Wonderful stay in Alnwick. There were 6 of us and the place had an enough space for all of us to be comfortable. It very clean and quiet location. Close to many things to do.Only thing to mention is that the single beds are narrow but still very comfortable.

Stayed as a party of 7. The house was clean and very comfortable. We all felt very relaxed here and agreed the house had a lovely feel about it. Decorated beautifully throughout and had everything we needed. Great communications from the hosts. Excellent location for walks into Alnwick. The only negative we found was the single beds were very narrow, the rooms would easily accommodate a bigger size. Having said that all the beds were comfortable with lovely bedding. We would all recommend and also stay here again.

Beautifully furnished and spacious house. Perfect for a weekend in Northumberland with friends or family. Very responsive host. Clean and comfortable with easy check in.

The house was in a good location and was very spacious - just what we needed for three couples

Long family weekend spent in Alnwick which is a gorgeous market town in a beautiful area . House was well furnished unlike many Airbnb living room had decent seating and in a quiet area within easy reach of town centre . Hosts were very clear in communication very easy to deal with

Magnifique Nous sommes resté du 4 au 10 août dans cette charmante maison confort sur les annonces il y a une baignoire en photo or elle n’y est plus. C’est une grande douche à l’italienne, c’était encore mieux. La maison était propre spacieuse confortable. Nous étions deux adultes et deux enfants c’était top, l’emplacement les commerces et les activités à faire nous en avons pris plein les yeux.la région est magnifique nous avons pu visiter plein de château et d’autres lieu magnifique très proche à découvrir nous avons été émerveillés le quartier est calme nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison

Excellent would highly recommend and also have no hesitation to revisit will do again soon!! Positive: The property itself is lovely and the hosts have thought about everything from simple tea and coffee to board games in the living room chest. It’s a short walk to the town centre/anywhere within Alnwick and plenty of room for 2 families Negative: Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn’t working and must have been blocked as you could smell it-that wasnt the hosts fault however and we were told this would be getting fixed by the agency. the cleaner could have dusted a bit better as the tops of the beds were covered in dust which you could see and round about skirtings etc but that’s just us being picky!

The Newton House was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Alnwick. Coming with my family as well as my parents, Newton House was the perfect size for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids. We all had the privacy we wanted, clean and functional en-suites, and plenty of space to spread out. Our kids had the choice of two beds in the same room or each getting their own (they chose their own.) The kitchen was fully stocked, towels and linens provided, beds were very comfy, plenty of pillows...nothing was needed besides personal belongings. Quiet street, can walk to town if desired, easy parking, quiet back patio for relaxing...I can't say enough. Highly recommend for a family or couple friends looking for something with a bit more space. Thank you! Will definitely stay again.

A lovely Easter break Positive: We absolutely loved our stay, it was such a nice house with lots of space and very tastefully decorated. There was a large park just around the corner and all of the Alnwick attractions were only a 10-15 minute walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it 🌟 Negative: N/A - we loved it!

Clean and comfortable house, we chose this as it said downstairs bedroom and bathroom to make it suitable for my Dad who is 96 and uses a walker… The downstairs bathroom was basically a cloakroom toilet with a shower squeezed into the space, you had to squeeze past the toilet to get into the shower and no room to put his walker so that had to be left outside the toilet door, so not ideal and maybe this should be more detailed for future guests that have mobility issues. Other than that the house was great and very clean and comfortable

A lovely house in a quiet location but very close to the town centre

Our family of 6 enjoyed this spacious home, especially the youngest at 4 who loved the touches for little ones (puzzles, games, etc). Having two shower bathrooms and a water closet was great! The garden was lovely as well. It was the perfect launching location for nearby attractions too.

We had a fabulous time in a beautiful area, staying in a delightful house Positive: We cooked our own breakfast Negative: The house was very comfortable however, the grout in the shower upstairs needs some attention.

Lovely large house in great location and private large garden Positive: Lovely 4 bedroom house.10 min walk to Alnwick restaurants bars and shops. Private large garden with great facilities Negative: Needs updating in a few areas. Appreciate can't help creaky floorboards but sofa needs replacing as so uncomfortable. Outdoor furniture also very old. Bathroom floor needs regrouting..

Great place to stay. Ten minute walk into the town centre where there are lots of restaurants and bars. No problem parking two cars, one off road and one directly in front of the house. The house was well presented and very clean. Will definitely stay there again if back in that area.

A great place near to Alnwick with lovely big rooms inside. Walking distance to shops and easy driving to lovely Alnmouth. Plenty of hot water and cupboard space in bedrooms and kitchen. Garden could have done with a bit of attention as was overgrown and furniture outside could’ve done with updating as was uncomfortable and creaky!

Positive: Shower excellent beds very comfortable

We came here as a family of 4 (with a baby), we enjoyed our stay at this place, great location with easy walkable access to local attractions and amenities. Parking was very easy. The house was very warm and comfortable and well decorated. The bed was comfy and the bedrooms are spacious. We brought our own baby travel cot bed and used it with no problem. Floor boards around the house can be squeaky which was not ideal with a baby who is very sensitive to noise, but otherwise wouldn't have been a problem. We found the steps on the staircase a bit narrow, but then again we wouldn't have noticed that if we didn't have a baby with us and didn't have to carry her everywhere around the house! Overall, the place is clean, spacious and comfortable, and the host is approachable and quick to respond. Many thanks.

Good location for Alnwick and the area.

Enjoyed a great stay in this beautiful and comfortable home. Great location, easy parking and children enjoyed using the garden. Clean, warm, everything we needed.

Great location and house ideal for a break away

The house is centrally located and it is easy to get into town with a number of grocery stores close by. The beds were comfortable. We did have some issues with a broken thermostat. We notified the host as soon as we checked in and had to follow up 6 hours later or face chilly night. The host was able to provide a temporary fix until the problem was rectified 3 days later (we checked in on a Friday and it was fixed Monday morning). Outside of this issue everything else worked was great.

Large and well presented house in a quiet street and within walking distance of Alnwick town centre. Only negative was sofa was broken & dishwasher wasn't working.

Comfortable, convenient for Alnwick centre and in a quiet residential area. Only problems were the lighting in the living room was too dim to read a book, the dishwasher wasn’t working and the little handle on the door snib on the upstairs toilet door was missing, making it difficult to lock and unlock the door. Overall, we had a very pleasant five days stay.

Perfect for what we wanted ,a homely base in Alnwick to spend some time exploring a little bit of beautiful Northumberland.

Lovely house

Excellent and would book again Positive: Lovely house in a great location and Really nicely decorated. Slightly let down by the finishing touches, peeling paint coming off the walls, coat hooks lying on the floor and the garden needs tidying but overal nothing that ruined our break away

Negative: No control of heating and it was cold

The house is in a nice, quiet area within walking distance of local shops, restaurants and a play park. The decor is great, the beds were comfy, good quality bedding and furniture, and the showers were fab. We would definitely stay here again.

this place is in a lovely, quiet area of Alnwick. it is easy to walk into the centre of town/ castle/ gardens from the property. it was easy to check in and the instructions for the property were very clear and easy to access through the guidebook.

We had a lovely stay at Newton house in Alnwick. A very cosy house, beautifully decorated in a quiet street and we felt right at home immediately. Very spacious with plenty of seating, sofa was comfortable and all pillows and cushions soft and luxurious. We enjoyed a walk into the town centre for lunch and everything was very convenient. Parking was straightforward and didn't have any trouble finding a space on the street. We would recommend Newton house to anyone who wants to explore Alnwick and the rest of Northumberland!

Spacious and well presented accommodation in a quiet residential area close to the town. I would have given this five stars but there were a couple of issues. The house gutter above the downstairs bedroom was leaking allowing drips to fall on the bedrooms flat roof. This was quite noisy and kept us awake at night. The dishwasher stopped working after a couple of days. These were both reported to airbnb. The shower curtain in the down stairs shower is far too short with a large gap between the bottom edge and the shower tray. Any thing left outside the shower gets very wet. If these problems are resolved I'd probably stay again.
