Beautiful stay over Christmas at Lime Tree House.\n\nThe property is exactly as described well kitted out with everything you need for a home away from home. Clean, tidy and nice decor with a warm and homely feel. \n\nGreat location just off the M6, close enough to Kendal and surrounding areas when visiting family.\n\nThank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely visit again.

Fab stay, would be happy to return. Positive: Had a great stay, Lime Tree House was lovely and had everything you need and more. My daughter and husband especially enjoyed playing on the play-station on a rainy afternoon. The property had lots of space and felt very homely, and the beds were super comfy. Negative: The property was clean, but there were a lot of cobwebs!!

If you want somewhere that’s a perfect gateway to the Lakes without costing the earth this is the place. Beautiful little house, super clean, looked just like the photos. We stayed with my dog & my toddler - the stairs are quite steep (so we packed a portable stair gate) but everything was all fine. Peaceful little village that was within 30 mins of everywhere we wanted to go.

We had a wonderful stay at lime tree. The photos don’t do it justice. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Felt cosy and homely. My family had a lovely time and the house was a great base to explore the local area and lakes. Will definitely be back. Thanks

Lime tree house was a perfect place to stay as a family with our new granddaughter, it was a perfect cosy home for us to Positive: Lime Tree House was perfect in every way, it was so cosy, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a holiday and more. Negative: Nothing to not like it was fabulous

Lime tree house is a lovely place to stay. A Little further out from the lakes but fine. Beds were extremely comfy. The house was warm once heating on but staircase down to boot room cold. The staircase is also quite steep which is fine for us but maybe no good for small children. We had our dog with us and we managed well, but with no garden and directly on road meant we had to put harness on every time he needed to go out, but this was not a major problem. Host and stay didn’t really do anything about the fact the back door wouldn’t lock at all throughout our stay it needs fixing as it is not secure, just said they would get back to us. The house has everything you need and the inn a stones throw from the door is great for drinks and darts/pool for kids. We had a comfortable stay and would stay again, as it was an easy commute to main routes to the lakes and dales.

Great weekend away, great location. Positive: We had the best stay at this place , perfect location, great hosts , absolutely everything was provided we couldn’t have asked for better weekend away , would definitely recommend and we are definitely coming back 👌👏👍

Positive: Great range of equipment in the kitchen, nice interior design. Negative: No bedding provided for Sofa bed, 1 of us had to sleep on the sofa with no sheets for 4 days, not enough towels provided for all 5 of us. Host said housekeeping team would provide but they never turned up. Was very hot in upstairs bedrooms, due to the heat wave. Suggest having a summer bedding & winter bedding,

Beautiful cottage, next to a very friendly pub. Hard getting our old dog up and down the steep stairs. Positive: Fabulous location , for our charity walk. Negative: Steep stairs.

The property was beautiful, loads of character. Felt like home. Peaceful location which was accessible to other locations which is what we wanted. The beds were soft and you sank in them.

Positive: Really nicely renovated and furnished house over three floors, two bathrooms... Nice conservatory and Terrance. Excellently equipped. Overall super comfortable. And Holme is not a bad location for exploring the area! Negative: No supermarkets in close proximity, need to plan for that...

Lime Tree House was a gem of an Airbnb. A fantastic building, which has been beautifully and tastefully restored - the pictures are accurate and perfectly portray this property. We loved it and it felt immediately like home. I cannot fault any thing about our short stay here and would happily stay again. Thank you

Such an incredible space to stay with stunning views! The home was very clean as well as lovely and modern. There were lots of living space and places to relax throughout the home. The highlight has to be the conservatory and outdoor area with the stunning views of the hills in the distance. This home is set in an idyllic location not far from Windermere and the heart of the Lake District. We will definitely be looking at booking to stay here again!
