The house was good for our family group. The bedrooms had clean bedding and the beds were comfortable- toilets and bathrooms were reasonably clean. Pots, pans and cutlery were clean and plenty of these. Kitchen was clean and well appointed. Some cleanliness issues which the representative s said they would take up with the housekeepers and offered us a deep clean which we refused as the time was not suitable for us.

A lovely very clean property with plenty of charm, handy for the centre of town. Positive: Very clean, well laid out, lovely thoughtful decor. Washing machine and dishwasher. Plenty for children: books, buckets and spades, even cutlery. Nice little courtyard. Convenient for the centre of Whitby. Negative: Pillows were a bit hard for us. Could have done with an extra hand towel in the top bathroom. Parking in the narrow cul-de-sac could be a bit tricky but roads around could also be used.

What a perfect place to stay in Whitby for the entire family!! The house itself was decorated beautifully and felt like home (if not a bit nicer!!). It had everything you could want, what stood out for us particularly was how well it catered for children! We visited with our 16 month old and there was a high chair, travel cot, baby bath, changing mat, plastic cutlery/ cups, books and games! It will save you lots of boot space!! The beds are nice and comfy, nice toiletries provided and towels! It's in a great location, walkable (5-10mins) to Whitby town center and all it's amenities. We always found a space on the street outside. If we are ever back in Whitby we will be staying here again! Thank you to the hosts!

Really enjoyed the house it was lovely and very spacious for a family of five adults. Positive: Very well appointed and comfortable we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Central location and we had no problem parking outside the property. I would definitely stay again.

Four of us stayed for a three day weekend. The house was immaculate. A short walk into town and we parked for free outside the door! Highly recommended.

Positive: The house was excellent, well equipped and plenty of room for 6 adults. It was an easy stroll into Whitby.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of bars and food outlets. Good base for our golf trip. Positive: Everything was excellent clean and tidy and only a short walk to centre which was not a problem for us. Negative: Only slight issue was parking. As it is a tight street. We had to park a couple of streets away one day as there were no spaces on our street. We did get blocked in by someone double parking opposite which meant we had to knock on doors for 10 minutes to find the culprit before we could get out for the day. It is a narrow street in a seaside town so to be expected though.

Lovely short break in Whitby in lovely accommodation. Positive: Well furnished. Very clean. Everything we needed. Negative: Very steep steps up to the attic room - a problem if mobility problems and the en-suite was very small but doable.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb in Whitby. The house was beautiful, very spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a great base for exploring the area, and we would happily stay here again. One thing to be aware of is that parking is very limited in the area, so it’s worth planning ahead if you’re travelling by car.

Beautiful 3 story house close to Whitby town. Positive: A beautiful 3 story house, decorated to a high standard and clean tasteful. Lovely bed linen and towels. Nice quality products in the bathrooms. Negative: We had a very upsetting issue when we arrived with the courtyard. It definitely was not as advertised. Small, dirty and blocked drains. We travelled with our 16 year old mini Dacshund and she had nowhere to go outside. The customer relations manager was very empathetic and sorted the situation fairly quickly. The smell from the drains remained for several days in the house and my husband ruined a pair of trainers trying to deal with mess. Im waiting to hear back from Host and Stay as this spoiled our first day. We were even contemplating going straight back home or requesting a different property.

Amazing house - will book again! Positive: This property is beautiful! Perfect for a family of 4 generations and the house is beautifully decorated. If you are travelling with a baby/ toddler there is a baby bath, travel cot, changing mats x 2 - so really well equipped. There is a cupboard full of books for younger children along with games, which were really appreciated by my grandson. There is a nespresso type coffee machine in the kitchen so take some pods along! Fully equipped kitchen with more than enough pans/ utensils and loads of toddler cutlery/ plates. Washing up liquid etc provided and plenty of spare loo rolls. It is a bit of a hill back from the harbour but good for the calf muscles I guess! Negative: In terms of the house and facilities - nothing!

Number 5 is excellent. The property is stunning. The host has paid so much attention to detail. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely little townhouse in a quiet area, 5 minute walk from town. Tastefully furnished and clean, equipped with everything we could have needed, we had a great stay, thank you!

Fantastic cottage, cleanliness let it down Positive: The cottage had been renovated to an exceptional high standard, the owners had given real thought to detail and extra touches such as wipe clean walls in the utility and outdoor warm water washing facilities. Other than maybe a waste bin in the bedrooms every want had been catered for, from babies, children, adults right through to furry friends. The cottage was comfortable and spacious and in a great location for exploring Whitby. On street parking close to the cottage was an added bonus. The owners should be proud. Negative: Cleanliness was an issue. Attention to detail is required! On arrival we found floors needed sweeping/vacuuming, dog hairs on sofa, dust on skirtings, surfaces and equipment, crumbs and dirt in fridge, freezer and breadbin, dirty filter on dishwasher, dirt and marks to walls and cupboards, several pieces of rubbish, used cotton wool pad, eyelash, hair bobble, hairs in the bed. It wasn't filthy but too many bits missed to make it acceptable. A real shame as this cottage could be a fantastic 5 star accommodation if this was rectified. We did raise the issue immediately and were told it would be re-cleaned the next day but this didn't happen.

Host was good with communicating with me about the stay, shared helpful info and the home was very easy to access. Decent on street parking available. Home was as described; good location and the rooms were bigger than I expected. Only thing I would comment on is that, as other guests have mentioned, it didn’t feel as though there had been a deep clean of the house before we stayed. There was new bedding, towels and a clean kitchen but some areas were very dusty and so surfaces didn’t feel super clean. Felt like the house needed airing out and a good deep clean, not just the basics. Overall good price and suited our needs with location and space. Asked to check in an hour or two earlier than 4pm but not able to, which was a shame.

No noise at all on a night Negative: Not property but if you weren’t very mobile hills back to house from Whitby would be a problem . But only £4 in a taxi . And it is only a 12 minute walk so wouldn’t let that put me off staying in this lovely property

Overall a lovely stay just needs a little TLC Positive: Free prosecco was a lovely touch. Communication with the host was very good. The location is very close to Whitby centre. Negative: The attic bed was very hard and the pillows were like cardboard. Carpets seemed like they hadn't been vacuumed throughout. Plates and mugs chipped. The sofa was uncomfortable. Overall the place just needed a little TLC to make it amazing, which it could easily be with a few small improvements.

Really lovely house with loads of little touches around which feels like a home away from home. Host was really understanding and changed our dates as we made a mistake when booking and our plans changed. The location is lovely within 10 walking minutes of Whitby centre. lovely cottage plenty of kitchen equipment. Short of cutlery but this has been mentioned.very big living areas . autistic friendly. great furniture and finished very well. Back yard seemed unloved but would stay here again

Nice holiday let Positive: Loved the lovely decor & the size of the house. Negative: The steep steps from the loft bedroom. The neighbours complaining about noise that was actually from a neighbouring rear property 🙄 A full wine glass left on the shelf in the twin bedroom from the previous guests.

Lovely property but extra charges added disappointing Positive: Good location- walking distance to Whitby town. Well equipped Negative: £25 non- refundable extra insurance charge added for breakages- never had to pay this before. Requested slightly early check in after long drive- informed £66 extra charge for one hour!

Great stay, nice place and perfect for walking in to Whitby. Parking can be problematic but other than that a lovely little house.

The place was done to an excellent standard and will be booking another long weekend soon. The house is finished to a high standard and felt all the furniture inside was new. Its location is excellent a short (5-6min) to the train station.
