as plenty of restaurants and shops. The host was excellent, responding quickly to any queries and providing clear, helpful information throughout our stay. Communication was smooth and hassle free. Parking right outside was a real bonus, and the area was lovely and quiet at night, making it easy to relax. We would definitely book again and highly recommend to others.

I stayed at Ocean Pearl in Seahouses for 7 nights. The property is lovely, tastefully and simply decorated! Comfortable bed, great bathroom with a large shower. The bedroom window has a blind but because the outside area is brightly lit, it never gets properly dark in there. Electric heating all over, easy to control and use. Useful kitchen with adequate accessories and quality appliances. The only (personal) negative is the bar stools at the breakfast bar, they are very hard and uncomfortable so having a relaxing meal is sadly not an option. Comfy sofa and smart TV.This property is centrally located so all shops, restaurants, etc are within a few steps walking distance.The property comes with 1 parking space but has no other outside space at all so it seems better suited to a winter getaway rather than during better weather.I would definitely stay there again for a winter getaway.

Had a wonderful stay would definitely stay again! lovely clean and warm, perfect location. Easy to get into and parking directly outside the front door so lovely and easy to unpack and pack again. Even the brief power cut to the area was mitigated with the motion light in the living room so we where perfectly safe from trips in the dark. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We loved our stay in this flat! It was spotlessly clean and in a central location so we could walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs in Seahouses. There's a Co-op just across the road so you can top up on essentials easily, plus there's a lovely little deli next door. It's also only a short drive to Bambourgh Castle and Holy Island. We will be back.

Warm, comfortable property, well equipped. A second hand towel would have been appreciated.Property situated behind a row of shops - not a great outlook, but very close to all amenities. Shower walk to beach - good place for a few days.

The apartment is comfortable and perfect for a weekend away. It's in the middle of town so close to everything you need.

About as great an airbnb as I've found. A better mattress would put it over the top, but that's the only negative in a long list of positives (huge bathroom/shower, great location, easy to access, nice kitchen, comfortable couch, laundry, quiet). Hope I can come back someday.

Clean & quiet

Very comfortable cosy studio apartment perfect for our short stay. Very clean and in an ideal spot. Only comment would be that the description states there is no hairdryer so I brought my own with me only to find one in the bedroom, so maybe this should now be added to the facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a really good stay at ocean pearl apartment! Brilliant location, walking distance to multiple nice pubs and restaurants and close to plenty of Northumberland’s main attractions. The apartment was as pictured however there were a couple of drawbacks. The apartment wasn’t the cleanest and the ceilings are pretty thin so you can hear noise from the upstairs apartment. The amenities were brilliant though, the apartment has everything you could need for a few days stay! The hosts were brilliant as well, good communication and clear instructions on check in etc and gave local recommendations.

This apartment was in a very good location, was very clean & tidy. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again. Just a couple of things i would say, there are no curtains on the windows so the light does shine through the blinds pretty early in the morning, there was only 4 coat hangers. They could do with putting some hooks up somewhere to hang your coat etc. Also they only left 1 dish washer tablet and 1 toilet roll. These are just small things that can soon be sorted out.

Lovely modern and clean aparment ideally situated to tour Northumberland - more tea and coffee would have been good.

We have stayed several times at Seahouses in other accommodation which we couldn’t access this time and found this new one which was excellent for everything we needed ideal situation in the middle of the town. We will definitely be rebooking hopefully next year

Fantastic stay and perfect location

Brilliant location, close to all amenities in Sea Houses and a great base for a stay in the wider Northumberland area for getting around. The apartment was well stocked and very clean and comfortable as described. It was a quiet location and very relaxing. The only issue we experienced was that there was no curtains in the bedroom, and the blind let light in from a very bright outdoor light in the parking area which made it difficult to sleep at times. Would suggest getting curtains in the bedroom to solve this issue.

Bewertung Ocean Pearl Danke für die gute und nette Kommunikation. Unser Aufenthalt in Seahouses war sehr schön. Auch die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Trotz Beschreibung war das finden der Unterkunft nicht ganz einfach. Ein Schwamm für den Abwasch war leider nicht vorhanden und auch einen Pfannenwender haben wir vermisst. Die Beschichtung der Bratpfanne lässt sich leider auch auf. Die Einrichtung hat uns ansonsten sehr gut gefallen.

Positive: The flat was ok, very central to the town, all the self catering facilities were great. Negative: Unfortunately the bed was poor, a good night sleep was very difficult to achieve. The bathroom could do with a little more attention to detail.

We enjoyed our stay. Positive: Location and having parking on site. Shower room and bedroom were well appointed and spacious. Kitchen had most of the utensils etc that we needed and had plenty of crockery for us. Negative: The stools at the breakfast bar were uncomfortable to use. To start with we couldn't find the entrance to the property as we were not aware it was behind shops.

War in Ordnung. Positive: Sehr zentrale Lage zwischen allen shops, aber im Hinterhof hinter einem Restaurant gelegen, also kein Verkehrslärm. Kurze Wege überallhin (Hafen, Strand). Parken direkt vor der Haustür, das gibts in Seahouses sonst kaum. Nette Nachbarn. Sehr klein aber ok. Alles da, Fön, Staubsauger usw. Negative: Die EG-Wohnung ist ein bisschen blöd: vorn gaffen die Restaurant-Mitarbeiter durchs Fenster, auf der andren Seite des Zimmers ist der öff. Parkplatz, d.h. die Parker gehen direkt am Fenster vorbei. Ein Sichtschutz für tagsüber (Store) wär gut. Lästig fand ich, dass der Anbieter mehrfach versuchte, mir telefonisch Zusätzliches zu verkaufen (1 Tag mehr; früheres Einchecken).

We didn't hear much noise from the restaurant and it was great to be provided with a car parking space.Perfect location for a short stay, walking distance to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Lovely apartment in the middle of Seahouses. It took us a little bit to find the access but only because a lorry delivering to a nearby shop had parked across the entrance. Facilities were great and we were provided with everything that we needed.

lovely stay in seahouses great location, just off main high street. Only complaint was that shower was broken and feel this should have been picked up during changeover. Had to wait for it to be fixed, no communication from maintenance team that the job had been completed.

Very nice property with everything you need. Positive: We loved the property, only downside was the telly wasn’t working via the aerial and Netflix, Prime etc due to poor internet. Had to connect the telly to my phones mobile hotspot for it to work.

Lovely apartment , filled with all you need for your stay. Unfortunately neighbours above weren’t very quiet but that is no fault of the apartment . Clean tidy and tastefully decorated .

A bit disappointed but the apartment was warm and gave us more room and independence than a hotel room. Positive: Kitchen well equipped. Contacting host quick and efficient. Negative: Although location was central the view from living are was of public car park. Over flowing drain outside property near parking space. Poor sliding door in bedroom.

Lovely place to stay as a base. Everything you need is there and it’s clean and tidy and very comfortable with your own parking space right in front of the door. Great communication all the way through from booking to arrival to leaving. Thoroughly recommend if coming to this area.

The addres should include a few extra indications. The flat is inside the courtyard at no.1. We were confused on arrival (night time) with a sign on a door facing the main street. A key box with 4 digits was there but we received a code for the key with 3 digits. We had to call and ask the local restaurant before eventually finding the flat and it's corresponding key box with 3 digits.

We had a lovely week in Seahouses based at this accommodation. We had an issue initially finding the accommodation but the hosts were very helpful and once we had found it, got in easily. Accommodation was clean and tidy. We personally found some of the other reviews a little harsh towards the location. It is looking out over a car park (a large one but we didn’t feel like the world and his wife was over looking us) and yes on the other side of the parking area is an Indian takeaway and a bakery (both do lovely food) but it didn’t cause us any issues. Don’t go expecting a view, but you are in the heart of everything and the view is only a minute away. Because the accommodation was so good we did find we noticed some small things like a lack of oven glove and some cooking utensils were missing but this is only being picky. If you are staying in and around Seahouses the Bamburgh Castle Inn looks over the harbour and is the best for breakfast, lunch, dinner & a tipple. Enjoy!

Overall the place is nice and clean. Some of the walls are scratched and could do with a lock of paint. Check in instructions could have been clearer in terms of being on the main street and where it turn in the very tight turning to get behind the buildings. I did not enjoy the assumption that every guest will break something and has to be held accountable, I didn't see this initially before booking and had I known I would not have booked. You have to pay £25 extra for a waiver for cover up to £500 of damages - non refundable Or £250 credit card deposit which is refundable but you are charged an admin fee of £10 and you cannot get a refund if you cancel your booking. A lesson learnt from myself however it was hard to find on the information. Nice place but wouldn't stay again

Accessibility to beaches and castles. Positive: We’ll equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge area. Large bathroom, walk-in shower. Negative: Overlooking 2 car parks. Shower hose very dirty.

the place was good as a base to explore the area. I was upset by the additionalbfees imposed by Stay and will avoid properties managed by them and advise all I talk to to do the same.

Great location - good to have a parking space too. Very clean (just a bit of dust on the floor - unavoidable so take slippers). Just like the photos - quite minimal which we like for a holiday. Comfy bed and lots of storage space. Would recommend.

The main difficulty was the unclear address given so we spent some time trying to get into the wrong property. The accommodation itself was excellent and gave us a lovely short break exploring the Northumberland coast.. only one dishwasher tablet provided which is inadequate for 3 night stay

Property insists on Cover Me insurance increasing the cost of a short break significantly. Positive: Like Seahouses so went for three days. Negative: This property insisted on cover me insurance despite other cleaning and hosting costs . Host & Stay insisted we take this out prior to giving us the key safe code. The system was down and I had to call them repeatedly before I was helped wasting my time and causing me anxiety on holiday. We were given the choice of paying a non refundable £25 or paying £250 with £240 being returned to us two weeks later . Unexpected costs for a short break which were excessive. The apartment was a bit spartan and located in a car park at the rear of a curry house. Will stay in a hotel next time.

Great apartment - shabby, unprofessional management company Positive: Property was very comfortable, well equipped and the location was great. AC would have been handy during our visit. Negative: The management company. Lied about the mandatory deposit, and only sent me that information teh day that my free cncallation had expired. I was backed into a corner to pay either a bond or make a deposit payment by card which is not fully refundable - even though the listing says it is. This is sharp practice - even the worst budget airline tell you they are going to shaft you in advance, not wait unti you can't do anything about it. If these are unavoidable costs, incude them in the headline pricing. Booking.com should take them to taks over this.

The location was good as it was right in the heart of the town. The downside is the front of the property looks out over the rear entrance to an Indian restaurant and all the bins. The rear door into the restaurant kitchen was open all the time. It was noisy and delivery drivers were coming and going all evening. The rear window looks out over a car park. The accommodation has all the facilities as described. The place is fairly clean but lacks attention to detail. Dust and fluff along skirting boards and edges of the floor. If you’re looking for quiet or romantic to relax in then this probably isn’t the place.

Walking distance to harbour for boat trips to the Farnes. Negative: Flat is behind main street shops through a narrow car drive. Difficult to spot the entrance on first arrival.

We decided to enjoy our stay Positive: Very clean room and good situation for our needs Negative: The absence of a manual to explain how the washing machine worked. The QR information is not available on our type of mobile phone. We did not like sitting on stools to eat at the counter. We would rather have a table and chairs. The views were carpark front and back but it was not noisy except for a loud crow !

We could not fault the actual apartment. Pros: It was spotlessly clean. The sofa was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Shower had great pressure and hot water. The kitchen was well-equipped. Easy walk to the Harbour to take a ferry to Farne Islands. We walked along the gorgeous coastline from Seahouses to Bamburgh Castle and back which is roughly 3 miles each way. We ate at The Black Swan in Seahouses and the food was delicious. To be fair the it is a convenient location. The only drawback to this property is that it sits in between the back of a restaurant and a carpark. That being said, we were out most of the time and on a night time, once we got in, there was no noise and cosy and warm.

Superb base in a great location. Positive: Great base and superb location. Communication with the team at Host & Stay was prompt, informative & helpful throughout our stay, we had a slight issue regarding the cooking hob on our arrival, we raised this with the team and it was dealt with very promptly and with zero impact on our stay, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Safe parking by front door ( easy for unloading etc), decent food outlets and supermarket all within under a 10 min walk. Our first trip/stay to the area and I really can't say enough about the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely couple of days. The apartment was centrally located. My only complaint was we had to pay a £250 deposit in case of damages to property. When we left we were advised this would Not be refunded for 7 days. There was also a non refundable £10 admin fee charged to us, this was to cover the payment of the £250 deposit. Very unsatisfactory policy.

Positive: Perfect location for all shops etc.

Seahouses Positive: Small, comfortable facility that provided us with what we required... a place to relax and a base foe exploring the area. Negative: Finding the place was difficult as it was dark when we arrived. Small issue but no dishwasher tablets so couldn't use it. Lots of email reminders stressing the importance of leaving by 1000 on day of departure.

Lovely apartment , wrong location, lacks comfort . Positive: Apartment lovely although smaller than anticipated and lacking comfort. OK for use as a base. Location although already aware of it it was very disappointing. Two views , the back of shops & a restaurant from kitchen window. The sights outside the back of the restaurant were an eyeopener. The second view , the main car park in Seahouses was the view from the lounge area. A high pitched humming could be heard in the bedroom at night ? from a generator affected my ears . I wore ear buds & played music to block it . Excess noise from the flat above at night and early morning a problem , sounded like furniture being moved around. Seahouses is one of our favourite places and this year we were recuperating and not traveling to other places like we normally would so the apartment was very convenient for all the places we wanted to be near to and handy for bobbing back to during the day. We made good use of the shops, restaurants and takeaways as they were literally on the doorstep.We also frequented the spa across the car park. Negative: I did not like communicating with three parties . Booking.com, Host and Stay and the link to Super hog to make payment for damage waiver cover. The humming from the generator . The views which are fleetingly mentioned in the details when advertised on all sites but although we know the area very well still came as a disappointment .

Great location walkable to coop harbour and lots of fish and chip shops. Property had all we needed for cooking and eating. We had trouble using the Netflix on the TV but wifi etc worked great
