“We stayed here for a long weekend and honestly didn't want to leave. The cottage has so much character. You can tell real thought has gone into it. The setting is gorgeous, proper woodland all around, and it felt completely tucked away from the world. Barnstaple is only a short drive if you need to stock up, and the North Devon beaches are close enough for a day trip without feeling rushed. Check-in was straightforward, and everything was clean and well set up on arrival. Only thing worth knowing is the mobile signal is patchy — but honestly that just added to the switch-off vibe. Would definitely book again.”
