Nice flat but tap was broken in bathroom and cupboards in bedrooms looked like random cupboards bought from charity shops. it was spacious and tidy and I would stay there again

Nice place but terrible directions/set up Positive: The place itself is in a great location and very pleasant. No problems with the premises and a nice place to stay Negative: The link sent by booking.com does not take you to the correct location. We then hunted down the correct building from the photo and initial listing. The keys were described as "in a lock box in the main entrance", this is not the case as the lock box is at the back of the building on a different street to the address given. Rang the help number but they were unable to contact the owner. Once the lockbox was opened we had 8 random unlabeled keys that looked identical and had to play trial and error at every door. Once inside there was no water from any taps. Messaged the app and no response until the next morning. In the meantime we searched the flat for the main valve which was turned off and located outside the flat in a shared entryway. A really nice place but arrival and help an utter faff.

Unfortunately this is a very poorly cleaned property. The pots were dirty, day bed unusable, bathroom filthy, kitchen filthy with food splatted up walls and floors clearly not cleaned, general living spaces dirty, very dusty, sticky bed side tables, window frames etc filthy, coffee spills down bedroom furniture the list is endless. I did complain on the day of our arrival it’s taken 2 weeks and 3 days to deal with our complaint and I have been offered 20% off my next stay so to be compensated I have to book again. An absolute joke. The only good thing about the property is the location. Upon arrival you are taken round the back of the property which isn’t as pretty, looks abit run down and scruffy so was a little shock as the back isn’t advertised in the listing. It is well equipped with everything you may need however you will have to wash all pots before using them. Originally I thought the hosts were easy to communicate with as they do reply very quickly but come to complaints they take the time. They did offer to come in and clean during our stay but given the state of the property I didn’t feel the cleanliness required would have been achieved.

The property is in a good location and is as pictured. Towels and bedding were provided which were clean. Unfortunately when we arrived the water was turned off at the mains due to a leak. This was clearly known about already but had not been fixed prior to us renting the property. I contacted the company and was advised someone would be out the following day to fix it. In the meantime we had to turn the water on and off whenever we needed to use it which was very frustrating. Unfortunately no one came the following day and I had to chase the company for an update. A plumber did come on our third day and fixed the issue thankfully.

Positive: Property was well maintained and as advertised. Negative: The water pressure in the shower was very poor. We had to use it on Echo only as on high it was either freezing or scolding and the on the Echo it was very luke warm at best. On arrival there was no water at all, we had to turn it on from outside as it had been disconnected, not the best 1st impression.

When we got there no heating or hot water, spoke to Reece and between us got it working, toilet seat not fitted correctly and it slid about, wardrobe was chock full of ‘stuff, had to empty it to put our clothes away, could do with a mirror and chair in main bedroom
