Lovely place, very close to great restaurants. Only issues; there could have been a little more information about the WiFi and the heating.

Excellent location for restaurants, pubs, buses and the Green shop. Spotlessly Clean. Access instructions omitted the last move - once inside no.51, it's the flat on the right. A few niggles like you can't control heating, having to wash up in bowl that doesn't fit in sink. It's a lot darker than photos suggest - a bit gloomy. Main annoyance was tiresome communications from agent/company who clearly didn't know the property, so made irrelevant suggestions in response to any queries. It all felt very impersonal (and mechanical- maybe AI is writing these answers?) They kept 'appreciating my understanding' as they refused me a second binbag, or insisted we took all the rubbish with us when we left (why??). This was not the hospitable, friendly hosting I'm used to enjoying from Airbnb. Despite great location, I wouldn't stay here again.

This little apartment is perfect for couples every little details I well thought about, and has a luxury feel to it. My husband I had a really wonderful few days here. If I was to be hyper critical, I would say perhaps remove some of the very beautiful objects from the tables so that you can prepare food and eat food, there is no WiFi and we found that neither of our phones could pick up any 4 or 5g very well so watching tv even with fire stick was impossible. But these are suggestions the impact was tiny during our stay, I would also remove the foot stall as we kept falling over it . But seriously what a fabulous little bolt hole, right next to the very trendy end of town we really can’t wait to come back it was wonderful thank you, x

We return to Berwick because there was a lots of amazing bars and restaurants to visit and the location couldn’t be better. Great base for exploring Northumberland & Scottish Coast too. Compact and quirky, with some nice quality touches. The shower needs to be better, the heating came on at weird times and some surrounding noise - all said it didn’t upset our stay. Parking easy in the car park close by.

Positive: Everything was good but would suggest putting a small sofa into the apartment instead of the chairs thought not big TV watchers ourselves some folks are and would be a lot more comfortable for people Other than that we had great stay Thanks Negative: Chairs would prefer a small sofa

The location was good, and we liked the quirky décor. The bedding and towels were lovely. Unfortunately, there were several practical issues that made our stay disappointing. The shower water flow was erratic, the TV didn’t work until we fixed it ourselves. The heating controls are in the owner’s upstairs flat and switched on at her discretion. The flat gets very little light so it was cold in the evenings. There was also no door on the bathroom, which meant very little privacy even though we are married. The owner lives directly upstairs, and we could hear both her and her dog moving around. One evening the owner went out, the dog barked and howled continuously for three hours until she returned. Most disappointing was the lack of help from Host & Stay who manage the listing. We sent multiple messages about the TV, heating and dog noise, but received very little useful assistance. We wouldn't stay again.

The apartment was beautiful, really well thought out with top notch bedding/towels, the duvet and pillows were fabulous and lots of attention to detail. For me there were just two let downs, one was that the kitchenette didn't have a way to heat food (note, it doesn't say there is in the listing, I just understood kitchenette to include a microwave or similar). The second thing was that there is no door to the bathroom which is straight off the bedroom. Some people may not mind this but I would have preferred it was mentioned in the listing so I could choose to avoid it if I wanted. Overall it was a pleasure to stay, the location is fantastic and they have really tried hard to make it something special. I would happily recommend a stay.
