Amazing place me and my 5 kids loved it here. Very spacious to cook an so close to Whitby. The amenities were amazing. We felt so comfortable an at peace, and it’s spacious we loved the two days here. Thank you for letting us stay. We definitely would stay again

Lovely property in a great location. A few small tweaks would make it perfect. Positive: Lovely spacious property, with plenty of room for our two families. The addition of the hot tub (which is actually hot, not lukewarm like a lot of holiday properties) makes the property really good value. Negative: The cleanliness of the showers on both floors wasn’t great - we felt more attention to detail was needed by the cleaning team. The main bedroom was lacking a mirror near the dressing table and the pots and pans in the property have seen better days (Teflon coating flaking off many of them).

We really enjoyed our stay at littlebeck house overall, the size of the house was great for our family and the location was great. Really nice garden centre a few minutes walk away and a local pub over the bridge. We also made use of the bus and train in to Whitby. however on arrival we noticed that the house wasn’t as clean as you would expect with dirt on the floor in the entrance and the kitchen floor looked to need a good mop. In the bedrooms you could literally write your name in the dust on the bedside tables which my son actually did do! However the bathrooms were spotless and the beds themselves were very clean and comfy too. we also noticed the living room door doesn’t shut which is frustrating when you have a baby and a dog constantly trying to escape out of it. I did see an old review mention this but seems to have not being fixed. Overall the place is great, I think abit of TLC is needed to keep up to the property and a little more attention when cleaning is needed. 😊

Beautiful property, so spacious downstairs for all the family to relax! All bedrooms were lovely and bathrooms very clean. Only downside was the lounge area door not shutting properly, just made it abit difficult trying to keep the dogs from going upstairs.

Positive: The house was really lovely , there was plenty of space , enough seating for everyone.The rooms were lovely , beds comfy.Shower gels and soaps were plentiful.Tiolet rolls maybe a little excessive to have individual wrapped rolls in each toilet / bathroom. The location was perfect , really quaint and very peaceful We had a meal at The Stables which is a beautiful place with nice food , we also had a take away from a really tasty Thai place in Whitby. We went to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay and loved walking round each one We had not realised there was a jacuzzi on the property , which looked lovely, but we never had time to take a dip. The house was faultless; spacious and clean, with modern decor throughout. Perfect for our stay, the train station was a 5 minute walk and only a 10 minute journey into Whitby. Would definitely recommend for families/ friends.

Great property Positive: Perfect location & size for the family gathering we arranged. Loved the open plan living area 👌 we had a couple of housekeeping issues but nothing we couldn't rectify ourselves & keep Host & Stay informed about with the easy to use messaging service. Negative: The garden wasn't useable, although we weren't expecting to get much use from it in February. It's not enclosed, so that would rule it out for some dog owners!

We found Littlebeck House to be perfect for our needs. 4 adults and 3 children felt right at home as soon as we entered. It lacked nothing, was clean, and tidy with good attention to detail. The location is perfect, just minutes away from Whitby. we would highly recommend Littlebeck House.

Short Break Great location, house was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Shame there was no gate on the garden as made it difficult to have the back doors open with small children and a dog. Other than that a great stay.

We loved staying at this home and it would be perfect for a family holiday. We would stay again if it was just us but since we have a pet I doubt we will ever again. Unfortunately it is not as described i.e. dog friendly. The garden area is not enclosed as stated and our dog could easily run off from it if we had not blocked the pathway down the side of the house. Also the steps from patio to grass are not safe for anything other than a large dog being high and steep. The small grass area was new, therefore extremely sparsely seeded and very muddy, typical newbuild. A shame really as the house was nice but Definitely not dog friendly. ps the room door would not close properly so it was difficult to stop pets from running upstairs, needs sorting.

Very lovely home to spend the weekend. Spacious, clean and lovely furnishings. The hot tub was a great added bonus. Just a couple things that could be improved but felt they were quite important … the home is pet friendly but asks dogs don’t go upstairs - no problem except the living room door doesn’t close (handle broken) and leads directly to the stairs. A stair gate or a fixed door would make it a bit easier to relax rather than having to constantly keep an eye on pets. A few extra cloths would be a bonus as with seven people in the house two don’t last very long. The hot tub was great but was freezing when we arrived. Despite putting it on when we got there we weren’t able to use it at all until the next day. This was a shame as we were only staying two nights. Finally three tvs but only one remote!

The open plan living area worked perfectly for us and the back garden was a secure space for our dog. The location was beautiful, and the hot tub was an added bonus. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The bed on the top floor was really comfy The two doubles on the first floor weren't quite as good, but overall we had a really good stay.

Lovely family gathering and we had a good time. This property could be excellent with attention to the housekeeping. Positive: Space, location, good for pets. Negative: Poor cleaning - dirty towel on bathroom floor. No dusting. Dirty oven. Outside area - loose stones everywhere - no equipment to clean with/no spare bin bags. 2 toilet rolls in total in the whole house. One tiny bar of soap for the whole house, no tea towel, no dishcloth and no sweeping brush or dustpan.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb just outside of Whitby! The location was perfect, and the space was incredibly spacious and modern. It was so peaceful and relaxing, making it ideal for a getaway. My dog loved it too! There were free tea bags, coffee & milk and toiletries, which were a great added bonus! We will definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!

Excellent spot for a get away, spent my 20th birthday here with a few friends. Had a great time and there’s lots of activities in Whitby town which is only about a 10 minute car trip. The place was great, nice and spacious and the hot tub was a nice play to kick back and relax in at the end of the day. Overall, I’d recommend and will be back soon.

Absolutely stunning location, the house is decorated nicely but needs a refresh now. Few snagging issues, downstairs toilet towel rail is hanging off and the lock doesn’t work. The door into longe does not close at all, there were a lot of cobwebs up high and a bin bag of rubbish left in the garden. There has been a leak from the main bathroom and the ceiling is stained and damaged. The main bathroom shower door does not close properly neither does the fridge as it doesn’t get cold enough. Our biggest bug bear was the oven, for two full size ovens there are only 2 shelves, no grill trays which makes it hard to even heat pizzas for a group of adults. The hot tub is a nice addition however I don’t think the chemicals were measured correctly as they burned our eyes, you must have the doors open fully on the hot tub shed as it’s not good to breathe in. Overall we would come back, the house really is a gem in a gorgeous location but it needs some TLC and attention 2make it even better

The cottage was like the pictures and was lovely and spacious. Rooms were a good size and the bathrooms were too. Kitchen was well equipped too which was great. Just a couple of negatives, when we entered the property, the kitchen table beside the patio doors was dirty and covered in crumbs and for a group of 5 adults, there was only 2 toilet rolls provided despite there being 3 toilets which meant we had to find a shop to buy some more. We understand that these didn’t have to be provided, however, we thought it would make sense for there to be at least one in each bathroom, especially when it is listed that these are provided. However, we still enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was pleasant, very modern house and the open plan kitchen & living room met our needs as a group. The house was cleaned but quite poorly as there were still signs on dirt on carpets, tried to hoover this ourselves but the bag needed a replacement and smelled extremely strong of pets due to it being full. Bedrooms very modern with plenty of storage for belongings. The only upset caused for us was the hot tub which was a huge selling point to why we chose this property. We were unable to use this on 2 out of our 3 nights stay due to it not heating up to temperature. We feel that something needs to be done to enable guests to use it on all 3 nights that are booked and paid for, as by day 2 the temperature had still only reached 27 degrees. We just feel on reflection the price we paid was due to having access to a hot tub as this is surely the selling point and we didn’t receive this for the majority of our stay which kind of spoilt it for us.

Disappointed for Christmas Negative: ⭐ 1 star – Extremely disappointing experience and poor handling of missing property We stayed with Host & Stay over the Christmas week and were extremely disappointed with both the condition of the property and the customer service that followed. On arrival, the property was not clean. There were stains all over the carpets, none of the carpets appeared to have been hoovered, the blinds were broken, and the toaster did not work. All of these issues were reported to customer services via email while we were still staying at the property, yet nothing was done to resolve any of them. To make matters worse, when we checked out on 27/12, I accidentally left a drawer full of clothes stored under the bed. I contacted Host & Stay immediately and was initially told the items would be returned. After several back-and-forth emails chasing updates and asking whether I could collect them in person, I was finally told on 06/01 that housekeeping had not come across any clothes at all. Given that the items were reported straight away and left inside a drawer under the bed, this is extremely concerning. At this point, I can only assume the clothes were either disposed of or taken. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. The lack of cleanliness, failure to resolve reported issues, and the handling of missing personal belongings show a serious lack of care and accountability. I would not stay with Host & Stay again and would not recommend them to others.

What an incredible spot just a short drive to Whitby but also not far from great hikes and flamingo land! Quiet area with only a stream and some sheep for background noise. Lots of communication before arriving and a handy app for other information when you arrive. We used the hot tub every night and made the most of the indoor space too. As a family of 6 we felt we had plenty of space and would stay again.

The house was perfect for our weekend of walking and the hot tub was a great addition! bedding and towels were clean and the house was well presented. A lovely stay, great location and such a good spot for walks and a venture into Whitby on the train(station just over the bridge). We would stay again!

We had an amazing time for my friends birthday

Great stay, lovely little hideaway for a relaxing girls weekend. Hot tub and space was clean and easy to use Host was very responsive and quick when approached with questions prior to check in Pillows could maybe use an update if possible, but nothing major I’m maybe a little fussy when it comes to pillows Would have maybe been nice to be able to use the hot tub on the morning of check out. Would recommend for close access to Whitby but for enough out for quiet and peace, sleights railway station practically on door step and we also walked into Whitby , took less than an hour! Was great

Lack of due care and attention, disappointing. Positive: The rooms are large and this is in a nice quiet location. Negative: On arrival we found the following: Coffee table dirty, Hob and ovens dirty, Four dishwasher tablets despite seven of us staying for four nights. Only Three toilet rolls provided. Dirty air vent in bathroom. Not enough knives and forks. The bathroom smells of bad drains, a Dirty Shower, and the doors did not close correctly. No phone coverage on EE, Hot tub cold and no instructions on how to use it. It was also locked to a cool setting. Thin towels in hot tub area, No scourer or proper dishcloths supplied to help you clean the items you used. One old thin tea towel. Toaster doesn’t work unless you held the button down, plus it only did two slices of toast. Breakfast bar stools painful to sit on, needs cushions. Skirting boards dirty. Water marks on lounge ceiling Freezer needs defrosting can’t open drawers properly and previous occupants stuff left in it. Cleaner left dirty cleaning cloths on table. A stain on the carpet which could have been cleaned. The pans were in a terrble state, you didn't want to use them. Only one casserole dish and one glass baking dish. Only one rack per oven, so trying to cook a family meal was a struggle. The cupboard space is lacking. No kitchen rolls were supplied either. This was a poorly cared-for property, which is a shame because it could have been stunning. No attention to details and cleanliness defintely needs addressing.

The house was in a good location and is modern but attention to detail is missing. Positive: The house is in a lovely location and is new and modern with fab decor. The bed linen was clean and fresh. Negative: The property wasn't very clean when we arrived, the garden wasn't in good condition and the grass wasn't cut so we were unable to use this. I requested a high chair at booking but there wasn't one in the property so I called to advise, but was told we wouldn't be getting one for the stay, however, no one had contacted us or replied to say this wasn't possible, so we didn't bring a portable one. We were unable to use the washer as it was full stagnant water and was faulty. There were some other issues too and I sent an email and photos to let the company know so hopefully these issues will have been addressed ad resolved for future users.

Beautiful house very clean stylish. Beds very comfortable. Tvs in most rooms that work on the apps all set up ready to view. Hot tub great . We found it a great base to explore the area. Garden centre licensed cafe in walking distance 10-5pm and a hotel pub open from 5pm. Definitely recommend * back garden would be nice to have some outdoor furniture to sit out .

Really comfortable beds and pillows. A nice big open space downstairs. Needs TLC, attention to detail & a deep clean. Hosts offered to get the cleaning team in while we were there but we were already settled so declined. Great potential!

We had a brilliant few days at Littlebeck House with the whole family and would happily book again. The house itself is exactly as pictured: spacious, stylishly furnished and genuinely set up for a family group rather than feeling like a squeeze. The open-plan living and kitchen area gave everyone room to spread out, and having four bedrooms meant no one was tripping over each other. The private hot tub was the highlight for us. Tucked away in its own sunroom, it was clean, well maintained and perfect for winding down in the evenings after a day out exploring. Location-wise, it's hard to fault. Close enough to Whitby to nip in for the day, yet quiet enough in Briggswath to feel like a proper escape, with the North York Moors right on the doorstep for walks. Self check-in via the lockbox was straightforward, and Host & Stay were responsive whenever we had a question. Parking on-site was a nice bonus too, given how tight things can get in this part of Yorkshire. Thoroughly recommend

We have previously stayed in the property two doors down owned by the same people so knew what to expect. Lovely big living space ideal for being all together at meal times and to play games, newish bathrooms and lovely sized bedrooms plus the brilliant hot tub. Only downside is the cleanliness of the place. The carpets are quite stained and had bits in them and didn’t even look like they had been hoovered. All the toilets smelt of dirty drains. It was unbearable at times in the day. Dirt on the walls behind sofa and the coffee table needed a good clean. These are not difficult things to sort out and should be easy for the owner to rectify.

Fantastic property. Went with dad and two children. Beds were so comfortable, everywhere clean and hot tub was the finishing touch. So quiet and peaceful. Central location for all areas with Whitby only 2 miles away. Definitely recommend.

Great house. Pleasantly surprised when we opened the door. Its like a tardis. When we pulled up i thought it looked small. Was i wrong. Beautiful inside. Great size rooms, living room, kitchen diner, bedrooms and bathrooms. Excellent accessories in kitchen. Everything you need. Hot tub was great. Enjoyed a relaxing drink in there after busy days out. Highly recommend this house. And Excellent contact from hosts with everything you need to know. Good area close to Whitby, pickering and surrounding areas.

Excellent, spacious home for our family. The communication was fantastic throughout and beforehand. We loved staying here, it was perfectly placed, on both bus and train routes so we could easily get about. The home was very clean and had everything we needed! Thank you!

We booked this air bnb for my Husbands 30th Birthday to celebrate the weekend with some friends. The house was spotless and so spacious for 7 people! Great open plan living room/kitchen which was great for hosting and cooking evening meals. The location was so handy as Whitby seafront was only a short drive , there was plenty to do there as well. The only thing I would have recommended to make the stay better was perhaps some outdoor furniture to use out the back garden, it was such a hot day and would have been lovely to sit in the sun. Or if a BBQ was provided this would have been a lovely thing to use as well. The price was amazing for such a lovely home and location and we sure will be back again to use the hot tub! Beautiful place and great location for visiting Whitby. The house was clean and well presented. There was lots of space and beautiful scenery around. The host made check-in very easy with simple and clear instructions. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Positive: The accommodation was nice apart from the outside area at the rear of the house it would have been nice to use grassed area. But it was untidyand long and over grown with trees from the property behind apart from that it was nice

Fantastic base just a 10 minute drive into Whitby

Good stay however cleaning was very poor and could have done with an earlier check in. Minimal equipment for children eg no travel cot, high chair or cutlery.

We were so disappointed with this stay, the Airbnb was filthy. The pots and pans had old food on and we had to wash these before cooking. Both showers had excessive black mould on the doors and shower heads. There were what looked like blood stains on one of the pillow cases, someone’s hair in the bathroom drawer. There was a massive brown stain in the lounge on the carpet and a dark red stain on the carpet in one of the bedrooms and one of the bedside lights was missing a lightbulb. The garden was not kept well at all and was full of weeds and corks/decorations from previous stays and unfortunately our WiFi router box stopped working completely on our last night and despite checking the fuse box/sockets/restarting etc, we couldn’t fix it and were unable to watch tv as it was all connected to WiFi. We were so disappointed we have asked for a partial refund. The host was responsive when we reported this but not helpful in getting the wifi sorted, unfortunately the standard was so poor.

We arrived at the house and everything was spotlessly clean.Nice layout and bedrooms have everything you needed.We had 2 issues while we were there and both got sorted in rapid time.Infact I couldn't believe how quickly it was sorted.Excellant service.We had a lovely stay. Hot tub was lovely although we didn't really use it due to daughter being pregnant.Would definitely stay here again.

Overall we wouldn’t list this stay in particular as ‘premium or luxury’ but it was a comfortable stay. The lack of cleanliness was the most noticeable issue for us and this should have been more thorough as large stains were everywhere. This listing states it caters up to 7 guests but we felt the lack of some basic kitchen essentials meant we had to purchase household items. You’d need to bring dish cloths or sponges, bin liners, a saucepan etc. The location is great for accessing all that Whitby has to offer. We did find that the parking space isn’t sufficient for 2 cars but 1 car is fine (we were a group of 7). We did enjoy the hot tub but didn’t realise it is based at the front of the house however it is enclosed. Although the chemicals may need looking at as our eyes were sore after use so maybe leave the doors open? The size of the living room/kitchen area is great and super spacious and ideal for any celebrations. There was no hot water in the top shower but beds were cosy.

Nicely maintained property and in a good location, out of the centre of Whitby but very easily accessible but car, train or bus.

The photos of the house are accurate. Nice space for social interactions downstairs and lovely bedrooms.

Lovely modern house, spacious and a great position for visiting Whitby, Robinhoods bay etc

We recently stayed here and overall had a lovely visit. The home is in a great location and is a really nice property with plenty of space. It was tidy on arrival and well stocked — toilet rolls and toiletries were provided in each bathroom, the kitchen had everything we needed including coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, and there were plenty of towels in the bedrooms as well as extras near the hot tub, which was a nice touch. When we first arrived the heating wasn’t working, however after sending a message on Airbnb we received a very quick response and a solution straight away. The staff at Host & Stay were extremely helpful and responsive throughout. The only downside was a damp/musty smell as soon as we walked in. There appears to be an ongoing leak from the main bathroom into the living room ceiling — this area was wet when we arrived but did dry over the two days we stayed. The property could also benefit from a deeper clean and a few small DIY fixes. Overall, we had a gr

Lovely home in a lovely location within easy reach of Whitby and the coast. Nice pub, bakery and shops nearby. Easy check-in and good communication throughout with quick responses. The house was well-equipped and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice furniture. A little bit weathered in areas - with locks or doors needing repair, a leaky gutter in the rain and the garden needed some love! But overall, we had a nice time.

The house was tastefully decorated. Beautiful living space and gorgeous bedrooms. Lovely modern bathrooms. The house was spotlessly clean. And the hot tub was a fantastic bonus. Would definitely recommend to others.

Overall really good stay loved the area and surroundings really nice place to stay and visit. All rooms were and beds were great. Only a couple of small cosmetic things need sorting out ie the ceiling in the front room has had a leak at some point and has not been repainted the skirts look like they have been chewed in places and an the staircase could do with a paint.

The property space is ideal for socialising. Unfortunately the property requires a deep clean and is inundated with spiders and hair from previous guests. The bedding was clean, as were the towels, but that was about it. Such a shame as the space and location are great!

Positive: Location was good. Bedrooms were a good size. Beds were clean and comfortable. Negative: Cleanliness was not good. Had to complain and a cleaner did come the next day to do a rough clean. Furnishing in main area were not comfortable. Didn't use garden as grass overgrown. Untidy patio. Not good for sitting in. Locks on bathroom doors and living room door didn't work. Hot tub was at front of house in parking area so didn't use it. Although it did look a good size. Has been a nice house at one time but could do with a major and decor refreshed.

Beautiful clean home, the hot tub was out the front of the property which I wasnt expecting but it was private and well kept. There was a little stream running down the side of the property which was lovely to listen to on the mornings. There was places to walk near by and if we had been there longer would likely have ventured into Whitby or nearby villages. Great place to go for a few days peace

Lovely property set in a quiet corner of a cul de sac in middle of village. Parking is very close to house so easy to access and load/unload the car. Lovely and spacious property-nicely decorated. Beautiful big social kitchen diner lounge space. Bedrooms all a good size and very comfy beds. Very quiet so great nights sleep. Modern bathrooms with good pressure in showers. Hot tub set outside was one of the best tubs we’ve had - lovely and big with powerful jets and perfect temperature. Lots of towels in there too. A fab stay and highly recommend.

House was lovely and in a nice area but for a £125 cleaning fee we expected the house and carpets to be clean.

Hi good points , kitchen,bathrooms vervy clean, bedding very fresh and clean, carpets need a good clean. as mentioned in previous reviews the mattresses in the doublerooms are totally worn out ,and need replacing ASAP. none of us 4 adults got any proper sleep ,infact I decided to sleep in the single room , where the mattress was ok but not suitable for an adult. no wheelie bins , the hoover smelled absolutely horrible and didn't work properly living room door didn't shut properly. If these issues are not addressed I don't see how you can charge the current price per night for this property . on reflection I don't think we would use yours services in the future. sorry for negative review, if people aren't truthful about the review your less likely to address the problems highlighted. We really enjoyed our stay and overall the house was lovely, but there was some general upkeep needed to reflect the price we paid. There was a board loose below the oven that fell off every time I opened it, smashed glass left outside the hot tub and a bag of rubbish left in the back garden. Other than that, beds were really comfy and the house was very homely. The hosts were responsive and helpful too.

Excellent property, lovely little getaway spot

On arrival the views were spectacular! The Key safe was very easy to use which we kept using throughout our stay. Beautiful house and extremely spacious. The bedrooms were very cosy, modern and spacious. Kitchen and living area was very spacious and modern. Great surprise with the hot tub which we used when we had the chance. The location was perfect, not far from a lot of places. Overall great stay and a beautiful part of the country!

Very disappointed Positive: The house itself is very nice & in a good location. The bedrooms were minimalist yet sufficient, bathroom was nice, ensuite very good with excellent shower Negative: On arrival everything seemed fine until I checked the kitchen area. Food debris on dining table, both ovens absolutely filthy inside and out, food Debris in fridge, freezer was so iced up I couldn't open the drawers, it had a bag of opened ice. There was left over opened dry food in cupboard, the toaster was full of burnt crumbs The small tables in the living area were so so dusty I could write my name in it A cupboard under the stairs had a duvet thrown in it along with tins of paint The garden area was so overgrown we could not use it The beds were 2 single beds pushed together, not ideal. The house was listed with a hot tub, which we were unable to use as it had not been safety checked I complained about the cleanliness, one of the housekeeping managers came out on Saturday afternoon & was appalled by what she saw, very apologetic, cleaned the tables & oven doors & was organising a deep clean for the oven trays etc, this however did not help us whilst staying there

Great place to stay with excellent links to Whitby and other areas along the coast

We had a comfy stay in an ideal location for Whitby. The village is a beautiful setting and perfect if you want to get out and explore. We all slept very well. We felt the cleaning fee was very expensive for the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Accommodation was great. Positive: The property was lovely. Modern, well equipped and good quality stylish furniture. It was also very spacious with a great heating system. Easy to operate. Negative: The property had not been cleaned well at all. We found dirty crockery in the cupboards with food on. Not been checked. The carpets were covered in bits and not hoovered. Bits of the sofa, not been hoovered. The toilet on the first floor had excrement stains under the seat when lifted and all of the furniture had a thick Layer of dust on it. The fridge was dirty too. I had to clean before I unpacked. The poetry cost £512 which isn’t cheap and I expected it to be spotless as other visitors had commented on. My son has a dust mite allergy and this clearly didn’t help. Not sure what the cleaners actually did other than empty the bins. There was only 2 coat hangers in the property and not enough cupboards in the kitchen to put your own food in.

Lovely stay, it had everything we needed, and we’d definitely stay again. One thing to point out is that that address is slightly different to what I provided by Airbnb, the property is tucked away at the back but this is reflected in the pictures.

House was lovely and comfortable. Was a bit concerned as the pictures looked too good but the house matched up to the high quality in the description. Definitely would stay here again. Train station and bus stops near the house so didn’t need to drive much.

Really great place to stay, beautiful home in a fantastic location with plenty of space. If there was one area to flag it was the lack of fresh milk on arrival but a very minor issue at what was otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable break

Kitchen dirty and ovens dirty, grass knee high not as described. Dirty laundry dumped in cleaning cupboard .messaged clean and stay abd they had to return. Disappointing shame because house was beautiful
