Very pleasant cottage with lovely views over fields in charming village of Osmotherly.
Excellent two bedroom place in a great spot in Osmotherley, right on the edge of the Moors. Very high spec throughout, modern, well furnished and decorated, with everything you could need. The views over the countryside are superb. We stayed as a family of four and it suited us perfectly. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you.

This property is overlooking a gorgeous grassland area which me and my colleague enjoyed watching the Swifts on an evening from. Parking is a tiny struggle up the hill but the area is completely safe and the house was well-renovated with a lovely history and provided little milk sachets in the fridge along with all facilities functional and beds comfy

Uitstekende keuze om een paar dagen te verblijven. Positive: De aangename sfeer van het huis vonden we heel goed, het was prima ingericht met uitstekende bedden. Het ligt dichtbij het dorp en de Coast to Coastroute. Gastvrije introductiehandleiding met daarbij de historie van het huis. Vriendelijke mensen in het dorp; open voor leuke gesprekken. Negative: Het was prachtig weer. Omdat we met vier waren, misten we 2 stoelen om buiten te zetten. Een tafeltje zou ook handig zijn geweest.
Excellent location in the hambleton area amazing spot for exploring the area so many things to do. Had a meal at the the golden lion in the village which was really good. We went to pately bridge and visited the nidderdale museum which was great! The bungalow is very homely and we all really did have an excellent stay and I would recommend. I will just add that the entrance to the property is a small but steep hill- ok for the car but I’m not sure my elderly dad would’ve been able to manage, the paving at the front of the property is loose and needs fixed sooner rather than later too. Unfortunately the beautiful deep bath was not good for us as 3 of the 4 staying couldn’t get in it to have a bath or shower so we reverted to washing at the sink like in the olden days! These problems would not stop me going back again at all as the holiday as a whole was one of the best I’ve had!
