This property is great for our needs. I am from the area originally so knew exactly what I was getting. It's a residential area and in a quiet location, perfect for us as it was very close to my dad's house but it's away from the main beach and amenities (save for the Grotto). Very quiet, kitchen and bathroom are lovely. The only things I would suggest by way of an improvement are garden furniture. We had lovely weather but there was no way to sit outside and enjoy it. Another review suggested games and activities for children, which I agree would be helpful. Finally, it would be really helpful to have the option of a single bed set up instead of two doubles as the boys really struggled to share a bed. However overall a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The property has been nicely decorated - it is very lovely inside as per the photos - other than the garden- the grass was higher than my knees, so unkempt. That is where any positives end though. The neighbours were out drinking cans of lager and smoking weed in the garden until gone 11pm - their back door is boarded up. I had the patio door open and they kept sticking their heads through over the fence to ask if I wanted to join them. Really kind - but really intrusive. They hate the fact that this property is rented out rather than having a permanent neighbour - they were fine with me because I'm from the north east originally. They then played music until 1am - and the walls are paper thin. They were planning the same for the following night - they invited me to that as well. I did communicate all of this to the Host & Stay Team that night and was offered no help. I booked for 9 nights and stayed 1 night - moved to another Airbnb.
The house is beautifully and comfortably appointed. We liked the wet room as a bathroom and a separate toilet. In the main bedroom is a fabulous mirror. It is easy to cook in the kitchen. The location is quiet and looks out over The Leas towards the sea. Bring a pair of binoculars for boat watching - we saw a navy frigate and a tall ship - and birds.
Lovely house throughout Only problem was there’s two key locks and was trying to get in for ten minutes before realising there were two locks 🙄 Didn’t find it family friendly for young children , no books or board games and the grass was taller than the children and could do with maintaining Apart from that it’s in a lovely quiet location across from Marsden beach .
Good but it can be better. Positive: I enjoy watching the ship go by through bedroom window and walking on the Marden beach. I am an elderly and walking too much is not good for my joints and knee but I really enjoy walking on Marden Beach because it is different from any beach of these world. Negative: There is no microwave in the property even it is on the contract. Charlie may take microwave out of listing of facilities. I asked for it but Charlie said try using the oven meaning Charlie do not care what we think about microwave. The rail go to upstair is rikerty and moving when I hold to it and feeling it might came off while I hold on to it. The whole piece of wood rail might be better.
Ideal place did a relaxing break with amazing sea views. Positive: The house is lovely and spacious, with nice furniture and comfy beds. It’s well equipped in the kitchen, bedding and towels were good quality too. The area was quiet and the sea views really made it special. Negative: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, however I think there could be a little table and chairs in the back garden on the decking because the sea views are amazing. And a microwave would be a good edition to the kitchen.

Great location, good little house, well equipped
we were looking for a getaway on the coast and this place was perfect. The nearby beach wasso clean, the sand was soft & the sea was blue. The weather was beautiful gor us as well. The house we stayed in was perfect for us.
Positive: The location and the house are beautiful. The location was perfect for doing the great north run Negative: There wasn't no live tv but wouldn't put me off in the future as we could still watch netflix and other streaming services

Positive: Property was modern and very clean. Really appreciated the little extras like toiletries, tea, coffee and milk etc. Location and views were excellent. Negative: Some garden furniture would have made the stay perfect.
Positive: Location was perfect, and everything was nearly brand new so all in very good condition Negative: In general everything was great but I only have 2 comments to make . Microwave was mentioned on the inventory but there was no microwave in the property. Bathroom was nice and big and modern but after showering everything was soaking wet and toll an eternity to dry, so I purchased a £1 squeegee which worked brilliant to dry the floor. I left this for the next guest.
