Nice accommodation and lovely setting. Shame about the checking in process Positive: The property itself is great. Plenty of room for a party of 6. Well equipped kitchen, modern decor, very clean and tidy everything you need. The site is very well maintained and we’ll set out. Negative: Nothing to fo r we it’s the property itself there was nothing not to like about it. The only issues I had were conflicting messages through booking.com from prestige snd another company. Not quite sure what is going on but very confusing prior to actually getting there. Too many phone calls when a simple message would do.

Largest lodge we have stayed in plenty of room.Hot tub jets could of been more powerful but still usable.

Family retreat Positive: Idyllic location, very quiet. Lovely & clean. Really spacious lodge. Ideal for us as a family retreat. The bar & restaurant is a short walk, great selection of drinks there & food was really good too. Overall very impressed with the lodge, just the break we needed. Negative: The sofa bed isn’t very comfortable due to dip in the centre, daughter eventually had to sleep on the other sofa. The lodge Could do with more cutlery & glasses but that’s minor. The situe of the sofa bed means you need to be vary when walking barefoot. I badly hurt my foot when making the bed due to not seeing the granite hearth as it was concealed by the bed frame. I’ve pointed this out as I believe the sharp granite edges could benefit with plastic edge covers.

Positive: Comfortable. Very nice area Negative: Arrival time from 16.00 pm. Check out time 10.00 am. What is that??? I booked for two days but it is really one and half days...

Positive: Inside was clean, nothing to complain about inside. Negative: Upon arrival hot tub was filthy, didn’t work properly and could visibly see the hot tob wasn’t in the best condition with things missing etc. Hot tub bubbles wasn’t working and was dirty when we arrived - we went to the hut to complain about this and got “they may come and clean it they may not” when in the hut we also explained we aren’t the most clued up on hot tubs to which they told me the bubbles were working when they very clearly wasn’t. This retreat has had multiple reviews about the hot tub been dirty and not working so im not at all happy about been fobbed off like this!

Lodge could have been a little cleaner work tops and floors

Lovely stay away for the Easter holidays with the kids , this was our 2nd time here and would come back again
